Although it says Professional on the side, it is definitely not a professional machine, more a very good semi-professional one.If you are used to a Singer Tradition or other entry level machine, this thing will be a game changer for you. My wife produces five times faster, more pro looking and it saves you miles of threads per year because of the auto scissors function. Highly recommend it if you can get it under € 600,-. Above that there are better options out there.

This is my first Singer sewing machine, for the past 55 years I’ve only bought Brother machines. I’m so pleased that I made the change and bought this SingerI so enjoying getting to know it and all that it can do and best of all it’s so easy and straightforward.

I deliberated for some time before upgrading but the C430 has met all expectations and the variety of fonts is an added bonus. It has reignited my love of sewing and I’ve not stopped making since. Love it!

I am loving my new C430, it has an impressive range of stitch functions and the thread cutter is an absolute boon. I am an experienced sewer but this is majority computerised and I am still learning all the functions. I would highly recommend this machine, it sews beautifully but you will need to print off some of the manual or have it open on a tablet or phone whilst getting used to the different settings.
The C430 is my dream machine. Love it, would recommend easy to follow. My only let down is No Manual, you have to download. I tried doing this but it was giving me three languages, which totalled 108 pages which is a lot of ink. I downloaded it as a pdf and have to look on my tablet which isn't ideal. Otherwise perfect.
The machine is quite good good, I have used it for a lot of purposes. But why on earth is it not possible to adjust the presser foot pressure?
I am a very experienced sewer and have had Singer. I bought this because I gave my One plus machine to my daughter and I wanted the scissor and locking options this has. I am very pleased with stitch quality and range (it is very fussy about bobbins though!). My only issue is that it has been a struggle to learn how to use it and I don't think I have fully explored and mastered all the options even after 12 months of regular use. In the end I had to print the pdf to keep next to my machine for easy reference. It would be useful if it was in sections by language so you could just print by range. I had to print the whole thing and then discard 2/3rds! I would recommend but only for someone with confidence.
I LOVE IT!!! Such a change from my old machine. I can't believe how much better my sewing is! Makes me feel more confident in my sewing and ready to try new techniques and projects which this machine is more than able to do. Thank you Singer.
I ordered this machine having bought one for my daughter for Christmas. What a fabulous machine!! I can't recommend it highly enough. Massive amount of different stitches with alphabets, automatic buttonholes and sewing on of buttons. I still love my old Bernina machine, but the C430 can do sooo much more. Great value, fast delivery, helpful staff. I couldn't have asked for better service either.
After thinking about replacing my 1981 Singer Serenade for a long time, I decided upon another Singer machine, the Professional C430, and I haven’t been disappointed. It is easy to work with, heavy duty for all those difficult jobs, and skims through the lighter materials smoothly. I haven’t been a big fan of a lot of functions before, but I am enjoying trying them all out and implementing them into new projects. Thank you Singer Outlet for your invaluable help in the purchase of this machine and your excellent follow up, it’s been a pleasure dealing with such a good company.
