Beko BWD7541W 7.5kg Washer 4kg Dryer Combo

Second Beko washer dryer I've bought. These are great. I've had Bosch and Samsung washer dryers, and this is better than either of them. The Samsung was useless, barely dried anything. The Bosch didn't have the same features this has. Clothes come out crisp and dry just like a normal conventional dryer. The 4hr wash and dry cycle is ace. The bluetooth app is gimmicky, shame it isn't wifi instead. Nice small size, pretty compact for a washer dryer. Would recommend this washer dryer for sure.

We bought this product 2 years ago and within that time I had to replace the electronic display and now it is in the shop because it completely stopped due to water getting in side the machine where it is not suppose to. The machine itself is a good use but after using it I wouldn't recommend getting it as a combo. If you want get a separate dryer, because the clothes don't fully dry and you end up getting a high power bill. I am lucky to have the 5 year warranty but if without the warranty it would be costly. We are a big family of 7 and I do a LOT of loads, washing is good. Machine is ALOUD noise when it is doing the process. Customer service is great they were very helpful and are repairing /replacing the product after they order the parts.

A Good Machine That Does It All

We have had this product for around 6 months now and it hasn't missed a beat. The machine does a great job both washing and drying. The dryer took a little process change on our part to understand, but once used to it is fine. This machine got us through a very wet and cold Southern Tassie winter and has worked well. We haven't used the Bluetooth features, etc; but just as a standard washer and dryer, this product is compact and works well.

Obviously this suits a smaller family (especially as drying takes longer with this type of design) but again the price reflects this. For me, the smart features/app are not really at the point where it's worth using - it would be better over wifi and with more functionality. Also I would like more control over the drying cycle to manually choose the temperature for different fabrics. I miss knowing exactly what the machine is doing based on the rotary selector of old top loaders. Anyway, lets hope my experience continues to be a positive one and hopefully I don't need warranty support - but if I do, that it doesn't make me change my mind! Other than during the spin dry, it is quiet enough; it looks decent; and it basically seems to do what it says on the packet for a fair price. All this despite coming from a place that is not the usual place we get our stuff from these days. If you haven't tried Beko, don't be afraid of considering them.

Good washer and dryer for good price

The favourite program - wash with cold water and 1200 spin (max is 1400 but 1200 is enough as for me) - it takes 18 mins. Mostly I wash kids clothes. Each time I select water temperature, a spin mode and time - please keep it in mind. There are two separate drying programs for cotton and synthetic. I used a drying program for dry but a little bit wet clothes because of the rain - for 30 min - it was good. I did not dry towels or adult pants - as it could take a long time and might not work. Also in terms of depth it is one of the smallest machine. By the way width is 60 (not 65 as it was mentioned in description) - see specification. Happy but could be a bit quicker on combo cycle.

I bought the BEKO originally because it was the smallest I could find to fit in the space of an old styed apartment I live. It operates in exactly the way it is specified and hasn't disappointed. The thing that prevents me from giving a higher rating is the length of time the washer/dryer setting takes which can go for hours and given the low kg you can put in; but now I am used to that. I also wasn't keen on the fact that even when dried the garments are still slightly moist, particularly if they are dense, e.g flannalette sheets or towels - but it doesnt take long for them to go bone dry by hanging/airing them. I wouldnt recommend it for heavy duty use.

Highly recommend if laundry space is an issue!

Controls looked a little daunting at first but actually pretty easy to figure out. The machine comes with a mobile app to tailor your wash cycle a little more than the controls on the machine allow, and also shows you at a glance where in the wash cycle the machine is, and how much time is left, which is also pretty cool. A few minor quibbles though: The mobile app was a little difficult to set up. Note to anyone looking to buy this, you need to tell the app to search for a dryer, not a washer, to find it (all wash options are still available in the app regardless). Also, in order to use the app, it's not enough to set the control knob to remote mode, you need to then press the remote button. Every time. Bluetooth is always on unless you manually turn it off, but remote doesn't stay on the same way. Kind of confusing, kind of pointless, but you get used to it. Again, now that I know, it's not that bad. Lastly, I don't know if this is par for the course with front loaders because I've never had one before, but after every wash cycle, a small puddle of water forms on the rubber door seal. It doesn't leak or anything like that, it just fails to drain from there when the rest of the water drains out. I have to mop it up before removing the washing (especially if I did a dry cycle), so I don't accidentally make contact with it. Regardless of these complaints, it's a great machine, and I recommend especially to people where space is an issue but that want a dryer as well as a washer.

Stylish, good value, but room for improvment

This washing machine looks great! And is reasonably priced for a washer/dryer. The washing functionality is good, but the drying not so good. The positives of this product are: - 1400 rpm spin cycle (hard to find for this price) - quick wash lasts 20 mins Negatives would be: - very noisy spin cycle! - not easy to learn all the functions - I had to read the manual many times - the drying takes a very long time. After 1-hour my clothes are still damp

Takes a bit of getting used to!

This appliance is great value for money but took some getting used to. When washing it is really noisy, especially on a full load. The default rpm spin setting for standard cycles leaves the clothes still wet and so I need to manually adjust it to the highest setting each time. My biggest disappointment is that the setting which is supposed to automatically wash and dry a small load ie. put in dirty and take out washed and dried is poor - clothes are still wet at the end of the cycle.
