I love love love baby carriers and only wish I'd started with my first. I got introduced to them with my 2nd and now 4 years later, I have done tons and tons of research and have several different carriers to suit different situations. This carrier has a really soft panel. It really hugs my baby as similarly to a wrap as you could get. The buckles are super easy to click on on your own and getting baby in or out is really simple and quick. My husband and I have swapped wearing it and it's really easy to do this. He's quite a bit bigger than me too. He really likes having baby in this carrier and the hood panels also helps support baby's head when she's asleep, especially when she was younger. The shoulder straps are cushioned too and the position of the baby in the carrier is just right for that ergonomic fit. I have also managed to breastfeed her in the carrier when needs must but I, personally, found it trickier and it's not an everyone occurrence. It totally depends on your own size, experience and also on baby's age and experience. My baby was 1 month old when I first got it whereas now at nearly 5 months she sits up more and grabs on like a bottle sometimes which helps. A big bonus is being able to machine wash it and then I just hang it over the radiator to dry. So so convenient because babies will inevitably be sick on it!So I've mainly done front carry but have back carried a few times. I'm not as confident putting her on my back and have struggled with the straps which is why more recently I have bought another carrier (a half buckle one) to add to my growing collection. Saying that, she much prefers being on my front for now and when she's older, I know this carrier will be absolutely amazing for her! I used a manduca before for my son when he was 2 and it's a similar style. It unsure, read reviews and watch YouTube videos like I did. The negatives:The straps can rub under the arm if you're not wearing a 3/4 or a long sleeved top. It didn't leave me sore but it annoyed me cos I felt it and it was uncomfortable. The straps and adjustments are really stiff when new. I have loosened the main straps I use to tighten baby when she's on and they're super easy to adjust but to adjust some of the less used ones I have to feed it through or really pull (this needs to be done with carrier off and obviously no baby).

This is my fourth baby, so I've had a few baby carriers. Some of the worst, and a couple I really liked. This one was comfortable to wear once I got it adjusted to what worked for me. I bought the black because it was $60 cheaper. As soon as it arrived, I was surprised - the fabric is VERY thick and coarse feeling. Not the soft fabrics that most carriers are made out of. No stretch. I do not like the fabric. I bought it to wear the baby while we were at Disneyland, it worked well for that purpose. Because the fabric is so thick, anywhere where there's a fold, it picked up stains very easily. And again, because the fabric is so thick, you can't just rub them out easily. So after using it once, it already looked dirty. It's impossible to get out of the sling by ... MoreThis is my fourth baby, so I've had a few baby carriers. It's impossible to get out of the sling by yourself, which doesn't make any sense to me. You have to have someone there to snap and unsnap your shoulders getting it on or off. I liked the head cover when baby was sleepy, it helped her to relax and fall asleep. It was helpful to be able to cover her face easily and hide the cover when it wasn't in use. I tried to adjust this carrier so that I could nurse while she was in it, I have no idea how anyone could do that. So if you figure it out, kudos to you! Overall, I give it a 3-4 star rating. Not terrible. Not fantastic.

I recently purchased the Boba X carrier for my third ( final) baby who is now 6m old. Previously I had been using a soft structured carrier from a different brand and also a ring sling. I find this Boba X carrier to be much easier to get baby into as there is only one clip to do up once youâve got the fit to your liking. Weâve only used it for front carry so far, but I am eager to try it for back carrying once my baby is big enough (probably a few months as he is a little guy). Regardless - this carrier is quick to use which is so helpful with two big brothers running around!I love that it comes with âtoddler add-onsâ for back carrying bigger kids/toddlers. Up to 45lbs!! I could easily use this carrier for my 3yr old and 5yr old if needed. All in all - super happy ... MoreI recently purchased the Boba X carrier for my third ( final) baby who is now 6m old. This is the third baby carrier I've purchased and I've finally found the best one for me. Only wish I'd bought this one first. It's so easy to wear and adjust straps when needed. I didn't even need to look at the instruction manual. There are video tutorials which show you how to wear as front carry or back carry position and it's really simple and quick to do. Highly recommend for any mums new to babywearing!
Cannot rave about this enough! The carrier is amazing, so comfortable and not too bulky like others, and so easy to adjust to get a safe and suitable fit for my tiny bub. It's fantastic that this carrier can fit newborns without the requirement for an insert! The micro adjustment system is very clever and the hood pocket is perfectly positioned for neck support. The shoulder and hip straps have just the right amount of padding, it's easy to put on and off by yourself and easy to adjust for myself and my husband to both wear it despite different body shapes! It's an excellent hardwearing fabric and is really easy to wash or spot clean. My only regret is not buying two, so that when it gets spit up on or peed on we have a spare!!! We've been using the Boba X with our 12 month old for the last month and it has been a lifesaver. This is probably the only carrier that my partner (who is 6'4") and I (5'7") both find super comfortable, and has become our go-to that we never leave home without. The material is super soft, more like a wrap than some of the stiffer canvas type cotton found on other carriers. The straps are nicely padded - not too bulky but enough so that you don't get any bits digging in anywhere. It has the option to cross the straps at the back for more support however I found I didn't really use this option much as I found it a bit awkward to grab the strap and clip it in, and I liked having the ease of moving our son from front to back carry and vice versa on the go.The Boba X ... MoreWe've been using the Boba X with our 12 month old for the last month and it has been a lifesaver. This is probably the only carrier that my partner (who is 6'4") and I (5'7") both find super comfortable, and has become our go-to that we never leave home without. The material is super soft, more like a wrap than some of the stiffer canvas type cotton found on other carriers. It can seem a little daunting when you first get it out of the box as it has lots of clips and adjusters but it's really straightforward (the instructions are great too) and once you've used it once or twice it's easy. The chest/back clip on zip adjusters is brilliant too - so easy to get it in the right spot. The bag clip on the shoulder is genius.I'm not sure how the carrier would fit with a tiny newborn, as even on the narrowest setting I don't think our son would have fit in it until he was perhaps 8 weeks old.Our son is now almost 12kg at 12 months so on the chunky side and tends to wriggle and whinge when facing in in our other carrier, but was happy in the Boba. The combination of the soft fabric and the extra leg padding seems to be a winner. The hood can be a little annoying/bulky for bigger toddlers when it's rolled up in its pocket but that's easily fixed by just unzipping it or taking it off completely. The addition of toddler width adjusters mean that we will get a lot of wear out of this for at least a couple of years to come too.
I have the cosmos print, which is gorgeous. This carrier is really easy to use; as easy as doing up two buckles and adjusting the shoulder straps. I love the fact that it can be used from baby's weight of 3.2kgs upwards, simply by adjusting the width using the velcro on the inside of the waistband. Baby loves being worn and I love having baby so close to me. A great carrier for both front (from birth) and back wearing (6 months+). The pockets are a great bonus, as is the handbag strap. I particularly love the hood which keeps the sun off baby's head.
Excellent baby carrier. We started using it when our baby was 6 weeks old - I love that you can use it so early, and without an infant insert (beforehand, we used a Boba stretchy wrap - love Boba products!).Initially the fabric and straps were a bit stiff - you can wash the carrier in a pillow case without detergent a couple of times to speed up the process of making the fabric softer. The carrier is easy to adjust to the adult and baby thanks to the adjustment straps. Really comfortable with padded shoulder straps, which makes it great for long weekend walks just as much as short trips to the shops.Great to wear around the house as well when you need to get things done (from work at home to daily chores) - you can keep baby close and still keep going with your ... MoreExcellent baby carrier. If you're lucky, baby will sleep for longer stretches in the carrier too :)I have just started to wear my baby on my back (he is a tall 5 month old), which is an absolute game changer. If you aren't too confident with this, find a baby wearing group near you so you can learn - it's really easy once you get the hang of it.We love the Indra Poppy print which suits both parents and get compliments often!
Such a great carrier. I have owned a few now and this is definately one of the more comfortable and easy to use carriers. What I really find great is that you can adjust the seated oart of the carrier so easily and to fit your baby. Many of the other carriers I have had, has been hard to change and only allows for 2 different modes (forward facing and inward facing modes), which I never really felt worked that great as your baby grew to get the vest M shape. Absolutely no regrets with this purchase. Simple and straight forward to use. Easy to get on and off. Easily fits under a jacket or flannel.I use with my almost 2 month old. It supports her really well and keeps her nice and close. I've been for all sorts of walks and she sleeps sound in it. She looks comfy snuggled up to me. I love the idea of it having a removable hood piece that comes over baby's head and attaches nicely on the shoulders of the carrier. It's perfect for when I'm up the windy hills. Also great to keep the sun off of her. On cooler Autumn days she still stays nice and warm. The only downside is that I wish the pocket at the front was alittle wider to fit my phone (s20+).
