I've heard the hype about Blundstones for a long time and felt like maybe I was going to be duped by all the positive reviews. The first time I went on a long walk I got blisters on my heels and unhappy feet. I also found the soles to be cold walking on the Canadian winter ground. However, once I broke them in and exchanged the insole for a winter wool one, my feet have been super happy all fall/winter/spring! These have become my go-to boots for daily use and travel. I don't wear them hiking but could probably get away with wearing them on a short hike. I'm now trying to convince my husband to buy a pair!Note: I followed the size recommendations and had no issues with sizing.

I bought these boots a month ago to replace the exact same boots that I have owned for 5 years. These boots are not only beautiful but support my feet for all my needs. I am a construction supervisor so I am on my feet all day and often I need to do some work and get in the mud. These boots are amazing for the office but also great for when I need to do some hard work. Extremely comfortable and versatile and I know they can handle a beating and last a long time. 10/10 recommend

However I intentionally ordered a half size up from my last pair of 550s because I wanted some extra sock room for the winter, but these are EXACTLY the same size though stamped as a half size bigger. I am keeping them as they fit, but if you order your usual size, you may find they are too small. I’m glad I went for the half size up or else they’d be going back.

Absolutely LOVE my Blundstone's!! I wore them all Winter long, and into the Spring, while I was living in Eastern Europe (when the snow wasn't several inches deep - though, you definitely could wear them through snow and I did). They were amazing. Such awesome, quality material, very comfortable, and so durable (I literally wore them for months straight, every day)! Love the style for fashion and function. I also really like the color (the rustic brown hid any scrapes until I had the chance to rub the boot clean again). I wore them through water puddles (though they are not waterproof) but I didn't have any issues. You'll need thicker socks for cold temperatures because they aren't made to be super warm. Normally, I am a true size 7 in women's shoes. I ordered a size 7 in the rustic black color, and when they arrived, I was surprised that my toes were smashed into the end. I walked around in them for a bit in my home, and eventually concluded that I should order a half size up.What I didn't know is that the half sizes in Blundstone's lineup are their wide sizes. So the 7.5 is the same length as the 7, but has a wider fit. I ended up ordering an 8, which fits my toes perfectly with the comfort liners inserted into it to make the boot more snug.I haven't broken them in yet or really worn them asides from the initial try on, so I can't really speak to the break in process or longevity of the boots.
I wore these for a year, and they were never comfortable, even though thoroughly broken in. A 19th Century design that should have died in 1900. I just don't get the appeal, unless torture for fashion's sake is your thing. Yes, they are durable, and well made, but are without a doubt the most uncomfortable things I've ever had on my feet. These are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned and my favorite piece of footwear right now. I wear these non-stop in almost any setting. I wear them daily to work in a business-casual setting and they look great. They look great dressed up or down, and are even great when it's cold. I actually plan to buy a second pair for more outdoor wear.
It was a bit dramatic purchasing my shoes. I ordered a pair as a bday gift to myself & they were a bud too tight. I literally wore them in my home. Returned them, and was refused. So I had to sell online, lost $150. Ordered a new pair, a size And they fit but they’ve literally destroyed both my big toe nails. I’ve lost them both from wearing. I didn’t realize that it was these boots ( I’ve been wearing them as a work shoe ) until I took some time off and then wore them again. Needless to say- I’m pretty disappointed with the cost, lack of customer service when first purchased and comfort for the price. I continue to wear them, because I invested so much money already as a work shoe. But wouldn’t recommend them to anyone tbh.
These boots are cute for the 'everyday' but I would not recommend them as work or hiking boots (though they are marketed to fit these needs). The soles offer no arch support nor much comfort if you plan to walk farther than 'just around downtown.' In terms of cost/benefit - I would not purchase Blundstones again and would search for a cheaper boot that offers greater comfort and foot support. In short, they are not worth the money.
