Breville is my preferred brand for Kitchen appliances. I have the Smart Oven Air Fryer, Smart Oven Pro, Sandwich Toastie, Blender and Hand Mixer. My most recent purchase being the Smart Oven Air Fryer. My brother raves over his Air Fryer and I thought "why would you need an air fryer?" Oh my goodness mine is so quick and easy to use. It is brilliant as you can just line the enamel roasting pan with baking paper and sit it under the extra large air fry basket to catch any drips. When the oven cools simply wipe it out and keep it like new. The oven is so versatile. My cookies have been baking to perfection on the pizza tray. No need to heat up your kitchen with your big oven and so quick to come to temperature. Just absolutely love it. Good on you Breville!

This air-fryer is one of the best cooking appliances I have ever used. It has a very fast pre-heat time making it easy to bake and roast food I would otherwise have to put in the oven making the overall cooking time less and the experience much nicer. It has also been very useful as a healthy and quick alternative to deep frying. The taste and texture is arguably even better! I have made air fried chicken, potato chips and loaded potato wedges all with my dad. They all are wonderful and easy to make. The toast function is useful as a replacement for a toaster which is now quite redundant in our kitchen. The reheat function also allows for easy quick breakfasts of dinner leftovers. Cookies and other small baked goods also worked out great.

I discovered this product again after seeing similar a couple of years ago. With Covid ‘hopefully’ in the past, I ventured out and found this even better version!m. It bakes and roasts, cooks crumpets and toasts, plus of course air fry… AND slow cooks! The keep warm function is so handy while my other dishes cook. I think I’m in love! My 91-year-old Nana even asked me to show her how to use it and she doesn’t usually like new things, so that’s definitely saying something. It’s the easiest appliance I have used in a long time. I still have my 25-year-old Breville Big Loaf Bread Machine, and I won’t be changing to a different brand any time soon. Can’t beat Breville’s quality.

I bought this Smart Oven Air Fryer because my daughter is Smart and claimed my original Breville bench top oven when she FINALLY moved out. I bought the original one because my landlord took forever to fix the burnt out oven. If it was swiftly fixed though, I wouldn’t have discovered these amazing ovens. I don’t even bother using the house oven anymore because there’s no use, this oven fulfills my every need. It bakes beautifully, produces perfect pizzas and even toasts terrifically. The Air Fryer just takes it to another level! I’ve always bought Breville and will continue to do so because I know their quality is outstanding. Their 90 year history of impeccable products and service is second to none! Highly recommend!!

Purchased 1 month ago and I could have purchased a much cheaper basket style air fryer with the heating element above the food, to go with my current one that is limited in its ability with its rotating arm that turns the food (I’m talking to you tefal actifry, and I still love you) but was convinced this was the product of the century. It’s not. I think breville simply decided to jump on the air fry bandwagon and call their fan forced oven an air fryer. It is slow, cooks unevenly, by the time something resembles being fried, it is overcooked. The toasting function is rubbish. By the extremely long time anything is toasted, what is left is as hard as a rock, and hardly even hot. And the way it vents the steam is just an extremely poor design, with it coming out from ... We tested at home first and I cooked everything from cakes, roasts, pizza to frozen fish and chips; it has exceeded our expectations.I did read the reviews prior to buying it and noted that cleaning was an issue. It stops splatter and retains flavour.- use a vegetable spray (canola) in the air fryer basket prior to putting in items, then spray items lightly. Then we knew that that is a problem that the Smart Ovens have.In conclusion, we are still happy with the oven and its performance. So we decided to return the new oven to Myer and keep the one from Amazon. However, is quite annoying the high frequency sound (even for our doggies). Every time that we use it, we have to turn it on and off as soon as it has finished.I hope you read my review and check this failure. Our main oven in our kitchen stopped working. I couldn’t do without one so bought this. OMG !!!! This is absolutely hands down the best purchase I have made in a VERY loooooong time.I don’t think I will ever use my main house oven again.It’s compact yet for my husband and I it’s perfect. Baked banana bread, family sized lasagna, large quiche, roast vegi’s to perfection 👌It’s very easy to use, heats up very quickly. And what’s more we can take it away with us in the caravan.Hubby said it uses half the power of our conventional house oven so cheaper power bills. Win win 🥳My parents were so impressed they are going to buy one too.
