These are the best biodegradable, resealable bags I've tried yet. They don't break down too quickly and they seem to seal really well. That said, they're almost completely opaque, which makes identifying the contents a little more difficult. I've also seen a few reviews stating these bags are difficult to open. They are, but I've noticed if you try to open them near the corner of the bag, at the far end of the "zip", they tend to open a lot more easily. All in all, they work just fine for us and they're far better than creating yet more plastic waste. That's a trade off I'm perfectly happy with.

I use these now instead of Ziploc. These are compostable. They are hard to open, but once you get them open, they work well. Open gently. Open from the top to avoid tearing.

I was so excited to find these. Finally I can use baggies in my house again. I was quickly disappointed. They’re terrible and a waste of money. The seal is so strong they won’t open and if you do manage to get them open they rip. I thought maybe it was just one but no, I tried several and my experience was the same. Terrible product.

I really love these. I have to take care to open a couple out of a pack but I've never had the problem of other comments. And only one has ripped but I've been using these for over 3 years so I consider that a good percentage. They don't last more than 4 days in the fridge with wet foods in it but I have glass containers for those; I mostly use them for taking food to work or dry snacks.
These would be great, except that they almost always tear when I try to pull apart the zipper part. The part of the bag at the very top, which you separate in order to pull apart the zip-locked part, just rips off, leaving the bag pretty useless. It's very frustrating.
I use them in my "real composting materials" in a container under the sink so that all only vegetation goes in the compost, which by the way I put my paper towels so long they do not have chemicals on them. I use them in the bathroom trash can, and I use them for the meat and other icky stuff. This I freeze for trash day. The bag really does break down fast too. BE CAREFUL putting in wet items. Hint; I put a piece of rolled up newspaper in the bottom of the bag to absorb wetness.
Not a fan. I have tried several boxes and used them to store bread product on the counter, refrigerated items, and even tried them in the freezer. At room temperature they dried out English muffins to the consistency of hockey pucks. In the refrigerator vegetables fared a little better but still dried out the refrigerator. Worst was the freezer, in which my meat bad case of freezer burn. when I need a bag, I’m afraid I’m going to have to go back to using (gasp) plastic.
These are a fantastic solution to non degradable plastic zip lock bags. They are sturdy, reliable, store the things needed to be stored quickly outside of clip seal containers brilliantly. I'd be lost without them. I'm astonished how long they last. We bought our first bag of 20 in 2019 and have only just bought another lot, though we still have at least 10 of the old bags STILL in use. Which makes them AMAZINGLY good value. This product really is brilliant. Use, wash, dry, reuse. It's SUCH a no brainer and feels awesome not adding to the ocean of plastic around that the world is already drowning in. Our family loves them.
Sometimes a plastic bag is just what you need. These opaque green coloured bags are made from renewable crops are BPA and Phthalate free and at the end of its useful life this product is certified compostable. Happy with my purchase.
I wanted to love these, but they have too many defects. These are okay for one time use, if used and discarded immediately. They do not hold up to long term storage or repeated uses. The bags just rip and shred. And the bags are also more challenging to open and close than other brands.
