I've been purchasing Bragg's for years and they've always been consistent. They will always have customer in me and my family. Bragg organic extra virgin olive oil is minimally processed (cold pressed, unfiltered) from Koroneiki olives (highest Greek olives in polyphenols) and is very nutritious any way you consume it. This also comes in dark green glass container (see photo, different than website) which protects the olive oil from light. I'm not a taster, but this tastes fine to me and has a very fair price.

I'm Greek...this is average olive oil. Really good Greek olive oil has a very slight ""burn", for lack of a better word, in the back of the throat as it goes down. It's darker.... It will also have a stronger taste AND smell. It's just richer. This oil, to me, is more of a drizzle oil. It's not a serious Greek olive oil. It was also a major pain to open!
So far the olive oil still seems to be good since the company has changed hands. However there's much better Apple Cider Vinegar out there that HASN'T been watered down. We used to buy only Braggs ACV and recommended it to everyone we met, but now that they're adding water to it we will no longer be spending our hard earned money on this brand.
The gallon that I order was from the previous years harvest. The shelf life of olive oil is 12-18 months from harvest date although the expiration in dated for late 2014. Also, they will not say whether the olives are locally sourced from the island of Crete, or it they come from another source. Where is the transparency?
This is a very high quality extra virgin olive oil. Not only is it organically grown but it is also Greek which means that it is very high in antioxidants and phytonutrients compared with EVOO from other countries. I store it in the refrigerator and it hardens up after a day or two, just like it is supposed to. The price for this very high quality product at Walmart is outstanding! I'm a believer!
Sublime. Deep rich green color and wonderful aroma. I have been drizzling it on everything in order to reap the health benefits. This will never see any heat in a skillet and I will be reordering for sure. SO HAPPY I ORDERED THE GALLON SIZE!
I have always loved Braggs products but have only bought them in smaller containers which have been the sizes available in my area. SoRecently I went online in search of a gallon size olive oil with all of the qualities of my favorite of olive oils, Braggs, and up it popped as well as other favorite Braggs products which I also use; also in gallon sizes. The quality, flavor and versatility of this healthy and 'organically right' oil is what I love the most! I use it for every thing! Thank you!!!
since we were in greece years ago and never forgot the olive oil we had on Santorini. have looked for an olive oil that matches it. just tried a sample of this one. it's the closest to Santorini i've tried. buying the big bottle now :)
