Wow! The Chanel Ink Matte lip color is highly pigmented! The formal is VERY matte, however, it applies with ease. The color stays put and does not transfer. The packaging is is a beautiful slightly frosted glass tube. The applicator is perfect with an angled tip for easy application.

The perfect deep rep lip for me. Love this formula, it doesn’t dry out my lips or make them look crackly or dehydrated. It takes a bit to dry down, but once it does it will stay put. The color fades nicely, which I appreciate. It doesn’t remove pigment in a weird way, the fade is gradual and doesn’t look unflattering which is rare for this deep red shade. The shade itself is a deep, purple-toned red. Such a good shade, it would look great on all skin tones. This color and formula makes this liquid lip a staple for me, and I usually hate liquid lipsticks but this one is different. My favorite way to apply is swiping it on with the doefoot and then patting it into my lips.

This is the Chanel rouge allure ink fusion ultra wear intense matte liquid lip color, retails for $38.00. It is ideal to exfoliate before using these or it won’t be as flattering. The shade, “Fleur se lotus (830)” is a darker, red coral with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It has semi opaque pigmentation that applied well. Lightweight, almost watery formula that shows lip texture. Lasted almost 4 hours on me and wasn’t drying. Distinctif (842) is a medium-dark orange-coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. Consistent formula, watery and thin. Full coverage that is transfer resistant that’s fairly comfortable. Also lasted almost 4 hours.

Now, As per quality, in this particular product, it at least gives you gloss on your way yet without needing a loss for days afterwards, meaning way too much loss comes out of every glass container I mean let’s face it it’s wasteful and you end up liking half of it off and then blotting some!!! Because when I get any kind of samples and they’re gone immediately if not from the women who work the counters and men, who give it to their friends, but intern of course all the girls get them all that work there and intern give it to their friends so there’s never any samples there and that is very much from the horses mouth the reason why! So at least a lot of you know now!

This is my go-to lipstick for special occasions because it is the longest lasting lipstick I’ve ever used. I own this lipstick in the shade 146 Seduisant which is a bright warm-toned, pink coral color with fine pearl and matte finish. This lipstick is strongly pigmented. It dries pretty quickly so I cannot rub my lips to spread it evenly but I do use a second application to go over any missing spots. This lipstick does fade a little bit with eating and drinking. It lasts about 6 hours and leaves a strong tint on the lips. The only negative about this lipstick is that it is a little drying on my lips. The price is on the higher end but the packaging is luxe as expected from Chanel.

Modern Liquid Lip Formula

This liquid lip feels so comfortable and hydrating and does not emphasize any texture. I really love the smaller packaging and it feels luxe in the hand. I have light skin and dirty blonde hair. On my complexion, shade 148 is the perfect pinky/red to transition into spring. I wore it with a minimal eye with a wash of light pink shadow and blush and it's perfection.

Not purple

This is not purple. Maybe a plum color, but purple it is not. The texture is very watery, which means you have to apply at least 3-4 coats to even get something remotely similar as what you see on the tube. And even then, it will not look purple. Perhaps on darker lips, but not on mine. It also has pink undertones instead of blue and that's what keep it from looking purple. On me, it looks like a fuchsia that wants to be purple. It is also very small and the applicator leaves a lot to desire. Not for my taste. Quite frankly, it feels like I was using a cheap knock off instead of a Chanel product. They seriously went down in quality. This one is getting returned.

Ok but won’t be a favourite

Always love the natural finish of these! Not too matte that lips end up dry looking.A little sad to find my favourite shade has been discontinued, but am liking the natural looking shade. Not as much staying power as these ones used to have. Now need a primer which is disappointing .
