For this brand I expected so much more. The first one I ordered arrived with the plunder chipped, sent it back. The replacement one didn't have the steel edge at the bottom evenly crimped. I gave up and kept it. (Again for this brand they shouldn't have been defective.) Finally, when I got to use it I was frustrated because somehow coarse coffee grounds do float out from behind the filter. I have tried to trouble shoot this but it keeps happening. Coffee is correctly ground for a french press; water level is correct; I don't move the plunger once it's down; I make sure grounds don't stick to the rim when scooping it in--but still I drink grounds. :( On the flip side, the coffee stays very hot. Oh and you have to add cream and sugar when you add the hot water, weird, ... MoreFor this brand I expected so much more. The first one I ordered arrived with the plunder chipped, sent it back. I’ve been extremely happy with it his product and purchased 3 of them. They’re easy to clean and they don’t contain any tricky crevices or areas for hot drinks to collect, so they don’t get an odour over time. Hot drinks stay warm for many hours. Not 100% spill-proof but close to it. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent travel mug. I’m a teacher and it keeps my hot drink warm for hours. Subsequently I’ve purchased them as gifts. Cleans easily, no smell build up over time (I’ve had mine for 3 years now). The mouth piece does have some lipstick staining which has been hard to budge but overall not a big deal. Great value.

This us like our 8th purchase of the same model but in different colours. Our family cannot leave the house without this. However, it’s not suitable if you want to put it in your bag rolling around. There will be some leaks from the top of the lid.
I favour these Bodum mugs because they're made from thermosetting plastic, so won't interact chemically with the coffee in the way that thermoplastic travel mugs do. And they don't have that unpleasant metal taste you get when you drink from the metal ones. They have a good lifespan and don't leak.
This is my fourth Boden Travel Mug. I love them but the flip open drinking seal isn't leak proof so be careful to stand the mug up when carrying it about. Good quality and keeps a hot drink warm enough for hours. Sadly the seal of the screw lid isn't long lasting so liquid starts to spill out between the lid and the main body when you try to drink out of the drinking spout. It isn't possible to screw the lid tighter without the lid starting to spin and the rubber band seal doesn't work. The size is great and fits every cup holder I have tried. It would be nice if Boden supplied a space rubber band seal so I can use the Travel Mug for longer.
I am buying two more of these mugs, I like the lip, it feels like drinking out of a regular mug. I use them everyday and chuck them in the dishwasher too (probably not supposed to!). The two I already have lasted a really long time, the lid is still perfect on both, the cup on one has now bowed slightly on the bottom and the other one has separated at the join so allows water in between when I wash it. Time for two new ones :)
How many travel mugs have you bought that just let you down, don,t seal properly, let your drinks go cold in 1/2 an hour and are probably an impulse buy from a garage promotion when you,re filling up your car. Well you kinda get what you pay for because if you upgrade to one of these Bodum Vacuum Travel mugs you'll never want another. They are certainly not cheap at nearly 14 but they "do exactly what is says on the tin".......which is where they are such good value. They are double walled stainless steel that keeps drinks hot or ice cold for up to 2 hours with a nice logo on the rubber sleeve to hold onto it and they don't just seal with the hinged click cap, you will probably get away with knocking it over without spilling a drop because the top screws down ... MoreHow many travel mugs have you bought that just let you down, don,t seal properly, let your drinks go cold in 1/2 an hour and are probably an impulse buy from a garage promotion when you,re filling up your car. I think i've said enough, ditch that rubbish old one and "Get New"
Excellent travel mug for hot and cold. I’ve ditched my smoothie cups and use these with a straw in it. Keeps drinks hot or cold for hours. Completely leak proof when closed, I often throw a cup of chai in my bag when going on an adventure and it’s hot and my bag is dry. The drinking latch is comfortable to drink from. I own three of these cups!!
