Canon R T1.5 L F Cine Lens 24 mm
The Canon CN-R 24mm T1.5 L F Cinema Prime Lens (Canon RF) has a 11-blade iris and maximum T1.5 aperture make for a natural bokeh effect with a wide depth of field and smooth image falloff. A consistent warm color balance ensures natural color reproduction particularly suited for skin tone capture. The dual-pixel focus guide reduces focus breathing while providing framing stability. Lens markings are displayed in feet, and the focus ring rotates 300° for precision. 8K HDR Image Capture The CN-R lenses are rated for 8K HDR image capture for high-quality color rendition and sharp detail throughout your image. Multiple lens coatings correct various aberrations and create the Canon-characteristic warm image tone. Color reproduction is consistent across the series, minimizing the need for color correction in post. The 8K chromatic aberration correction reduces color bleeding, while the light-shielding design and optimized coatings prevent unwanted ghosting or flares. Select Camera Compatibility Currently, the CN-R lens series brings select feature compatibility to Canon EOS C70 and R5 C camera models. This includes distortion correction, which is facilitated via high-speed data transfer for transferring metadata and lens characteristics directly to the camera. Dual-pixel focus guides, peripheral illumination, and chromatic aberration correction are exclusive to these camera models as well. Intuitive Lens Switching Common gearing positions, 114mm front diameter, 105mm filter diameter, and shared focus rotation range ensure consistency across the lens series. Use the same follow focus system, matte box, lens filters, or other tools, no matter the focal length mounted on your camera.

This lens is absolutely amazing glass. The image is sharp and the bokeh is beautiful. The focus ring is smooth as can be with a ton of throw. This is my first Cine Lens and it makes the L-Series glass I was using with my DSLRs (1DC and 5D Mk III) feel like toys.

I use this lens almost daily. It is absolutely the best wide prime lens for EF mount. I use it both on my URSA EF and on my Canon 6D. Shooting with full frame sensors lets you get the most out of it. Pros: Sharp throughout the aperture range. Almost no detectable light falloff on the corners. Very smooth focus/aperture rings. The focus ring turns and turns and turns. The build quality is exceptional, really gives Zeiss and Schneider a run for their money. Cons: Heavy as anything, so using on a DSLR (as I sometimes do) it makes the camera flop down. With the BMD URSA, which is my main studio tool, this lens feels like it belongs on there. The camera and lens have similar build quality and they are both crazy heavy. Thank goodness for tripods.
