Brabantia Built-in Bin Rectangular Black | 10L

This is a great little bin and by removing a shelf under the sink, it sits neatly on the inside of the cupboard door so nicely hidden away. It is a bit on the small side; I was used to a bin twice the size but there's no space in my new flat. I also bought the Brabantia 10/12L bin liners which fit perfectly. My only gripe is that the description says 'folding lid'; I don't know what their idea of a folding lid is but on my bin the lid is solid and doesn't fold. In fact there's nothing to open the lid, no pedal or anything, so freestanding or fitted I'm afraid it's 'open the lid by hand' every time. That's why I've deducted a star; the description is incorrect. Other colours would have been nice too but otherwise it's perfect for it's purpose.

... except it isn't a tin! It's a great little bin!Simple to install (only 3 screws) and fits so well on a small 300mm door, I'm thinking of getting another for the other door to use as a recycling bin.Handy that the lid stays up, so I can wipe from the work surface straight into it! Just wish Brabantia did a white version.Be careful as I found the price range for this bin really varies - Well done Dunelm for being at the better end of the price scale :)

I had been looking for a while and this is ideal. Even though the lid doesn't open with the door, it's not an issue. The lid stays up, out of the way, giving you the maximum space into which to empty your rubbish. Very easy to empty and clean.Note that you will need to check the door thickness. We have a door that has a recessed panel effect, which is the thinnest part of the door. To ensure that the screws did not come through the door, my husband used washers to act as spacers.
