I LOVE my French press!!! It gives such a robust, richer flavor to coffee. You can really taste and fell a difference. You can feel more of the coffee bean oils, and the depth and richness in flavor you get with this is not matched by any other method. It’s delicious. Deep, robust, mature, complex, rich, perfect.

Good but delicate. As other reviewers mentioned the glass beaker can come loose and be dropped, but this seems to be the standard design in French Press Coffee Makers. What I was looking for was a solid one with a good screen that wouldn't leave me with a coffee grind filled cup. Another requirement is that the press stays up on it's own and allows the coffee to brew without agitation. This one definitely does the job so far. I've used it every other day for a few weeks and the screen seems to be holding up well and the press stays up on it's own. I love the fact that the screen mount unscrews for easy cleaning. I highly recommend it.

I keep this in my dorm room and it is truly amazing. They are so simple to use and make the best tasting coffee. It makes 4 cups which I drink all of it each morning. Its perfect for one or two people. It makes coffee so smooth and tastes way better than any coffee machine. Bodum is a great brand and respected in the coffee industry. Highly reccomend

Ease of use with great strong coffee taste. A true classic and a great tool when there’s a storm and the electricity is out. Cleans quickly with handwashing.

A waste of money

We purchased this product thinking that we were going up market. It made good coffee but the locking mechanism for the top is a fiddle and cleaning is awkward. The glass slipped out while washing and it smashed although had not fallen far in the sink; the glass is very thin. We replaced the glass and the new one cracked 'on its own' within a month. We gave up and have returned to a simpler one. Happiness.

Best coffee maker

I have been using Bodum presses for a few years. I find the coffee to have that real fresh brewed flavor that is lacking with so many kcup type makers. There are no filters to buy and the clean up is easy with a rinse and toss out the door into a garden. There is nothing to not like!

Bodum French Press - SO SO!

Its a pretty French Press, and the galss canister is nice and thick, and the size is large for about 3 cups of large coffee (big mugs). However, the issue I find with it is trying to remove the top and puttin the back on . I have only been using it for a few days, so not sure if I will get used to it, but I can say for now, that getting the top on & off is challenging. It seems like the glass canister wants to come off as well during the process, which is not the best. It is just not a smooth process.
