We owned one of these for years and finally broke it. Replaced it with a unit from an expensive national chain and after two months we were in search of another Bodum. The function is excellent and the quality is superb.
After a number of grinders had failed the test of family life, I found this design about 2 years ago, combining salt and pepper in one neatly designed container. No batteries, no lights no gimmicks. Just a well designed, high quality product. This is my second one; because I dropped the first one and had to replace it. Highly recommended.
Nifty manual salt and pepper grinder. It's a handy size, easy to use, looks appealing, and is well designed. It even came filled with salt and pepper, and ready to go, which was a real bonus. Great product - highly recommended!
This grinder looks great, works fantastically and takes minimal space. Having both the salt and pepper grinder in one is great ... especially if you have a habit of misplacing one or the other every now and then. It also feels great to use, giving me exactly the right amount of seasoning.
Had the previous model which was not only incredibly functional and a constant source of guest enquiries, but also lasted 12 years before finally the salt side stopped working. Bought this slightly revised more contemporary design and just as brilliant. Love it. And so glad I could buy the same again!
I have tried so many salt & pepper grinders over the years even the battery types .. some have been ok & others not so good particularly the powered ones. To have both salt & pepper in one compact unit is so convenient & the appearance & quality is very good. It is so very easy to use & I get very favourable comments from our friends.
Works well for pepper and salt, doesn't grind my gears so far
