Clean, Modern, Masculine and Safe Sauvage Eau de Toilette is very nice. It starts off like a clean masculine shower-gel type smell with touch of bright citrus. There’s a small bit of pepper in the beginning as well, but not too in your face and it goes away. The scent stays the same for the most part. This stuff is still pretty strong so I wouldn’t over spray it. A little bit goes a long way. When you wear Sauvage EDT you feel clean and masculine. It’s very nice, people will enjoy how you smell. It's the one I'm going to stick with because all it takes is a little on the wrists or neck, and you're smelling amazing the whole day. It opens very sweet/fruity but with a substantial peppery base, from which I pull some of the patchouli as well. It is clean, soapy, or somewhat “cool.” It is not a warm scent, but it can be worn year-round. Unlike Bleu de Chanel, which I feel opens and transforms from the initial grapefruit note, Sauvage is more linear, and what you get when you spray it is what you get several hours later, but that isn’t a bad thing. Off the top, the citrus is really loud, but after a few minutes, that citrus drops down and blends perfectly with the ambroxan and pepper to create an almost powdery sweetness while maintaining a clean, masculine edge. It’s Dior, and they blend their fragrances really well. This scent is great for a blind buy if you’re getting it for a Christmas gift for almost anyone. And it’s so powerful that you don’t have to use many sprays. Just a couple of dabs from this sample was a nice amount to last 4-6 hours where I could catch occasional wafts. Theres a reason this is Dior's most popular mens fragrance. It smells good and easy to wear in most situations. Bergamot up front, lavender and geranium mid with cedar and ambroxan in the base. This was a sample size of the edt concentration. It's a bit louder than the edp or parfum and has a sharper opening. If you want to smell good you cannot go wrong with Sauvage, however due to its popularity it does not smell particularly interesting or unique. Its a dumb reach frag and will get you compliments however i knocked a star as I prefer the smoothness of the edp concentration. I get about 7 hours longevity and good projection for the first 2 hours. The sillage stays in the air for quite a while as well.

To really pull this one off you have to have the right attitude and be polite and mature, otherwise girls think Sauvage was the first proper fragrance that I had smelt and noticed on someone else. Citrus" but that's kind of a trend among many of these and it calms down quickly. after about 30 minutes thought it smelled like a nice hotel liquid soap sample. around an hour later i was at (lol) home depot, the door greeter (older woman) actually grabbed me and asked what i was wearing. over in the screw bolt area some guy's wife followed me and asked too. he was unimpressed. this whole time of getting complements i was going around thinking this stuff doesn't really have much of a smell. my favorite complement so far has been "you smell like a distinguished gentlemen." haha while wearing cargo shorts and a black t-shirt. i smoke good quality cigars occasionally and i think the smell they have in ... Morei sprayed some on (5 squirts on chest). my first reaction was "UGH! It’s got to the one of the best selling men’s fragrances of the year, and it’s no wonder why - the woodsy, manly, sharp scent accentuates masculinity and power. It really is a great scent, especially for the younger crowd. The only thing I don’t love about it (other than its popularity among young clubs) is how synthetic it can get to feeling - but what do you expect for something designed just to turn heads. Dior Sauvage; the best way to describe this fragrance with three words: Sexy, versatile, and addictive. The EDT (Eau De Toilette) blend is possibly the best value for your money when it comes to this product, although for some, it may be considered quite a sharp fragrance, but that's simply due to its strength, with beast-mode performance and ultra sexy, no wonder Johnny Depp is the face of the fragrance. It has a brilliant blend of notes, opening with a fresh spicy blend of bergamot and pepper, then drying down into a sexy and floral blend of lavender, vetiver, patchouli and pink pepper. 8/10, very captivating fragrance, but still a little on the expensive side.

Top notes: Calabrian Bergamot and Pepper; middle notes: Sichuan Pepper, Lavender, Pink Pepper, Vetiver, Patchouli, Geranium and Elemi; base notes: Ambroxan, Cedarwood and Labdanum Despite the price, one of the best men's vapors. I hear compliments on it all the time. Comfortable for every day and for all occasions. A favorite in the collection, I recommend it to everyone!
