Needed spare towels for visitors so was looking for a budget towel as they will not have much use. The towels which came are thick, luxurious and have washed through with no loss of colour or fluffiness. Beautiful towels at any price but for this price just amazing. Will order again.

Matalan's low prices enticed me to buy four Egyptian cotton hand towels . I am so glad that I bought them because the quality is unbeatable. The towels have been washed and not one spot of dye escaped into the water. They are 100% colourfast. Although I did not use fabric conditioner, the towels dried on an outdoor line, to a deep fluffy softness. Helen Moss

I now have 9 in numerous sizes bath sheets for body bath towels for hair. I brought them for my daughter last year too. You’ll struggle to find this quality at such a good price

I buy these towels for a holiday cottage that I run and they are fantastic. They get washed very regularly and they come out great. A 10min cycle in the tumble dryer when they are almost dry means they come out nice and fluffy for our guests. A great product at a very reasonable price
Had previously bought towels from John Lewis and House of Fraser which didnt last long as they ended up flat and faded very quickly.Spotted these towels in my Mother-in-Laws house and was amazed at how super soft and thick and fluffy they were. Couldn't believe it when she said they were from Matalan, i was expecting them to be far more expensive than they actually were.The only downside is that they take longer to dry with them being thicker but I think thats a fair pay off because they feel better than spa towels. Absolute Heaven!
Bought 6 towels for my daughter and her partner they absolutely loved them. I bought myself some previously and they saw them in my bathroom and asked me where they are from. I said Matalan of course. It was great as I was struggling to know what to buy them for a moving in gift.
I really am delighted with these towels. They have a luxury and quality feel to them at a reasonable price. They are soft, absorbent and have washed well, retaining the aforementioned qualities, without fabric condioner or a tumble dryer! Very pleased with this purchase. Thanks Matalan!
I ordered 6 Bath Sheets, 6 Bath Towels And 6 Hand Towels all Egyptian Cotton And I was expecting high quality as you would with these Towels. When they were delivered they were poorly packed, forced into see through plastic bags too small for purpose, and when I unpacked a couple of towels they were very very poor quality with threads of cotton hanging off and pulls of cotton on the towels. These towels are poor quality and look like they are cheap fakes from China my advice is if you want quality Egyptian Towels do not use Matalan.
Plain, classic towel in a medium-dark charcoal shade. Egyption heavy weight, thick, absorbent fabric. Decent sizes (not skimpy cut). I order bath sheets to ensure good wrap around on getting out of the shower or bath - it's worth paying a bit extra. Happy with them.
Amazing value towels, and super quality, nice and thick, so much cheaper than other high street retailers. They washed well, a tiny bit crunchy when dried on the washing line but 10 mins in the tumble dryer and they are soft and fluffy. A little bit of fluff comes off when using them but i imagine this will probably stop after a few washes.
