I love these shoes except keeping them stain free is hard work. I sprayed them immediately with a protective spray but then dropped food on them cooking. Baking powder finally removed the stain but now I see droplet marks. I have less than 2 weeks so maybe I am not best owner for these. I do love them though, bought with 20 % off offer

I am very happy with this purchase, but I wasn't so sure at first. When they arrived, they fit my foot, but it was a tight squeeze and the leather was stiff. My feet hurt a bit and I was worried they weren't the right clogs for me. I wore them with socks for the first 2-3 weeks to help with the pain and give them a bit of a stretch. Now they fit like a dream and the leather has softened up on the inside while remaining sturdy on the outside. Highly recommend these shoes!These clogs are fairly heavy and loud. If you live in an upstairs apartment and want to wear these inside, your neighbors will hear you.

Wearing a size 13-14 shoe and being flat-footed, when I find a shoe that fits and feels good, I get it. Sometimes I’ll buy two pair. I’ve been wearing Birks for over 30 years and really appreciate how they make my feet feel. As a former runner and currently an avid walker, slipping these on when I get home is great therapy. I like the closed toe, allows them to be worn as an informal dressy shoe.

I have chronic plantar fasciitis, which unfortunately lets me know pretty quickly which shoes are going to work for me. I've got theories, but it doesn't really matter why -- Birkenstocks are the one brand that reliably never give me ANY foot pain. I wear the Arizona's all summer, but this year I decided to get the clogs so I could extend my "sandal season" into the fall/winter a bit more. Any worries I had vanished instantly -- the clogs are comfortable and durable -- I'm not gonna lie, I've been wearing them all winter.Bonus points for REI - I bought them one day, and decided to exchange sizes the next. Not only was it super easy, they had a sale going on for members and they applied a 20% off without me even asking for it.
The “new” soft footbed Birks are not very soft compared to the ones I bought about a dozen years ago. Here is a picture side by side, although you will not be able to determine softness from a photo. The footbed is taller, thicker than previous designs. I can still push down on the footbed of my older shoes and the cushion is about a quarter of an inch. The new version has almost no give, maybe a millimeter or two. They still fit well and will conform to my feet but the cushioning is virtually nonexistent and barely more than another pair I have without the “soft footbed”
I have purchased two pairs of these and in both there was a major flaw. The first pair was suede and had non-matching wear amounts on each shoe, with one looking especially bad. The second was leather and had a major scuff on the side. Ridiculous experience to have twice for this price of a shoe, and will keep me from buying Birkenstocks in the future.
I’ve had them about a year now and I wear them more than anything else! I can stand on concrete playing long acoustic gigs with no pain during or after, they keep my toes warm enough year round and they go on as easy as flip flops. (And they still don’t stink)You’ll be glad you bought these!
I ordered these pairs and waited for over a week for my order to arrive and I was so excited to try them out. They arrived in a destroyed box and the plastic bag was torn and I was fine with the poor packaging. THE BIG SURPRISE: they were extremely used. So upsetting! I wish I gave these a 5-star because they're good quality. It's more of a service quality rating rather than an item review.

Fit is a little different than with the Arizona sandal as I went up a full size and the leather in the toe box and the top of the foot will stretch a bit.
