You can also connect Cable Ports (I do not use those but I did in the past).OUT OF FAIRNESS - the OLD BELKIN had the Landline Telephone Jack protection (that which I use) but since landlines are being eliminated and they are connected to the Modem/Router today. The Router and Modem are also connected to the Belkin!

A family friend is an IT consultant and this is the one recommended by him. For one thing you will never run out of outlets (unless you're running a small country) and secondly there is surge protection for the other types of hook-ups (i.e. phone line and coaxial cable) so it is very complete for any device that you might need to add. For myself, even though it is much more than my simple set-up requires, in this case I believe more is better. It is very well thought-out as far as the outlets pivoting and/or the stationery ones. A very solid product with an excellent reputation. Perhaps there are (cheaper) less expensive on the market, but you get what you pay for. VERY SATISFIED!!!!!

The Belkin surge protector with 12 outlets is well suited for my home theater room where there are very sensitive electronics like the Xbox, projector and the sound system. The rotating outlets give a little bit of flexibility to put multiple connectors without bumping into each other. If it is a fat adapter you may still have issues of outlets covered. It would have been good if there was a little bit more spacing between outlets. The protected light and the grounded light provide the confidence that the devices are being protected. Overall a good product. Also, It survived minor thunder storms.
What a nice surge protector! The swiveling sockets allow for the use of larger power adapters without sacrificing the plugs next to them. It would also work excellent with smart plugs! I did find it a little more difficult to plug things in due to the swiveling they are very mobile. Just go slowly and it will work out. It has 4 pivoting plugs and 4 stationary plugs, all of which are surge protected. You can also mount this on a wall if you prefer! I am using this for my daughter’s computer/monitor and miscellaneous peripherals, and it’s been working just fine, with plenty of room to spare! I am glad that everything will be protected in case of power surges.

This is perfect for offices and garages and probably so many other situations too. At first my husband used this in the garage for a project, he had his shop vac, drill chargers, fan, pressure washer and much more occupying this surge protector and had so much room and flexibility with plug shapes due to the large format and large quantity of outlets. He really liked the easy access to so many outlets and I like that it helped him get his project completed. After that we moved it into our office where it has been super helpful with cord management keeping so many of our electronic cords in one area. We love the protection it offers and convenience it brings by keeping all of our cords in one area making everything easier to manage.
This surge protector is fantastic. It has 12 outlets that you can use with 8 of them that pivot for those cords that will not fit side by side and 4 stationary ones. It has a protected and grounded status light indicator along with an 8 ft cord which I LOVE!! It makes it so much easier to reach where I need it to go. It also has a place at the bottom where you can put all of your cords to help keep them nice and neat and not get all tangled up. It also has an in and out coaxial protection and telephone/fax protection. This surge protector is working great so far and I hope that it continues to do so. I love this surge protector so much because it allows me to position multiple plugs, that usually interfere with each other, at different angles. Many plugs for devices now contain the actual transformer/convertor for the devices power supply. With that the plugs are larger, and also can have the cord coming from differing directions out of the plug. With this surge protector you can pivot each outlet so that the plug or cord does not interfere with the outlet next to it.There are a bunch of outlets, and it utilized a cable organizer at one end to allow you keep everything tidy.I think this is must have for any area you have multiple devices in use.
