Beyond excited for Starfield. Even if it has bugs, the concept is something we’ve wanted for ages. The controller is proof of a real Limited Edition Collector’s item, and the quality of the Series S/X Model Controllers are no joke. Almost up to par with the Elite Controller. Clear Triggers look and feel beyond cushiony, thumbsticks have no drift so far and hoping it stays that way. Grip on the back feels more high quality than the Shock Blue I got on day one it released.

This is the most beautiful XBox controller I've seen! Photos don't do it justice. It feels solid in its construction, and while I do feel wary do to the terrible quality I've experienced with XBox Elite controllers, I've been reassured by others that the standard XBox Wireless controllers tend to be more durable. Time will tell. At this point, I can say nothing bad about this controller, aside from the fact that it doesn't have the nice, mouse-click-feeling buttons that are on my Razer Wolverine V2. In fact, the triggers on this XBox controller have a nicer feel than my Razer; they feel smoother and more solid. All in all, for the money you pay, this Starfield Edition XBox Wireless controller is a solid choice.

This controller is gorgeous! There was amazing attention to detail when creating this one. The controls for the game are mapped out all the controller like the blueprint. The Golden d-pad is cool. The see-through triggers are an awesome touch as well. You can see the little rumble thingies spinning when they go off. The controller has a really nice textured grip to it as well so it is comfortable to use.

The controller itself is great! Good quality! But, my word. The thing will NOT stay bluetooth connected to my PC! Specifically purchased bluetooth, so there are no wires. So, now it's connected with wires so that I don't lose my mind while playing my games.I recommend it for its great design, but if you're wanting to use it on PC and hope for a seamless bluetooth connection, this is not it. It would also be worth the price if it worked as intended. So, I give it a fair rating because it works perfectly connected via a wire.
This is THE controller that was capable of making me buy the first controller in my life. The design is minimalistic, yet elegant. The quality appears to be sturdy.Best Buy shipped it within a few days. From the description I was missing the information about whether it can be used in a wired mode. Luckily it can, via the USB C port. In that case the controller does not need batteries either, making it even lighter.T minus 6 days until lift off!!!
I had been eyeing this controller ever since I heard it was coming out, and finally decided to take the plunge. Im a sucker for the special editions - Ive got Lunar Shift and Stellar Shift already. The Starfield SE controller does not diaappoint! Its so much more vibrant in person. I love the rainbow around the Nexus button, and the tiny details everywhere else. The golden d pad, red thumbsticks, and clear triggers just make it all that much better. One of the best parts of the special edition controllers too is the rubber grips, and I feel like I would struggle to play woth a controller that didnt have that now. It comes with a free dynamic background - which is okay. Cool perk, but nothing to write home about. Playstation definitely has the mechanical features ... This one is definitely my new favorite. Highly recommend!
A premium Xbox Controller. This is for use with PC via the Xbox Windows dongle. My previous two year old Xbox controller started to drift and as I’m hyped for Starfield this was a no brainer. The Starfield theming is fun and in line with their “NASA-punk” aesthetic. If you’re excited for Starfield and need a new controller it’s easily worth the modest price premium. The materials feel nicer than the standard controller and it looks great.
I’m posting my review of both the headset and controller. These are the real deal! I hate buying collectible hardware that feels and looks cheaper than the standard/original, these are better. The material quality is great in each area. It’s cool that the headset makes games chime sounds . I was an IT for over 15 years, my partner and I are both avid gamers, and we were both smiling instantly when we held them, the feel and quality/detail is recognizable. The Headphones: Sound great, are soft, feel durable, the mic output has been clear, the ear pieces are very soft. There’sa fast forward and rewind option, they’re comfortable. These are not featherweight headsets by any stretch of the imagination, but, they aren’t the heaviest I’ve had. Heaviness or lightness obviously differ based on person, I have a nerve condition and am like 115 on a good day so, maybe to others this is light. Partner seems mostly indifferent to the weight.Controller: I love the clear buttons detail and the grip, feels sturdy but time will tell.I love the metal areas and the markings/characters that make it clear that care was put into these. Both look amazing up close and deliver what was stated at announcement for their release.
The XBOX Wireless Controller - Starfield Limited Edition is an exceptional gaming accessory that truly stands out. Its unique Starfield design adds a touch of interstellar flair to your gaming setup. The controller's wireless connectivity ensures a seamless gaming experience, allowing you to enjoy your favorite titles without the hassle of cords. The ergonomic design and textured grip provide comfort during long gaming sessions, enhancing both precision and control. Whether you're exploring alien worlds or engaging in epic battles, this limited edition controller adds a sense of immersion that truly enhances your gameplay. It's a must-have for both avid gamers and collectors alike.
This is my first specialty xbox controller and it looks absolutely breathtaking compared to my plain old black controller. The pictures don't do it justice. The gold accents of the d-pad as well as the clear triggers complete the opulence/space age aesthetic. I usually put my controller displayed on my desk an this is something i really love displaying. In terms of functionality, it's just like every other generic Xbox Series S/X controller so don't expect anything new on that end. All in all, while it's pretty expensive and unlikely to go on sale soon after its launch, it is still highly worth a buy before there's no more stock.
