This lip scrub is absolutely phenomenal! I love that it uses repurposed coffee grounds, and the scent is absolutely craveable. It's the perfect coffee/chocolate blend, it's one of those scents that makes me feel all warm, cozy, and happy, like walking into my favorite coffee shop. The grit/moisture ratio is well done, its an effective scrub for removing dead & dry skin, and leaves my lips hydrated because of the moisturizing ingredients. This scrub has earned a place in my permenant collection, its a total holy grail!

I could definitely tell a difference in my lip texture after just one use, but have to use consistently for long lasting results. I hesitated so much with purchasing this because I'm cheap, but it is definitely worth it. I struggle with constant dry lips no matter how much chapstick I use. Some people complained about the odor/taste but those reviews are dramatic. It is not nearly as strong as people have said it is. I have found coffee grounds between my teeth long after use though, so I have learned to check that before talking to my husband so I don't look like an idiot.

I paired it with a lip scrubber. It was difficult to get the product out of the lip scrubber though, so I will use alone next time. Has a pleasant coffee-chocolatey scent. Thick and moisturizing. Seems like it may last longer than I originally thought, BUT price point is still too high.

I am really happy I tried Burt's Bees Conditioning Mocha Lip Scrub. This stuff is awesome! It feels like a massage for my lips. This exfoliating scrub reminds me of the consistency of icing, and it smells great. It is easy to use, I just apply a small amount to my lips, massage it in with my fingertips and then wipe it off. My lips are left feeling soft and smooth. As with all Burt's Bees products, I feel good using it, not just because of how good it makes my lips feel, but this company doesn't do animal testing, and that is extremely important to me.
Y’all, this stuff is a DREAM. Let’s start with the smell, smells like a fresh brewed cup of coffee. And I am about it. (Also, I didn’t actually eat it. Though the smell alone could make you want to) Secondly, this makes my lips feel SO smooth. Pair it with some chapstick and my lips feel like actual heaven. With that being said, run don’t walk to get this product. Promise you won’t regret it ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This conditioning mocha lip scrub is packed with great ingredients to soothe dryness and lock in moisture. This exactly what I needed for exfoliating and hydrating my dry lips. It is easy to apply with a spatula, just fingers wouldn’t work. I apply it every other day as directed, that way I wake up with perfectly luscious, plump, and hydrated lips. The mocha flavor is great and a little bit goes a long way. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
This lip scrub uses "repurposed coffee grounds" (a bit of a hilarious description) and a mix of different oils and beeswax.Personally I don't think a lip scrub needs beeswax. Something about the blend here makes my lips feel like they need more moisture afterwards, but the wax seals them in. So I need to wipe off the wax and then put on another layer of vaseline/ lip mask.I only use this weekly, but I think it could be used more often. You barely need any product for it to work, and the coffee particles are nice and gentle. I've used scrubs where they can cut and feel super rough, and this one exfoliates without getting down to a sensitive layer.
Do not just randomly stick your finger in it, it's very easy to swipe out onto your finger and you will end up with too much if you aren't careful. It doesn't take very much to apply to your lips and it's easy to spread it on to scrub. It has the perfect amount of grit to it so it feels like it's actually removing some of that dry skin. It smells great, to me it was like a chocolate mocha scent. Don't try tasting it though because it definitely doesn't taste like mocha. After using this my lips felt way more smooth and softer than before hand.
I was given this as a gift. Was super excited to try - I <3 BB. The directions say to “apply scrub to lip, wipe off excess, use several times a week. The smell is nice. Texture VERY sticky. Scrub wasn’t ver effective. The base had a tint that colored the skin around my lips so I looked like a psycho clown. So I tried to wash off the scrub - this stuff is waterproof. I couldn’t wipe it, it was so sticky it tore the tissue. I had to wash my face again w soap and water. Just left my lips feeling sticky and covered is tiny pieces of tissue.
I really like this Burt’s Bees Conditioning Mocha Lip Scrub. It has a good consistency, it’s not too coarse or watery. It seems to have just enough exfoliating beads in it. It smells and tastes like coffee. I don’t lick my lips while this is on them, but I can taste that coffee flavor. It is coarse, but also has oils in it so it’s softening at the same time. The oils also make it easier to rub the scrub onto my lips. I just take a little bit with my finger then rub it over my lips and then wipe it off. My lips feel smoother afterwards. I like the packaging, it’s a glass jar and nice sturdy lid. I like that it uses natural ingredients and is cruelty free as well which is important. I would recommend it.
