Still very new to this machine as it's my first one. Have used it for large embroidered letters which looks very good. Also for making (made with love) labels for G/Children clothes. Also a small applique. Am still learning and can see that there is a lot to get through. All in all a very good machine and very pleased with it.

I am a few months into using the Brother NV880E Embroidery Machine and i must say i am loving it. I highly recommend this machine for those just starting off in embroidery as it is a very user friendly machine. With this being my first embroidery machine i found the features such as the help buttons extremely helpful. If i was ever confused with anything I would go back and see how to do it using this feature. I love that this machine came with different hoop sizes, it made the experience much better as i wasn't having to find different hoops and sizes. This was quite frustrating as it was only a new machine and i had not saved any files. To add to my frustration I had not seen any alternatives to solving this issue on the brother website and paperwork that came with it. While I did love the machine this problem became more frequent with the other designs I tried to upload, I knew that it wasn't the files because they were all PES and were compatible with the machine. I then took it to the internet and tried to see if others were having the same problem and because this is a new model there were very few post or videos about it. It wasn't until i found a video on youtube where this lady was encountering this same issue with the same embroidery machine. Thank God i found her video because i was pretty close to getting in contact with the echidna staff and asking to change my machine. What she was basically saying that when you upload your file onto the machine, you press the add option on the screen, you press the letters (where you can write a name or add words) and instead of writing a name you just add in a full stop (the symbol . ), at least that's what i have been doing before pressing embroider. The full stop symbol will be added in last to the design but the machine stops to let you know that it is coming up as it requires a change of thread. Occasionally the message 'not enough storage available' will pop up but i would just repeat the process. Ever since then it has been smooth sailing and i can honestly say that I love this machine. I don't mean to be a downer about this problem but i just want people to be aware that this issue might arise and a solution is there for them.Overall, I do not regret my purchase at all and am super excited to create more designs. I got my machine 2 months ago, it is in for repair already, (2nd time). The thread is shredding, worked great until then. Waiting to hear if it can be repaired, and I’m not certain if I have to pay for repair.
Unboxed the new 880E and embroidered a towel within a few minutes
Fantastic beginner machine for embroidery, comes with multiple hoops and super easy to get started. The new feature of the LED pointer makes it easy to line up perfectly with lots of different items. Always love the basting stitch so I can float my towels and blankets as well!
Oooh gosh....it is something which I can definitely grow into (and that is a VERY GOOD thing). Service and care by Echidna Sewing is better than world's best - no wonder this is my second machine purchase from Echidna Sewing.

I have waited so long to own an embroidery machine… And Brother deliver!The staff from a Echidna were phenomenal with the service, despite delays that they could not control… Due to Covid and all the craziness in the world right now. They kept me informed the whole way, and even stayed a little after closing so that, while affected with Covid myself, my dear mum could collect my machine for me.I’ve had this machine for just over two weeks now… And I don’t think a day has gone past that I haven’t used it. The simplicity of usage is amazing and the software that came with the extra package was well worth the money. I am so in love with The capabilities of this machine and look forward to many years of creating beautiful things for my grandchildren… The first whom ... I had previously purchased the brother nv180 as I always wanted to do embroidery and I loved this machine it was perfect to start with and then I saw the new brother nv880e which was coming out I love this machine I can do so much more that the other machine even though I still use the other machine. I love the fact it doesnt drag the stitch across and it cuts as it goes. I do find some embroidery patterns depending on where you get them from are not as clear as others which is something I am learning as I go. I have done so much with this machine I just love it would highly recommend it if you are starting out and want more flexibility. The staff at Echidna are wonderful they kept me up to date with my purchase and let me know when it was coming. I love the fact ...
