This is hands down the number one baby purchase. My daughter has been using the Baby Bjorn bouncer since she was 3 weeks old when it was literally a life saver since she hated to be put down but would tolerate going into the bouncer so I could free my hands and get other things done! She’s now one and still uses it. It keeps babies content with how secure it is and the ability to rock themselves as well as being an awesome chair for feedings and snacks (cover is removable and washable!) Bonus is it folds down flat and totally compact if you need to store it away or take it on trips. It’s honestly worth every penny.

The Babybjörn Bouncer is something we use every day in our home. The bouncer comes in many colors, but we chose a neutral color that matches our nursery. The material is soft and has a lovely cross stitch pattern. It is easy to strap baby in safely and allow them to do the bouncing with their feet. You can adjust the angle of how upright you want your baby to be. Our baby loves this bouncer and we take it everywhere! The bouncer collapses very easily and can fit nicely into a long narrow space when traveling. Sometimes it’s nice to set your baby down and this safe and comfortable bouncer gives me that option!

Early on this was an absolute lifesaver as our baby loved to sit in only this chair unless she was being held. She had bad tummy issues initially and if we weren’t holding and rocking her upright she didn’t seem comfortable, unless she was in her baby bjorn. It was the only thing that would calm her and easy to be operated with just my foot before she really wiggled. When she started moving more she learned to rock herself. While expensive, I definitely think over all the random swings, supports, rockers we got, it was worth the price tag, surprisingly! We also now use it more like a chair she likes to just sit and rock sometimes. Would recommend to any new parent. I don’t know what the magical design about it is, but it did work for us.

When I became pregnant with my 2nd baby I was adamant I would have everything, including a bouncing chair as well as a swinging chair! I chose my models and narrowed it down the the Baby Bjorn bouncer and the Nuna Leaf Grow swinging chair. As we spent more and more money my dreams of having every type of chair and every type of play mat for different types of stimulus turned into a "stop being unrealistic and choose one or the other situation." I went with the Nuna as it seemed more exciting. Baby came and she did not take to the Nuna as we had hoped, instead of settling in the Nuna she became unsettled until being removed from the chair and falling asleep in the arms of me ... As much as we loved having those lovely newborn months with her sleeping in our arms my partner and me weren't able to work collectively to keep on top of the chores or help my oldest with remote learning thanks to the onset of Covid, something had to give! In her first few months our baby very quickly demonstrated to us that she had a preference for being bounced so buying a bouncing chair seemed like the logical and natural solution. In comes the Baby Bjorn seat. Long story short- it worked a treat! We were able to bounce our baby off to sleep and detach from eachother slightly and start running a more cohesive household again. The seat is genius, it easily folds down completely flat for easy storage and transportation, it has washable covers which come in a range of contemporary shades, we bought two and they apply very easily to the seat frame, the covers are breathable so no sweaty sleeping babies during heatwaves and no cold babies during winter. The frame can be adjusted to suit your babies weight, the frame is also sensitive to the movement of your baby, the seat will bounce with every kick your baby does and soon enough your baby will realise and learn to bounce themselves to sleep. Of course now my baby is older, bigger and walking she has taken a fancy to her Nuna seat which gets the most use at the moment for day time naps. Her Baby Bjorn seat resides in her room for the minute, she likes to climb in it and sit there leisurely every now and again. At least I can say both purchases were worth it in the end.
This is 100% worth the money. My baby absolutely loves it! It’s so cute and actually really sturdy. Some reviews made me nervous, but after using it, I haven’t had any issues with it at all! It’s adjustable to different angles depending on your preference and versatile depending on what your day looks like! I’m a working mom and this is absolutely perfect for the office, kitchen, or anywhere really. One of my favorite things is that it’s super lightweight and comes with a bag for easy travel. Just buy it!

Not only did that other one get hated by my little one this chair was by far our favorite registry item. So much so that we purchased it for at least 7 other new parents… it would turn into their favorite item as well. This bouncer let’s me take a bath in peace! 😅 My baby does not like to sit on this for long durations but when I need to get something done, this is my go to seat. My kid is 3 month old and we use this bouncer practically everyday. Couple of things that I like about this bouncer: - removable and washable cover, with the amount of spit ups this thing has seen! - no electric wires or batteries, makes me feel super safe to take this bouncer anywhere in the house - something about this bouncer makes my baby relax when he is constipated, we jokingly call this the poop seat. My kid doesn’t really like the toys that come with the bouncer but it maybe an age thing. I highly recommend getting one of these.
