BeatBuddy Mini 2 - Drum Machine Pedal

The beat buddy is the first drum machine that comes very well packaged with both brains and muscle. These guys got it right and kept it simple. I have performed for years with a small combo that utilized several drum machines. I am in love with this he beat buddy for one it is operational right out of the box, No need to have a manual by your side because it is readty to go and simple to operate. The kick is the quality along with simplicity. A must have for any one who needs a drummer. Way to go you at Singular.

I was skeptical ordering this. Thought it might be fun for a day and then wouldn't use it much. Boy was I wrong. I use it for metronome timing practice (way funner than a click) me and my bassist use it to jam just us in-between full band practice, and use it to come up with new ideas. Sound quality is very good. For best results run beat buddy through a separate amp/PA/FRFR cab, something other than same amp u are using for guitar. You can use same amp for both but I feel the sound suffers somewhat

Let me start off by saying I had high expectations for the Beat Buddy, so the fact that it exceeded them is even more impressive.I enjoy this thing so much that my kids now yell for me to turn on “foot drums” every time I play guitar.This has been amazing and I am really happy it was so easy to learn to use. 2 minute read of the manual, 5 minutes watching a YouTube video on things to try..... and boom ?? I was off and running and grinning ear to ear.Anyone that tries this, WILL like it and find a use for it.

Good product and great service. I think when buying this little drummer just keep in mind that nothing else other than the Song, Genra, and Tempo can be changed.It has great sound and some good grooves, but a huge amount of grooves that very few people will use, as with most drum machines. I think the bigger Beatbuddy would be great but can't say much as I have not used it. The time signatures are lacking in that there is no 2/4 timing and the 3/4 is limited to pretty much just the brush sets and maybe one other. The little machine is good for what it is and the price, which I must say Rubber monkey has the best price around. Cheers for that.

I am extremely happy with this pedal! It’s super easy to use and it helps a lot with my songwriting. Everyone that writes music needs to have this pedal, it surely adds to the creativity and ideas flow easier. Totally recommend it and as usual, AMS delivered fast and awesome payment plan.

Definitely a PLUS!

I got this to use at practice and in "live" worship services. We needed something to add to our instrumentation and help us keep a steady beat. Since we are without a drummer this seemed to be our answer, and it is! I have only started using and exploring this unit but so far it is working. The drum sounds are authentic sounding. I use this as a separate unit plugged directly to the board on it's own channel. I can't wait to use it more and explore all the capabilities!

Don't purchase!

I received my beat buddy mini as a gift. I really enjoyed it and loved that it can produce drum fills as well. After two months it just stopped working. I contacted support and was informed the warranty was expired and theres nothing they can do. It's a waste and a shame!!! Stick to more well established companies.

Great Pedal! Very Fun! 5 Important things to Know before you buy.

I do like this pedal A lot, 1)I think for $ it should have a little more to it, but the intros, transitions and fills make it really fun to play with, Transitions from verse to chorus, very cool and fun, and impressive, 2) I had to buy a Bose NS3 Noise Suppressor (Cheapest one I could get quickly, works) to quiet the hum/buzz: like if you touched a live 1/4" with your finger while the amp is on). Most impressive

Pleasantly surprised. Got a great deal on it from MF. Been enjoying getting to know it right out of the box. Play alone now but was in a 3-piece acoustic band not long ago and wish I'd had it then. Very short learning curve and a growing list of song settings on manufacturer's website. What I like best are the variety of transitions, the ability to manually change songs quickly, and the ability to control an entire song with one foot instead of by hand. A very cool product for my needs - can't imagine needing its big brother. And a fine tool at twice the price.

This is perfect for home pracy

I use the Beatbuddy Mini 2 for my practice. It beats a metronome. There's lots of beats in multiple genres. I picked it up on cyber Monday at a great price. Even at the regular price, it's worth the money.
