Works well. Feels relatively safe and you have to hold two seperate triggers with both hands to engage the blades. The clear plastic trim guard tends to fall off but that doesn't bother me. I have cut two types of different hedge and it had no problem with each. Make sure you read the guide and don't over work it in thick areas. Take your time and be careful not to cut the power cord.

Very light weight and easily handled. Powerful enough for the hedge trimming that I bought it for. Fells very safe and in control using it, though it is a powerful tool. I am happy with its length, but be aware that it is shorter than other models.

Pros: light weight, decent quality, inexpensive, low wattage motor, can handle any bushes I have which aren't thick stemmedCons: slightly noisy for what it is, will see if lasts the distanceOverall happy with the purchase

To the person who says the guard doesn't stay on, you really have to look at pictures A and B to see that apart from fitting the guard, you have to push down to slot the bottom right and left edges into the slots too, THEN use the screw driver to push the screw in. I hope this makes it stay in for everyone concerned!
I wanted a good quality Trimmer at a reasonable price. I arranged to to collect it at a local branch. The whole process was smooth and trouble free. I would recommend Robert Dyas
Did lots of research before buying this as didn't want to spend a fortune. It does the job well and it's not too heavy which is a bonus. The only small issue is that the guard doesn't seem to stay on but someone else commented on this before I bought it so it wasn't a surprise. Nice buy and would recommend.
I bought this hedge trimmer recently. I was looking for a lighter corded modal to replace a much heavier trimmer of a different make. This is light in weight and ideal for me to trim my shrubs and small hedges. I was delighted to buy this at a reduced price.
I bought this during level 4 lockdown. As a nearing eighties pensioner I found it very easy to use on smaller shrubs around the house. Thoroughly recommended.
Bought this to tame our small laurel hedge, nice and light ideal for small hedges
Great gadget for small gardens. Light and easy to use it leaves a clean edge on both shrubs and hedges . I would recommend to anyone.
