Biona Pomegranate Juice , 1L

One of the items I ordered did not arrive in my parcel. An additional item I did not order was included instead. When I contacted evergreen about this they at first refused to refund my payment for the product. I contacted CCP.ie to ask if this was legal, they informed me it was not. I relayed this to the customer service team. They told me that they would only issue a refund if I returned to them the item they sent me by mistake. I was happy to return the item I didn’t order but was uncomfortable with the fact that they first attempted to get out of the refund and now were offering a conditional refund because of their mistake. I eventually had to make a claim through PayPal to get my money back for an order I never received. In addition to customer service team being uneducated in the basics of consumer law they were also rude as I attempted to rectify their error.

Awful beyond description

The most prominent taste was the type af unpleasant acidity often associated with unripe fruit. Underlying this was a note of rot. We tried to drink some, then poured it down the drain. Biona seems to be one of these odd brands without well defined quality standards - sometimes you get excellent products under the label, at other times products which should never have reached a consumer. We shall stick to POM even in these times of supply issues...

Best pomegranate juice out there

This really is the best one Ive had and Ive tried a few different one (some of which are ridiculously expensive). Bionas juice is very tasty - I have 2 or 3 small glasses every day. It comes in glass bottles which is another big plus. Ill be ordering more in the New Year

Excellent quality juice

My husband was advised by a heart Consultant to drink pomegranate juice to help keep his arteries clear .This is the best quality juice we have found. It has an earthy taste,it takes a bit if getting used to as it is not sweet and free of artificial additives. Hubby mixes it with water and a bottle lasts a week.I highly recommend this juice, excellent quality and yes expensive but certainly worth it.

Inconsistent quality

Sometimes nice other times brown and tasting more like pomegranate rind than the seeds. My most recent purchase was undrinkable and got poured down the drain - bitter metallic taste and odd smell. I probably wont risk it again.

Not a leisure type drink

This juice is organic and raw with no preservatives or enhancers and sweeteners etc. It has a slight bitter taste and contains some sediment as expected from organic pressed fruit. Shaking the bottle disperses the sediment so one doesn't get too much per serving. This is not pop, soda, cordial or an artificial leisure type fruit concoction drink. It is seriously healthy stuff. I use it for medicinal purposes. The taste is not a priority. I take one glass each morning straight from the fridge. I take it for heart and vascular health and to aid in unclogging my blocked arteries (plaque removal) as it is proven pure pomegranate juice can aid in doing that. Refreshingly tart taste

I am really enjoying this pomegranate organic juice, it has a very refreshing tart taste. Enjoying this very much as my breakfast morning drink. I highly recommend it.

Sour goodness

If you like pomegranate juice this is really good and it comes in a large bottle. I actually only had only a little as everyone else in the household helped themselves to it very fast! It inly lasted a couple if days for us!

Vile.

Firstly, I cold press whole fruit, pomegranates regularly using a wheat grass juicer. I get about 230 ml from two fruits. I was hoping for a nice juice here but I can't drink it, it's vile. If you juice pomegranates like I do, you know how the juice should taste. This juice tastes nothing like pomegranates and if there was no label, I wouldn't know what it is. It tastes like nasty, sweet grapes. Biona are hit and miss. Their carrot juice is excellent but their Apple Cider Vinegar is horrible. If you want to experience real pomegranate juice, buy a wheat grass juicer and make the juice yourself. Buy the fruits not the seeds in a plastic container.

delicious

I love this juice so much. great fresh from the bottle. I also freeze some of it into ice cube trays to use in a gin and tonic with organic cherries or other berries. I freeze into portions to eat as ice lollies. I am glad I bought it without reading the other reviews because they would have put me off. I buy it all the time and have never had a bad batch. it's great to read reviews but the only way you will know if you like it is to try it for yourself. give it a try!
