Quick and awesome service from Rubber Monkey :)First E ink tablet and definitely alot less strain on the eyes when reading books and comics.The ghosting on this tablet is actually not as bad I thought it would be, and easy to refresh the page to get rid of them if it bothers you. Once I got used to the ghosting I didnt even bother or need to refresh.The colors on this tablet brings back memory from reading comics in the old days in actual paper :)I can also take this to work to take notes and learning with it too which is awesome.Looking forward to the next version while I enjoy this one!

ereader GHOSTING! Even on black & white text it's PAINFUL. Built in enotes writes well, have not tried exporting, very nice use of COLOUR PENS for notes. Takes a white to start up so have to WAIT when inspiration strikes, good for expected meeting notes.

There are plenty of long reviews of this device so I will keep to a few specifics. Firstly it is worth saying this is not a normal colour tablet, it is not a normal eInk ereader. It is slower than a tablet and it does not have a screen that comes anywhere near to the colour display of a tablet or the contrast of a normal ereader but it does have a screen that allows reading material when in sunlight with colour making it almost unique.. BUT it is not the best device to use as a simple ereader for books. There are a few reasons quoted but the most important is is because the screen is very dark unless there is a lot of ambient light so the front light has to be used when inside (but I use a normal tablet inside !). So in summary the device allows me to do something I could not do before which is read in the sun ! The colour means that instead of shades of grey in a normal einkdisplay there are colour contrasts making it much easier to read magazines, newspapers, web based material it does nothing to help reading a book !!!!

I'm very happy with this product. It is compact and light, works well, and the battery lasts very well. Getting the play store to work to a little time waiting for the confirmation to come through, but once done there are so many great apps that can be installed. I use this to read books I have with boox but also with three other ebook stores I used over the years. The screen is clear and colourful, I find I need to leave the front light active at a low level, but even with this the battery performance is great. The included poem works well for note taking or sketching, and the results can by sent to various cloud storage providers as pdf. Very happy overall, would buy again.
Screen is way too small to be viable for note-taking. Returning for a Max Lumi 13.3" Boox or a SuperNote aX5 instead.
Basically, it's an Android tablet which you can read in sunlight. Very useful if you like to be outside. The value is in that readability. Otherwise buy a normal OLED tablet.
Great for reading comic books and pdf's.
Loving the Boox Nova 3 so far, only downside seems to be the lack of covers or cases for it. I've bought the two I could find, neither are ideal (one is a sleeve with stylus holder, other is folding 'book style' hard cover that covers the power button a bit and doesn't have a stylus holder.) I got my Boox Nova 3 for 269, haven't seen it for less than that so far.
Great product! Flexible usage and nothing beats e-ink screens for reading and note taking. Love it! It took a little bit of tinkering to get Google Play to work, beyond this: easiest writable device out there.
I have been using it for 6 months to take notes (text, drawing, etc) of meeting / projects, and backup them as pdf on an external server.Too many bugs that make that only parts of the notes are recorded in the pdf, that a file get empty....Not reliable
