Ok so I think I saw this on an instagram ad or something a while ago, and have been thinking about it for ages. Finally the fair shade came back in stock, and I bought it to test. Firstly, I’ve just turned 30 and I’m learning to accept that I’m aging, and I’ve been noticing more and more that concealer is starting to sit in the fine lines under my eyes. I’ve been on the hunt for something that brightens the under eye, and is lightweight enough that it doesn’t settle in to the fine lines or look cakey, as I’m fully in the clean girl aesthetic make up era. This product is so so good. You hardly need any product for it to make a significant impact. My under eye looks brighter, but not weird, and it doesn’t cake. I’ve tried it with my finger and the Vieve 119 concealer ... MoreOk so I think I saw this on an instagram ad or something a while ago, and have been thinking about it for ages. I’ve tried it with my finger and the Vieve 119 concealer brush, and both blend the product really nicely. I don’t powder that much because I have dry skin, and this doesn’t shift or separate throughout the day like my concealer normally would. This is now my absolute go to for no make up days. Cannot recommend enough!

I don't have major darkness under eyes but I wanted something to cover up my veins that show through because I have thin skin and then something to just touch up the inner eye area that has a teeny bit of darkness. I have light/medium skin and got the medium peach color. Was worried it would be drying and cakey because I've never really been able to use anything of CT's because it's irritating. This however, works. Texture is silky, just takes a little bit warmed between your fingers and pat it in gently. I use a little Westman Atelier concealer over it and then also the WA pressed powder and the finish is lovely. Lasts all day. 50 yr old with combo/dry skin. I prep with Clarins Double Serum Eye, let it sit for a few minutes and then apply this. Eyes stay hydrated ... If you have intense dark circles and fair skin, I'm sure you've had similar experiences where it feels like not many concealers or foundations look very good because you have this bright product sitting on top of a very dark/purple-tone base -- it looks off and almost a little scary. This color corrector is the only one I've ever tried that not only made face makeup wearable for me but elevated it to looking beautiful. You can use orange lipsticks or cheaper brands but this is truly the luxury version of color correction and it is worth its price in performance, ease of application, and it doesn't budge or mix with whatever goes on top. This is a great product for concealing darkness under the eyes. I apply this as the first step in my makeup routine. I warm up the product with my fingers or on the back of my hand and then pat it in under my eyes with a brush. You do have to be careful with how much you apply, it’s best applying in thin layers. I typically apply a thin layer of this and a very thin layer of concealer over the top. Can be used with or without powder. I have given this 4 stars as it can cling to dry patches under the eye, but this can be solved by applying a good moisturiser or eye cream beneath. The skin around my eyes is extremely sensitive
I wanted to try this corrector instead of my usual Tarte cc one just to see if it lived up to the hype. The packaging is very similar so I paid the extra few dollars and could not wait to give this a try. This product for me, is a complete nightmare. I have semi dry undereyes with some crepiness, but this product made them look 100xs worse. It creased like crazy, looked very patchy as if it slid down my eyes in certain areas, and coverage did not last. I tried using my finger, a brush, a sponge, and nothing helped. It looks good for the 1st 5 minutes and then you start to see wrinkles you never knew you had. I should have stuck with Tarte.
It's magic you know. Absolutely in love with this product. It does what it says. A little goes a long way. Easy to use. Goes on like butter. It has taken years to find the perfect colour corrector but here it is. Love how easy it is to use but also how flawless it looks. This product has up'd my make up game. Having this little dynamite "in my pocket", excites me to put on make-up everyday. Love this colour corrector. Hope they never discontinue this ever.
Okay, so I had high hopes for this product after reading and watching reviews, but I think I may have come to the conclusion that my expectations need to be lowered. I have hereditary darkness under my eyes and I've been trying all sorts of late to try and combat this one irritation I have about my complexion. This product has a lovely consistency and is highly pigmented, it goes on with ease (whether using my ring finger or a concealer brush), and it seems to stay in place. However, does it 'vanish' the darkness - yes and no. Obviously this product is a colour corrector and so concealer is needed after application, but I had hoped that with this corrector I could use less concealer and this is not the case. From a distance I would say that there is an appearance of brightness, but up close my under eye area still looks annoyingly dark. I would recommend to anyone who does not have significant darkness. I will say, though, it covers redness really well.
I haven't used color correctors in a while (never really had much luck years ago with them), as i just use really full coverage concealer. But as I'm aging, that much conealer accentuates my fine lines and makes my under eyes look INCREDIBLY dry after applying powder, which is necessary to prevent or minimize creasing. I watched some videos on how to help my poor undereyes, which now have dark circles as I'm aging as well. They recommended using color correctors so that you can use less concealer, and thus reduce the amount of creasing and settling into fine lines (and also use less powder). This was one of the recommended ones (I bought a few of the recommended products). I used it over the weekend on the first day, by itself. I couldn't believe how little I ... This was one of the recommended ones (I bought a few of the recommended products). I used it over the weekend on the first day, by itself. I couldn't believe how little I needed, and HOW WELL IT WORKED just on its own. My daughter looked at me and said, "you look different..... like younger". First win! I then wore it over the course of 4 working days under 3 different concealers (Lancôme Teint Idole, Dermablend Full Coverage Concealer, and Fenty We're Even Hydrating concealer). All three required SIGNIFICANTLY less concealer than I would have applied without the corrector, and they all looked beautiful. They lasted all day, with Lancôme lasting all day with no creasing (the other two creased just a tiny bit, not really noticeable unless you're right up to my eyes). My eyes didn't look as dry or old as with normal amounts of concealer. This stuff is phenomenal. I did buy the Elf corrector to compare..... I did not find Elf to work as well by itself, and it had more of a greasy texture that didn't make me feel like it would last the way Charlotte Tilbury would. This is DEFINITELY worth every penny. If you're on the fence, do it.
Unfortunately in the product description the color Tan is described for tan / deep skin tones. I have a fair complexion but have blue and purple eye bags. If you have blue and or purple eye bags THIS ORANGE SHADE IS WHAT YOU NEED! Don't be fooled by the description and don't be afraid of the fact this is orange. First to comment on the product it comes in a sturdy case. A little goes a long way. It's a lightly creamy formula that turns to a powder once blended onto under eye area. I posted two pics. One with NOTHING on ( pardon my skin is peeling bc I use tretinoin which has helped my eyebags lighten they were much worse). Then applied Bye Bye Pores It Cosmetics Translucent Finishing Powder. If I could change 1 thing before this post would be to start with some sort of light moisturizer followed by a face or eye primer under my eyes. But I wanted to just do a review of this product and wasn't putting on all my (much needed to address issues) make up. I think the pics speak for themselves. Ignore all the other issues going on....hooded eyes etc. These pictures are strictly to reference how a deep orange or salmon color corrector is appropriate for fair complexions if you are using it to correct dark under eye circles with blue and purple tones! Hope this helps! Don't be scared of the orange!
