Useful to have the ability to recharge the Bluetti AC200MAX when boondocking, but for the price these are not the best quality. Kickstands are virtually useless. Also needs a way to run a cable lock through them for security/theft prevention. On a bright sunny day in direct sunlight at 33 Celsius these peaked at around 170W, so 200W is exaggerated. I may need to get a second set of panels to get adequate output (you can string multiple panels in parallel series)I picked up my Bluetti AC200MAX to power camping gear like a portable fridge cooler, LED rope lights, CPAP machine and diesel tent heater. In addition I plan to use it to recharge my eMTB battery overnight. We shall see if the claimed 2048Wh is realistic.ebike battery is 630W.

Living on the Oregon coast, we are putting together a solar generation system as a partial "solution" for a potential Cascadia earthquake/tsunami event that could leave us "in the dark" for weeks or even months. We decided to go primarily with Bluetti products. The first pieces of the puzzle are an EB150 sogen (AC300/B300 coming later) and one PV200 solar panel. These are all we have now, these two pieces. But a couple days ago I decided to test out what we had.It was about 60F and mostly sunny skies when we tested this, on October 2 at about 46N latitude. Once I figured out to move these around (fold one panel over, carry the panel on either side, move around) and set the kickstands to a 45 degree angle (the sun was lower in the sky but this was intended to be a ... MoreLiving on the Oregon coast, we are putting together a solar generation system as a partial "solution" for a potential Cascadia earthquake/tsunami event that could leave us "in the dark" for weeks or even months. Once I figured out to move these around (fold one panel over, carry the panel on either side, move around) and set the kickstands to a 45 degree angle (the sun was lower in the sky but this was intended to be a "quick and dirty" test) in a place where the panel was in full sun, facing south southeast at 11:30 AM.I know that under close to ideal conditions, you may get 80% efficiency (that is, for every 100 watts the panel is rated for, you may get 80 watts of usable output). You may get a bit more under really ideal conditions and positioning; often you may get a fair bit less. Once I hooked it up and put into the EB150's input, I could see a very impressive input coming in, usually 155-160 watts -- and that was without a lot of fine tuning to peak it! The video is a short clip to show what I was getting. Also I tested partial shading, and unlike many other panels where the entire panel/array can lose almost everything with a little bit of shade, these don't. They have four sections wired in parallel, so if one of them is shaded, the other three still produce well. These panels are expensive -- these are not intended for long term permanent installation (you want rigid panels for those). But for camping, for RVing, boondocking, or just occasional emergency use when you don't need solar panels out all the time, it looks like these are doing a wonderful job. If I need to update over time, I will do so, but my initial impression of the performance of these panels is very good.

BLUETTI PV200 Solar Panel | 200W - Wow - Very Nice
5 December 2023

I have a BLUETTI PV200 Solar Panel | 200W. What a nice solar panel. I have it connected to a EB55 Portable Power Station. This setup works great. Sure I could have more panels but this system works great. Easy to transport and set up. They work very nice together. Sorry no pictures. Absent minded sometimes. Taking camping they are great to use together. This panel would be a great setup with a larger portable power station. I am looking into getting a larger station.

Haven't had to use the solar blanket in ernest yet.I have installed a Victron 75/15 mppt controller in the van and an Anderson plug external for the solar panel to connect to. I had to purchase a mc4 to anderson extension lead. The test worked perfectly. In terms of the construction the unit is excellent. The materials appear to be good quality. The handle is strong. Once I had worked out the system for opening the panel it now is as easy as pie to set up and close down.

Overall another good Bluetti Panel. This panel has done very well as it is of smaller size than the larger panels like the PV350 and PV420. The size makes this panel much more portable for moving around with the smaller power stations in the Bluetti line. That having been stated, for some reason this particular panel has not performed as well as the larger PV350 and PV420 when comparing efficiencies. In approximately the same conditions, the PV350 actually peaked at over 350 watts (over 100%), the PV420 peaked at almost 400 watts (over 95%), and the PV200 peaked at only about 160 watts (about 80%). Not sure if it is this particular unit or if that is the standard but it seemed much lower than other Bluetti panels (although still not bad). Fantastic Solar Panels

Very impressed with these solar panels - quality is top notch, beautifully made & I am confident I will get many years of reliable power from them. Tried them out last weekend (Nov 2022) camping down near Boddington in the bush, connected in series to my Bluetti AC200P & they peaked at 340W to 350W continuous output on a 23 deg C day (bright & sunny). Real world conditions so I'm very satisfied with them. Sure you can buy other supposedly 200W brands for a 1/3 the price however they will not produce as much power in the same conditions, are very unlikely to have a true EFTE coating protecting the cells & I'd expect that performace would degrade much sooner than the Bluetti solar panels. I buy for quality & long-term reliabability hence I expect I'll get this ... MoreVery impressed with these solar panels - quality is top notch, beautifully made & I am confident I will get many years of reliable power from them. High quality and high performance

I have used many different panels from different manufacturers and this Bluetti is one of the better portable high-powered panels on the market today. The materials and construction are of the highest quality, and the advanced electrical design ensures optimized power output even under partially shaded conditions which is rare to find in other panels. One potential improvement might be the inclusion of some additional charge ports on the panel itself, such as USB-C, in addition to the standard MC4 connectors. This would allow the panel to directly charge a much wider range of devices when used standalone; with the sole MC4 connector you need a separate device such as a solar power generator to do this common task. My First Solar Panel

I currently have the AC200L and recently purchased the Bluetti Multicooler. We regularly camp off-grid and as such have no way to charge our Bluetti products.
