JB was a bit slow to get it in so if you want it quickly not a great experience. But the product is amazing. Great colour works well with my xbox in 4K resolution. Really happy.

as expected decent picture quality and performs well even in brighter rooms. gaming with ps5 very good. however disappointed it doesn't support dolby surround in amazon prime !!. had to make many settings change to figure out even PCM sound.

I've had this projector hanging on my cinema for a couple of weeks now. This is a dedicated cinema room and the lights are off when it is used but it perfectly at home in normal daylight conditions or side lights. For gaming it is what I have been waiting for. 240Hz @ 1080P with 4ms lag or 60Hz @ 4k with around 16ms lag which is hardly noticeable. As always the team at Richer Sounds found me the right projector at the same cost elsewhere but when you facto in the 6 year warranty it is a no brainer.

Very impressed with the response time in gaming mode at 4k 60fps no noticeable lag when playing series x or ps5. Good clarity and brightness even with ambient lighting. At night or darkend room very good blacks on a grey screen. earc return Chanel to sound bar works well. fan noise audable when on ceiling above head but quickly melds into background with sound playing. Easy setup and supplied media stick works well but will probably swap it out for my fire stick, as no Netflix. Very happy with purchase and service
Highly recommend this Projector for usage in living room with short throw. Ensure that the light from the living room windows doesn't fall in the line of projection. The inbuilt android Benq TV (though manually needed to be plugged in after purchase), helps with the other two HDMI slots used for your laptops or any. 4K quality is really good.
I had a Benq TH671ST which has been the best HD gaming projector ive had to date, and does well with films and videos too, and unlike the new TK700STI the former is a true short throw at down to 0.7. The TK700STI claims to be a short throw, but yet with my previous projector i could get between 110" to 132". with the new one the max i can get is around 95-100" which is a shame its not on par with such a decent short throw HD version. However the colours are fab, and crisp on the TK700STI and have tested both 120hz mode and 4K HDR Gaming mode on the PS5, and its fluid and rich. Sound is also surprising good from this little box, but still no substitute for ya 5.1 sound if you got one. After waiting a good couple of months for my pre order being delayed on me ... After waiting a good couple of months for my pre order being delayed on me twice....once i finally got it. the Android TV Dongle (QS01) that comes with this projector, effectively became useless after day 2, with the remote no longer being able to pair with it, and seem the bluetooth chip on the dongle ether died or the update killed it, making it useless as a smart projector, unless you use your own fire stick or something. RMA was raised with Benq and still waiting for a replacement weeks later. the last other thing i don not like with this projector that i never had with the other projector half its price, it has a horrid light border around all 4 edges, even when gaming full screen etc, surely its dont need to be there, and fix it with a firmware update.....Im Summary its a great bit of kit for the price, as long as you can put up with the horrid border and dont mind the android TV side of it dying on you.
Pros: Short throw. Small size. Excellent image quality.Cons: Limited input port options. Mediocre audio and loutish fan noise.
Initially ordered the Optoma UHD35STx as a 4k upgrade to a BenQ W1210ST. I knew the Optoma had no optical zoom, but the manual indicated there was digital zoom, however that option (and several others) were missing from the setup menu on mine. As the projector is ceiling mounted, this was important to get the positioning on screen right. Fortunately RS customer service were their usual helpful selves and a swap to the TK700STi wasn't an issue.Whilst this is listed as a short throw projector, it's not as short throw as the w1210ST and I had to move the ceiling mount back by about 18". Image quality is stunning, even in 1080p mode. I did see some rainbow effect on the first film I watched (which was in 1080p), but not noticed it all all when gaming. Is is a bit ... Is is a bit noisy, but you don't notice it when there is game/film sound and there is also a bit of light leakage from side/top.Other things I learned:If using HDMI/ethernet extenders and upgrading, make sure your extenders are 4k compatible. Mine weren't.I'm feeding a PS5/Blu-Ray/Freesat through a Yamaha RX-A2060 AV Receiver. If you have a Yamaha receiver you may need to change the Advanced Settings/HDMI Mode from Mode 2 to Mode 1 for everything to work properly. HDR settings were greyed out on PS5 till I changed this.
Gaming is fantastic on this projector. It has vibrant colours and a low lag - as it all says on the tin. What I would say is if you are a casual gamer and watch TV etc on the projector then maybe look for an alternative option. The colours aren't very accurate and the dark levels leave you desiring more. However, I watch sport on this and the quality of 4k image at 60hz is incredible.
I decided to upgrade the six year old Epson projector last week, and I'd heard of a semi short throw from BenQ that only needs 7ft to display 100 inches to a screen. My media room only has 9ft 4ins wall to wall, so this seemed ideal. The assistant manager, Marc was there to answer any questions I had (and I had quite a few!). I ended up talking to several other guys there about cinema, resolutions, hdmi cables and projectors, it was great to pick a few brains about something I'm passionate about.I got the unit home and set it up. It was smaller than I was expecting, compared to other projectors and the 3840 x 2160p image blew me away. Plugged into it I have my PS5, and certain games even play at 120fps which is amazing! The built in Android TV adds versatility meaning I can stream audio and video without having to use external devices. With 3200 lumens, it's very bright, even in mild daylight and with 16ms response times and game modes for image, sound and refresh rates means shooting games such as Borderlands 3 are as immersive as it gets.I couldn't have made my choices without the great guys at richer sounds, and I'm looking forward to upgrading my av receiver in the future with their guidance.
