Bodum Bistro Electric Burr Coffee Grinder. White

I use the Bodum coffee grinder daily and it works great! I prefer buying whole bean coffee and grinding it myself at home. The only thing I wish I could change about this product is how noisy it is when in use. Sometimes I would like to grind some coffee beans late at night or very early in the morning, but I feel like it would disturb others. However, it works very fast! This is a great product that I would definitely recommend to other coffee lovers.

Great replacement for old one that finally crapped out. I don’t know if it’s just me wanting to think this, but I believe it’s less noisy than my previous Krups brand. I use a French press and only make one or two cups a day. I don’t mind the unevenness of grounds. Might be a problem for those who drink espresso. Also may not be ideal for those wanting to grind enough for 6+ cups at one time.

I love this for an at home grinder. The design is simple and and it’s easy to use and it looks great on the counter. We use ours almost everyday for coffee as well as for whole spices and spice blends. Cleaning is very easy as well. After initially purchasing mine I’ve purchased it as a gift for a family member as well. Would definitely recommend.

This is definitely a luxury purchase which I do not regret one bit! It felt unnecessary and like a splurge but I really do love drinking coffee and it’s one of my favourite ways to start the day, so I felt it was a luxury that I deserved! So easy to use and gives you perfectly ground coffee every time without fail. Really love it! Perfect for yourself or a gift for a true coffee lover!

I’ll preface this by saying this is the only coffee grinder I’ve ever owned but having said that, I love it! I love that it comes in white and it looks so chic on my counter. Besides aesthetics it also works great! Occasionally the beans will grind unevenly but I think that comes with the territory with an electric grinder and it can be fixed by shaking it around and grinding a bit more. Very happy with it!

I love bodem products and I've been using them for years. Easy to clean, long lasting and a great price for good quality products. Travels well also as I've taken away with me and to work on occasion. Available in a variety of colours too so will match decor.

Consistent Grind

I wanted to switch from a blade grinder to a conical burr grinder for more consistency in my grinds. This unit is great. Having the glass grounds container helps with the static issue many complain about with grinders that have a plastic container. The only issue I have that kept this unit from getting 5 stars was the "soft touch" plastic coating on the hopper lid and body of the grinder. It had deteriorated from new condition and was now quick sticky to touch. It makes no difference to me as I put the unit against the wall and don't need to touch it other than the control knobs and buttons which do not have this coating. So I only come into contact with the sticky issue when handling the coffee hopper lid. Functionality over quality

I bought this grinder knowing it was not as good quality as for example my other Baratza grinder. However, I had chosen it because the person I bought it for as a present could really benefit from the grind timer, glass catcher and small footprint. And that’s exactly what it did, not the greatest quality, but it looks good, has a small footprint, convenient glass catcher and handy timer.Very good grinder for the ones that just want a simple fresh grounded coffee, but not as great for the ones more particular on their grind and coffee.

Good value grinder

The Bodum Bistro is an excellent grinder, superior to my old DeLonghi KG79.Watched a lot of videos looking for a reasonable priced good grinder, a lot of them talk about the difference a grinder makes to the flavour and extraction of coffee and was skeptical. The positive difference in the flavour using this grinder compare to my old DeLonghi is real and cannot be denied, same coffee same weight worlds apart in taste.For a low cost grinder I highly recommend it, easy to use and very clean as the cap on the grinds container seals against the outlet.

I'd buy again!

I grind about a single serve of coffee with this. I haven't tried all the grind settings, but semi coarse and semi fine grinds turned out pretty even. The grinder is easy to use and not too loud!
