I like the quality of Clinique's blushes since they appear natural and does not irritate my skin. this is the only blush I go through in a year. regarding the packaging, I was surprised that it came in a regular brown box with just brown paper to protect it. if it was not a 'lazmall' classified store I would have had my doubts if it was the same shop that I have been buying from for the past years. I normally would receive orders in an official Clinique package with some freebies thrown in but since my debacle last time I ordered, I already surrendered on the freebies since they don't give those anymore. now, they have also stopped shipping in the Clinique packages. I feel really taken aback by this. I bought two fragile items and i am thankful that it did not break ... Clinique's Cheek Pop Blushes are such an amazing product. They're pigmented enough that you don't need to keep going back into the pan, but not so pigmented that they're difficult to work with. The color is so smooth and even, with such a natural and skin-like finish. There is no glitter or shimmer left on the skin, just natural-looking color. "Pink Honey" is a warm peach- I found Clinique's photos of it to be pretty misleading, it's much more warm-toned in person. I included a swatch of it next to their Almost Lipstick version of Pink Honey- unfortunately they are not a perfect match, but they still look beautiful worn together! I have very pale skin with neutral, warm-leaning undertones and I love this color on me. Very much recommended!

Gasping in shock of the most beautiful blush I have ever experienced! Firstly, The packing is substantial and high quality. It is a minimal feel, weighty, and easy to open and close. Now for the best part. This shade pansy pop is the most beautiful cool toned lavender blush I have come across. I have been looking for purple blush for sometime now and this shade is excellent. I have light olive skin and this shade is so natural looking on me giving me a youthful glow. The formula is effortless, light weight and creamy. It applies like nothing I have ever owned. It just melts into my skin in such a natural way. It’s buildable and looks airbrushed when I use it. I’m glad I took the plunge and ordered this from Clinique’s website.

I love cream and liquid blushes especially when I’m just doing a quick “no makeup” makeup look and especially in the summer time. I rarely wear a full out face of makeup. Clinique’s Cheek Pop is not only cute, but it’s very creamy, pigmented, and comes in many shades that look good on lots of skin tones. I like to just swipe some on with my finger and blend as much as possible on my cheeks with my fingers, then I typically go in with a blending sponge and even it out. This color is perfect for summer and gives you the perfect tint. I also have the Black Honey Cheek Pop that matches their Black Honey Almost Lipstick (absolute fav lipstick) and the cheek color is beautiful for fall and winter. Especially if you can’t get your hands on the Rare Beauty Liquid Blush!
I'll start by stating that this blush definitely isn't as dark in person as it is shown in the pictures here. It's a neutral beige sort of pink and it's very flattering. Since it is a powder blush, though, I'm not sure whether or not it would suit deeper skin tones without looking too light. So it's not quite universal, which is a shame. The texture of the blush is very soft and it feels finely milled. It's easily blendable and doesn't show up patchy on skin. The pigment is nice and I don't have to use a lot to see a difference. I could see this being good for natural or "full glam" makeup as well. The flower design is lovely and the packaging is a durable, thick plastic that allows this blush to survive great falls when in my makeup bag. Overall, this is a great ... Overall, this is a great product but I think Clinique could have made more efforts to make this suitable for darker skin tones, too, given that a lot of the appeal of the Black Honey line is that the shade suits everyone.
I have this blush and other shades, and I absolutely love it, and I'm a long-time makeup artist. Not every blush needs to be high-pigment, high-impact to be beautiful and sophisticated. For those saying that the colours don't match the artificial swatch images shown, this is completely normal. To actually know what a makeup product colour looks like in reality, in this case, a blush shade, look up the blush and shade on YouTube for a live swatch. That is the best resource. The second resource is a simple Google search (type in swatch afterwards), only if one can't find it on YouTube, which is unlikely. There are many great swatch videos of these blushes. Also, these blushes are hard-pressed into the pan, which makes them last forever. It also means that they don't ... There are many great swatch videos of these blushes. Also, these blushes are hard-pressed into the pan, which makes them last forever. It also means that they don't pick up as easily as some other blushes, which is not a negative at all. These are great quality. It's a baked gelee formula that typically needs a firmer brush to pick up. This is what gives off a that lovely sheen on the cheeks, with no sparkle.Additionally, with baked gelee formulas, it has been noted the product has fallen out of the pan for some. It hasn't happened to me, but this is the nature of baked gelees sometimes (and other makeup, quite frankly). Just super-glue it back in - problem solved. They are baked onto terracotta tiles in ovens, in Italy.Hope that helps.. :)
I started wearing Cheek Pops when they first came out. Favorite shades for my complexion are Fig and Plum Pop. Plum Pop is the perfect bright cool toned pink for my olive complexion. It's one of my most worn blushes, but I'm afraid they no longer make it. Why!? :( Fig Pop is also fantastic. It's a toasty, reddish deep terracotta tone. I'm looking at Black Honey Pop next. These Blushes give just the right amount of subtle glow to the cheeks. They are extremely long-wearing. The formula is unique. It's a baked blush that is very tightly packed, so there's no kick up in the pan. A synthetic brush works well as long as you "dig" a little into the pan. A natural fiber brush grips the product a bit easier. I'll use either, depending what's closest.I do have (two) issues, though:1) The blush can come completely loose from the plate it's baked on, and then it is susceptible to breaking once it's no longer secure in the packaging. This happened with every single shade I own except for one within a very short time of opening them. Thankfully the product is so firm it doesn't actually break it once it comes loose and keeps its circular form. None of mine have ever shattered despite having been loose in the packaging and my continual use. I just keep them in my drawer and don't let them jostle around. I don't travel with them often, but I did for my wedding and they were fine.2) The plastic compact stops closing securely so I have to tape them shut to keep the loose product from falling out! Makes it look ugly having a piece of packing tape covering the compact, then it loses its sticky over time and needs replacing lol. Yeah, these two problems combined are annoying. The fact that I put up with it and still prefer to use these over other Blushes says a lot! I would generally not be so willing to look past these flaws, esp in conjunction with each other. But I haven't purchased a new Blush Pop in several years. Maybe they've fixed these problems by now?Product 5/5Packaging 2/5
I have three shades of this blush -- Black Honey, Pink Honey, and Pansy. These are great if you like less pigmented but buildable, natural-looking blush. The texture feels like somewhere between a cream and powder, and it's packed tight into the pan so you need to scrape it a bit with the brush to get pigment. Even Black Honey, which looks like an intimidating dark purple in the pan, sheers out to a medium pink-mauve color. Pink Honey and Pansy are both obviously made for fair skin rather than my light-medium tone, but once I build it up the colors look a lot like the natural pink/redness on my face so I use it for work makeup frequently.
I absolutely love this product. I have tried many different blushes, and I'm very picky. I have never found a powder blush like this. I get the black honey shade, and It's so buildable and easy to blend out. It looks so subtle and natural as well. You can make it light coverage of heavier coverage. And the design is sooo cute. I have a medium light skin tone, it's a very natural looking shade of pink on me. Definitely worth the money.
I purchased the Pansy Pop. The color is a lovely cool violet. It applied easily and wore well--except, it made my cheeks irritated and sore. I must be sensitive to one of the ingredients. I tried to initiate an online return, but it would not give me the option of dropping the package off at my local UPS drop site downtown--I was only given two choices, both of which were almost 20 miles from my home. I contacted Customer Service about this and was basically told "too bad," and that I'd need to drive to one of those other towns or else schedule a UPS pick up. This is beyond ridiculous when I have a UPS drop site only blocks from my house. I told CS I wouldn't be ordering anymore Clinique from their website if returns are going to be so complicated. Terrible!!!!!!!
