Chanel Ultra Le Teint Ultrawear Flawless Finish Foundation

Over the years I’ve tried many high end foundations, but always come back to Chanel. I purchased this one in the color B20 (light medium shade neutral undertones) it’s a perfect match for my skin. The formula is perfect, you get enough all day coverage, but not so much that it feels heavy or look cakey. One pump is enough for a sheer coverage, two pump are more than plenty if you’re going for a full face of makeup. It’s matte enough where setting powder isn’t needed, but has enough subtle sheen with the satiny finish to make it look like your skin, just better, not at all like so many foundations where someone can immediately see the foundation on the face. It feels good on the skin, very light, covers well, blends easily does not run, which is very important to me in the humid climate I live in. The packaging is beautiful on the vanity, a heavy glass bottle with the Chanel logo on top. The pump is triggered by how much you press down it, so you get exactly the amount you want. This foundation is also flexible moves with your skin, it doesn’t settle into creases. It can be worn by itself resulting in a soft matte finish, or in combination with primer, concealer, setting powder and/or setting spray for a full makeup look. I would definitely recommend this wonderful foundation to anyone, try it once you’ll be hooked as I am. It’s also a great value despite the higher price because it’s so well formulated it only takes a little, so in the long run you save money have a luxury foundation. 100% will keep buying this, it will last me about 6 months with daily application. Absolutely beautiful

Finding a foundation for the last few years has been nothing short of frustrating. I am 36 with natural skin. No work done. I have fine lines and smile lines. All foundations today seem to be glowy, illuminating or heavy on the skin care. This sounds lovely, but settles into my fine lines every single time. I decided to start looking for a more budge proof, soft matte foundation and this one fit bill. It's stunning. It doesn't move, feels lightweight and holds when I wear sunglasses. It makes my skin appear so smooth and does not emphasize any lines. I absolutely love it.

I have used this foundation for some time now, and love it. I actually switched from many years of using the famous long lasting foundation from EL, and find its staying power even better. However, I don't know what has happened to the shades, as I have found replacement bottles are really quite different from previous ones. They had been out of stock for some time, and that seemed to be when the issue started. I had been using shade 20, and it was fine, but the replacement bottle is more like shade 30, and the tone has changed. I have ended up going down a shade, to no.10, but that is really a bit too light. In reality I could probably do with a shade 15 now, but that doesn't exist. Chanel is all I use

I started using Chanel foundations 12 years ago when they had Pro Lumiere in shade 2.5. It was beautiful. Then they started the new shade system. So I switched to Perfection Lumiere, followed by Perfection Velvet, then Ultra Le Teint in the newest formula around 2018. I've worn Aqualumiere and Vitalumiere 35, my favorite. I've worn Les Beiges too. You can't get a better foundation than Chanel. It's the only one that doesn't cause breakouts or allergies. It's all I use. Ultra Le Teint is not Matte or cakey. Please use a little because it bleds smoothly and covers everything. It's a satin matte. I like B30 since it I'd perfectly neutral. I'm asked by others how come I still look fresh all day, and this foundation is why!

I have bought it again and again!

This is the best foundation I have ever used! I have tried them all. I have dry skin and it works with literally every primer or without it. It looks like skin, layers like a dream, long wearing and not glowy. I hate glowy because I have mature skin and glow is not flattering. If it doesn't work, you are probably using too much skincare underneath or sunscreen etc. OR you are using too much foundation. You literally need two pumps for "almost" full coverage.The bottle also lasts for a long time. I am on my 4th bottle right now. I have fair skin and use the lightest shade. For reference, I'm Mont Blanc in Nars, Armani #2, Estee Lauder 1N1. Highly recommend!

Not for sensitive skin (rash-inducing)

I thought my several years long search for the perfect foundation had finally come to an end. I’ve done so much browsing, so much research, and after seeing that this product has an excellent health rating on the Yuka app, I really thought this was the one. The color was perfect. The feel was perfect. Coverage also perfect. However, after several uses, I am undeniably allergic to something in this foundation. I have broken out in a full rash on my face too many times now. It takes about a week or two for my skin to fully calm down. It also contains some sort of fragrance, which I think could be the culprit. It’s very disappointing. Such an expensive product too. It’s such a shame.

Perfect formula for combo skin

You have to have the right person color match you. Unfortunately I had a guy named Nick at the location near Columbus circle color match me the first time. He treated me like he was obligated to help me and had me feeling like I had to apologize for bothering him at the end of it. I wanted to repurchase a base I had gotten over a year ago but instead of trying to help he simply said I should go to the Chanel store to buy it because they no linger carry it. Not surprising I had to go back to get rematched. Ossie helped me and she’s beyond wonderful and amazing. Even though it’s not her counter she was such a blessing. Super kind and overall helpful. Pleasantly surprised

I ordered this foundation after a girl in my dance class recommended it. It looked so beautiful and flawless on her skin, and she said it was long wearing, which I like in a foundation. I have normal skin, and I do get shiny in my T-zone, which is why I look for foundations with mattifying properties. I religiously used Estee Lauder's Double Wear, but sometimes it felt too heavy on my skin. I liked the finish of the foundation, so I opted to not set it with powder. It looked fresh and beautiful, even hours later! The one thing I abhor about this foundation is the fragrance. Why is that in there? I don't understand the purpose and could honestly do without it. I get migraines regularly and some scents are triggering. I could see this one being one that might trigger a migraine; however, I did notice the scent faded pretty rapidly in my opinion. It's not a deal breaker because of how gorgeous the foundation wore on my skin, but I would not be upset if they removed the fragrance altogether! Definitely worth the extra cash if you feel like splurging on a foundation, but if I found anything cheaper that was comparable, I would probably go with that option over this pricey formula.

Shade #B30 Review

This is a great foundation that offers medium coverage, long wear and a soft matte finish. I have been using it since Perfection Lumiere was discontinued in the USA around 2019. Le Teint is similar but less heavy. I went hiking in summer and it stayed on. It does not dry out my skin. For reference, I have light olive skin and use ELDW 3N1. Chanel's shade range spans from light to dark in 3 undertones: Beige Rose (BR), Beige Doré (BD), and Beige (B). I tried all three undertones in the light-to-medium range and settled on B30, a neutral. I set it with Chanel's loose powder #3. It doesn't burn, sting, itch, or cause break outs. I've tried other brands that irritated me after a couple of weeks. When I return to this, my skin heals and remains clear.

This makeup saved me!

Ever since Mac reformulated their studio fix fluid, I'd been on a deep search for something that even came close. I had tried so many different brands to no avail, and was about at the point of giving up when I decided to give the Chanel Ultra Le Teint a try. Thank GOD I DID! This makeup is absolutely amazing and I like it even better than the old studio fix fluid! It glides on super smooth. Contains ingredients that make my skin moisturized and subtle. It does not oxidize at all and looks even better as the day goes on! The color you see is the color you get. Doesn't separate or get cakey. Doesn't settle into fine lines. Doesn't break me out. Doesn't make me oily and doesn't slide off.
