Camille Rose Sweet Ginger Cleansing Rinse 355ml

I never used an entire line of products that actually worked, it’s always one great product per collection and like my other curly girls we just keep buying to try to create the perfect set from different companies and spend such a huge load of money on our hair products. I also included a recent photo so you also should note you don’t need a lot of product to lather. I had this same set since the summer and I wash weekly and thoroughly saturate my hair with my styling products so you can see a good amount is left so it definitely lasts. I highly recommend for anyone with a similar texture to my own.

A hair quenching shampoo

I am quite happy that I picked the Camille Rose Cleansing Rinse. It is gentle on the scalp and hair while giving a nice, clean feeling after washing the hair. The best part is you can detangle your hair easily, however dry your hair may be, the tangles melt away nicely without a fight. The smell is not super strong, does not linger at all. I generally prefer no-fragrance products, but this was a good surprise. Combine this with the Camille Rose Conditioning Custard and you have a great duo for simply cleanse & condition for everyday use. ++ Can be used for wavy, swavy, straight haired people too.

Amazing product

Have been natural for a while. Hair is 4C high porosity, medium length, tangles were a nightmare. I've tried several products throughout my journey to embrace natural curls and spent several dollars. None can hold a candle to this shampoo. The difference was noticeable after one shampoo. The comb-out was effortless (less than 5 minutes); hair loss during shampoo and afterwards was less than a quarter-size of hair. Unfreaking believable! I followed shampoo with the Camille Rose Algae deep conditioner and leave in moisture milk. My hair is like it was when I was younger, smooth, frizz free, moisturized, tangle-free. I didn't even bother to blow dry. A highly recommend this product. It cleanses without stripping, moisturizes and detangles with minimal product.

Bad seller

I bought a Camille rose shampoo from here because it was the only that popped up. Upon arrival, the bottom of the shampoo was separated with something white. I’ve bought camille rose a couple of times before and I’ve never seen this. I am not really the type to complain but this is just odd. As a seller why would you mail something know its not in good condition? Are you asking for the bad reviews? I looked at the bottle and compared it to the other one I already had. There’s a difference in color, the pink is very light. I looked at the corner and it said 2018. Like you really just sent me a bottle from 2018?

Best Shampoo that I have ever used.

Currently this is the best shampoo that I have ever purchased. Have been using it for about 1 year now. It is able to clarify my hair even though I use grease on my high porosity 4c hair. It is however also very moisturising and found that it does not tangle up my hair like most others shampoos do. I low-key can detangle my hair with this shampoo in my hair. I love love love this shampoo. Camille Rose is a wonderful product line that never misses for me.

Clean without drying

This product is effective for both me and my daughter. Both of us have curly hair that responds differently to different products. This is one of few products we can share. After using this my hair is bouncier and my curls are more defined without being weighed down. This helps clean my daughter’s scalp and roots well, especially after sports, without drying out her scalp or hair like many other products do. No need to sacrifice cleanliness for moisture or the other way around with this product.

Gentle clarifying cleansing shampoo.

I have Kinky curly hair and this is the first time I’ve tried a Camille rose product(I know I know it’s an OG in the natural community lol) I am truly impressed. I used this twice because I wanted to really see how it worked however even on the first cleanse my dry spots, flakes, and dandruff were cleaned and my scalp felt so light and airy. Usually clarifying shampoos are a hit or miss especially if you have an oily , or dry or sebhorreic dermatitis scalp (idk how to spell it) so not only did this shampoo clean my scalp but it left my hair so soft and it’s either one or the other for shampoos. I definitely will keep this in rotation and used this as my first cleanse then following it with a moisture based shampoo as I am rice water specifically. And the nozzle needs to become a STAPLE for shampoos I do not get shampoos without a nozzle anymore i am completely changed by it, I was considering dumping a precious shampoo into a twist nozzle bottle just because it’s that efficient! It got into the crevices of my scalp due to my high density and course strands sometimes i can’t get in there but the nozzle truly fixes that. Anyways definitely try it for yourself I think you will enjoy it. The smell out the bottle is really aromatic however it does not last on the hair so if you are sensitive to smells you don’t have to worry about that! 5/5!!!

Great clarifying shampoo! Low porosity, protein-sensitive friendly :)

This is a great CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. I would not recommend using it for a daily/weekly shampoo routine. You should be using a hydrating shampoo for that. Only use this when you feel that your hair needs to be deeply cleansed to remove product build-up WITHOUT stripping. This rinse delivers! I only use it once a month to reset my scalp and hair. As some others have recommended, I use this to cleanse my hair twice, followed by a hydrating shampoo once and finishing with a conditioner/deep conditioner treatment. Personally I like the scent and that it doesnt linger in your hair. Has great lather and detangling/slip properties also. 10/10 recommended if you have low porosity, dense hair.

THEY’VE BEEN SHEA MOISTURED!!!!

I loved this shampoo for the moisture and how soft it always left my hair. It’s upsetting to say but after today I will no longer be using this product. Today was wash day and I immediately noticed a difference. My hair was matting at the touch. I tried to detangle and keep my hair stretched as much as possible to keep it from matting but nothing helped. I realized it was best to just rinse it out which took forever bc it didn’t seem to rinse out well (not something that usually happens). My hair felt dry and brittle before I even washed it out. It was even worse when rinsed. My hair kept tangling as if it had a mind of its own and I ended up with 3 huge chunky knots (dreads really). I checked the bottle and compared it to an old one and it angers me to see that they may have been Shea Moistured as well because the formula was no where near the same. I should’ve knew something was wrong when I noticed the color change and how clear it was. This is the 3rd time since I’ve gone natural where I have to search for a new company that caters to my 4c hair because the previous brand that did it well is changing formulas either for cost effective reasons or to include the looser curl types (2b-3c). I’d rather a brand that won’t switch up on me, thanks!

waxy feeling while washing, left hair dry

first, let me say, I have fine/thin/wavy hair, one section of my hair is very curly, and the rest is textured/ wavy. I was hoping for this to work, I purchased the Ginger shampoo with the Moroccan Pear Conditioning Custard, the ingredients are curly girl-approved and sound very healthy, although the shampoo does have Clarifying Ingredients and castor oil which can cause build-up, The conditioner does have Glycerin (if that's something you're trying to avoid) but I still wanted to give it a try. The shampoo smell was a very faint ginger smell, which was great because I am very sensitive to scents, however, the feel of the shampoo in my hair did not feel good at all, it felt like a rich oil and waxy feeling, no matter how much I rinsed it felt like the waxy feel would ... Morefirst, let me say, I have fine/thin/wavy hair, one section of my hair is very curly, and the rest is textured/ wavy. This might be good for someone that has very curly hair or oily hair, but for someone with fine/thin/ hair that tends to be on the drier side, this may not work for you. I will not purchase again, and Thank You Target for refunding me.
