I stopped taking my digestive probiotic in order to give Mirafiber Gummies at fair chance. The directions indicate that you should take 4 gummies daily. There are only 72 gummies in a gigantic plastic bottle. 18 days worth at the proscribed dosage did not seem like a meaningful amount, nor did the large amount of plastic used seem justified. I decided to start with 2 only, after reading about some of the side effects like gas, bloating, and stomach upset. Right off the bat, I did not care for the slight smell when I opened the bottle. The gummies are on the large size and easy to chew, and while fruit forward and not terrible, they had an underlying taste that was a bit off-putting. The first day I took them (2 gummies), I had some stomach discomfort, but it was impossible to distinguish it from my regular stomach issues, so I ignored it. The second day (still 2 gummies) my intestinal system felt terrible for at least an hour, with pains like cramps, discomfort, and eventually diarrhea. And this was on a half dose. Needless to say, I stopped taking these. They are not for me. Maybe I’ll save the rest for when I need a serious cleanse. Or not.

Over the course of taking these gummies, I definitely saw improvement the gut problems I was experiencing. I didn’t have any side effects at all but be warned as your gut regulates so does you going to the bathroom. I think due to the intake of fiber I was getting with the gummies I saw less bloating and more consistent bowel movements. I always had problems with getting my daily fiber through foods so I think this is a nice supplement to take when you’re not meeting those requirements. However, I don’t think you should strictly rely on these gummies to get everything that you need to promote gut health. Arrived BROKEN 😞

Extremely sad - just got our new machine yesterday and it’s not working (water pump not working). We spent HOURS on Reddit and YT trying to get this to work with no luck. Support was not understanding, and said that this was a old machine from 2022 which we’re really confused about 😭 We tried the ballon method, straw blowing method, upside down method, warm water sitting method, removing and replacing tank method, etc. We still haven’t got our return label so we can exchange this machine for a new one. We followed all the directions sent and more… this is a very well known issue with these machines and instead of giving us a solution support asked as to do all the things we already did…. Beyond disappointed with the new Pixie

I have been an espresso customer for 12 years. I bought my Pixie about 11 years ago and it worked great! After spending hours on the phone with a rep and doing a video chat we were not able to fix the problem. Apparently it has an internal clog but given the age of the machine I was very satisfied with its longevity. I told the rep I wanted to replace it with the same machine and was even given a 25% discount.When I received my new machine I noticed a few changes from my old one. I guess I received version 2 of the model.Immediately after taking it out of the box and setting it up I realized the water reservoir pops off when I open the lid to put water in. I was verbally told the credit could be used for a coffee or a machine. The customer service rep had to put me on hold numerous numerous numerous times to try to find answers to my questions. All I wanted to know was did I receive a defective machine or was the new model truly made this way. I never got an answer. I am so beyond disappointed Nespresso. 😞The rep finally agreed to give me my credit back on my credit card. Currently I'm using my "travel" machine that is 12 years old and works fine. She even mentioned the good ratings for this machine so I reviewed them and noticed the 1 and 2 star ratings have been within the last year. I hope nespresso takes notice. At some point I will have to make a decision of what type of coffee I will use going forward. It's so sad because I fell in love with the product.

Efficiency in a small footprint

We wanted a machine so we could indulge in our treats of lattes without sacrificing for quality. We also have a frothing machine we really enjoy allowing us to make a rich foam as well as just heated milk, so any machine involving a frothing feature would be a waste in our opinion. My husband also likes the convenience of pods for his coffee grounds so this machine was ticking all the boxes. Convenient, high review ratings for ease of use and end product quality, and is small so not a counter space hog. Then the icing on the cake was when I located this machine I found it on sale at a location near me. I simply ordered it online and picked it up the next afternoon. Have been loving the machine and the lattes ever since!

Old is Better

I am reviewing an old Pixie. Mine works like a charm. I find that some of the capsules can get stuck and explode. After about 9 years this started happening so it has nothing to do with me. I use only the short button for espresso and the long for running the rest of the water through to clean after use. I have descaled from time to time. Getting back to the water-I refrigerate the tank half full each night then have two or three capsules in the morning. Repeat. Parts can wear out of course. But this is the only machine that takes time to heat the water. This is all key to a good short espresso using the stronger capsules. The smaller machines I’ve had and used are not as good.

PIXIE FOREVER IN RED🌹

I bought the pixie the red pixie when Nespresso first came out. I’m not sure how long ago that was but I know it was well before 2015. I also purchased the frother in red to match. I have never once had a problem with this machine; it’s fantastic and from what I’m reading about other machines, it seems to be the best one that you’ve ever made, I’m disappointed that I can’t replace the red frother that stopped working because you don’t make it anymore. I wish you did. I bet other people would like it in red too. It looks so so cute and wow, is it easy to use and the capsules they’re incredible. I found them now in Nepresso Starbucks Italian roast so I now buy them from Amazon. I wish Nespresso would carry those as well. I would buy them directly from you. I had three of these original pixie machines. One for my office, one for my home, and one for travel. I probably pour 4 cups of espresso daily between myself and my co-workers. Unfortunately two of the machines died and it was impossible to fix them. I went all over Nespresso and online checking the videos, taking portions of the machine and changing them, but one of leaked and would never stop leaking and had to be thrown away. The other one just stopped suddenly, it would light but then nothing would happen, and the price of getting it refurbished was more than it was worth.Also, I was fanatical about following the cleaning directions, using nespresso's own goods and instructions, but other drawback I found with these machines was that they are really difficult ... MoreI had three of these original pixie machines. Despite using the Nespresso descaling and cleaners, along with a toothbrush to get the area right around the rim and inside, the coffee would taste muddy within a month of use. That was with using Nespresso capsules.I have a little essenza that I'm using now when I travel and we'll see how that works out. So far so good. But I have to say that for the price I paid for these pixies, they have been a disappointment. Two out of three is not a great record. One of them was under 3 years old, one was two and a half years old, and one was four years old.

The Best Value Nespresso Machine

After 10 years of owning a Nespresso Pixie, I took advantage of a recent sale at Canadian Tire and purchased anew one. This model is definitely quieter when operating. I have owned 2 Nespresso Vertuo machines, one died andI disposed of the Vertuo Next when we moved into a small condo - Vertuo machines are just too big for smaller counter spaces and theVertuo Next is awkward and clunky for my liking. Of all the Nespresso machines, the Pixie is the best and most flexible. The Brevillebrand is manufactured in Switzerland. The coffee service from Nespresso Canada is great and there are other brandsavailable at grocery stores of Nespresso-type capsules. The coffee made in this machine tastes great as always.
