Breeder Celect Cat Litter, 30L

I’m trying to change my cats litter from tofu litter to recycled paper litter. I mixed some recycled paper litter to their tofu litter. It seem that not too difficult for them to accept. The recycled litter doesn’t have strong smell and less powdery. It is soft on the cat paws. Highly absorbent pellets too.

Best cat litter I've used

so easy to use and my cat has no problems and uses it with ease. I've tried all others and this ones the best. And it's super eco-friendly. All recycled! It's quite expensive mind but it's still my favourite to use over the normal stuff or wooden pellets. My cat was weeing in the house before we got this and since we starting using this litter with a hooded litter tray and clean it out every 3 days or so we have had no accidents since. It's lightweight, soft and gentle on her paws. I use one large bag a month and I wouldn't use any other brand or type now.The only thing that is slightly annoying is that it's so expensive as I go through alot as my cat won't/ doesn't go outside. (All my others do) bur due to its excellent quality I don't mind paying more than the ... Moreso easy to use and my cat has no problems and uses it with ease. This is the small price to pay with using cardboard packaging but it helps the planet Rather than plastic therefore a win win.Would recommend this product to others definitely.

Breeder celect changes ruin it

This cat litter has been changed recently, it was more of a pellet but now is much more like the animal bedding done by the same company, it's now more of a squashed / crushed like pellet , this also makes it much much more dusty . It also doesn't seem to absorb as good nor does it seem to keep the smell down like it used to do , the changes aren't for the better at all unfortunately . Also the 30ltr sack has also gone up in price over the last year by about £4 . I'm looking around for a cat litter I can change to because I now feel with the price increase and the change of the pellet to a more crushed like mess it isn't as good a value or product as it was . Doesn't tred but doesn't take care of smell.

I gave this two stars fir tge fact that it doesn't turn to dust and tred throughout the house like wood based cat litters do but that is the only good thing about it. After a day and a half I found that the smell of wee was coming from the litter and it needed to be changed. with woodbased litter I do a full change every 3 days. My cat is old and does wee a lot but I never had the smell issue with his previous wood based litter so quickly. If you do a full change if the litter box evey other day this litter will be fine for you by at ?8 for 10L you will go through quite a lot of money. it's great tgat there is less mess from the dust but they really do need to work on making it longer lasting before the smell of wee hits down.

Excellent cat litter

Started using this when Ecograin litter became unavailable. It is very good. Our two cats use this happily. It is light, made of recycled paper. Being light, a few bits of litter can get walked out of the tray; this isn't a big problem and can be reduced by getting a tray with a lip or hood. Easily swept up with brush and pan. The litter makes good compost in a home composter (remove cat faeces first; these can go in garden). It doesn't smell. Overall, this is an excellent cat litter. Recommended.

It's pretty much dust free, and our cat who has allergies has never had an issue.We have two male cats and clean out the litter trays once a day. We've never had an issue with the smell.Also it doesn't dissolve and make a mess in our long-haired cat's fur.Recently they seem to have changed the product slightly, so we contacted the manufacturer, who said:'At Fibrecycle we are always looking for ways to make our products better. We recently made a slight change to our Breeder Celect pellets, and they are now slightly flatter. It stinks

Okay. so most cat litter smells awful: either of some manufacturer's 'fragrance' or the cat's own. The only way to keep this fresh at all is to completely replace the litter every couple of days,so it's not economical. The cat likes it,though. She prefers it to going outside (another reason why it's more costly!). Other reviewers say it doesn't get spread around the house: this is not my experience. Strangely. this used to be my favourite. I'm not sure what's changed.

No odour control

I swapped to this because we were using a more expensive brand and thought we'd save a bit of money. Also the other brand we were using had much smaller pellets and they used to get everywhere!Although this product is dust free and has much bigger pellets, it has absolutely no odour control. 1 day of wees (which is hard to pick out with a scoop cos it's non-clumping) and the whole house smells of ammonia.Changing the litter and the smell is so strong it's like putting on hair dye!Will have to swap back to the more expensive brand I think!

Swapped from catsan to this

Hi, i was very hesitant despite the older good reviews - as i had cheaper cat litter than catsan before and been really disappointed with the litter sticking to the tray or just generally being useless re deodorising or so much dust u almost needed a dust mask changing the litter trays - but pleased i did swap to this product from catsan largely because catsan kept putting their price up and up and up and at one point nearly double what they were a yr ago.. and with. this product the cats like it, a bit goes a long way, doesnt hurt as much as wood pellets if u step on it !! and no dust, only downside is it smells a bit more than catsan - or maybe thats my cats not burying it as well in this litter !
