My daughter was a ‘needs-to-be-held-100%-of-the-time’ baby, which is cute for the first week. Soon desperation hit we tried almost every bouncer available in the market from the electric swivel kind to the static ones. Literally we got to a point where price didn’t matter, we just needed a nap and a hot shower without a crying baby. Then we tried the babybjorn, and God knows how much I regret not buying it earlier. My daughter would just sit there without crying, bouncing herself.. its was amazing! I 10000% recommended this to any new moms

For almost $300 I don’t think it’s worth the price. BUT I can say this is lasting me a lot longer then several baby items I have. She was 1 month old in this picture and now she’s 9 months old and still fits perfect in it! I put it in the kitchen while I’m cooking so she can watch me , I take it to the park or to relatives homes so she always has somewhere to sit. As a baby I could just rock her with my foot but now now she has learned how to bounce herself in it and enjoys hanging out in it . I bought mine used in mint condition for $50 so I feel like I’m getting my moneys worth. Now had I laid the almost $300 I would feel stupid lol . It’s basically fabric strapped to some metal . Not electronic gizmos or anything…..

When I became pregnant with my 2nd baby I was adamant I would have everything, including a bouncing chair as well as a swinging chair! I chose my models and narrowed it down the the Baby Bjorn bouncer and the Nuna Leaf Grow swinging chair. As we spent more and more money my dreams of having every type of chair and every type of play mat for different types of stimulus turned into a "stop being unrealistic and choose one or the other situation." I went with the Nuna as it seemed more exciting. As much as we loved having those lovely newborn months with her sleeping in our arms my partner and me weren't able to work collectively to keep on top of the chores or help my oldest with remote learning thanks to the onset of Covid, something had to give! In her first few months our baby very quickly demonstrated to us that she had a preference for being bounced so buying a bouncing chair seemed like the logical and natural solution. In comes the Baby Bjorn seat. Long story short- it worked a treat! We were able to bounce our baby off to sleep and detach from eachother slightly and start running a more cohesive household again. The seat is genius, it easily folds down completely flat for easy storage and transportation, it has washable covers which come in a range of contemporary shades, we bought two and they apply very easily to the seat frame, the covers are breathable so no sweaty sleeping babies during heatwaves and no cold babies during winter. The frame can be adjusted to suit your babies weight, the frame is also sensitive to the movement of your baby, the seat will bounce with every kick your baby does and soon enough your baby will realise and learn to bounce themselves to sleep. Of course now my baby is older, bigger and walking she has taken a fancy to her Nuna seat which gets the most use at the moment for day time naps. Her Baby Bjorn seat resides in her room for the minute, she likes to climb in it and sit there leisurely every now and again. At least I can say both purchases were worth it in the end.

3 kids and they all loved this chair. We had purchased the mamaroo 4.0 as well and they never wanted to sit on that thing. They always calmed down and enjoyed sitting on the Björn bouncer. When they get bigger you can flip the cover and use the other side without buckle. I’m glad I got a neutral color as I was able to use it with all 3 kids. I love that it folds flat so I can store under the sofa and take it with me to the park or when I’m visiting people. There are different levels to adjust the recline. The fabric washes clean in the machine and drier. This chair feels safe and ergonomic. I cannot find one issue or complaints about this chair. I highly recommend it.
We bought this for my son just before he turned 4 months old & wish we’d had it from birth!He absolutely loves it! He seems so comfortable in it & the position of the toy bar is perfect. By his second go in the chair he’d figured out how to play with it and has so much fun spinning & watching the shapes.He gently bounces himself in it & is really content. It’s the only thing he seems happy in that allows me a few minutes to grab a drink/put some washing on etc. Total game changer!The chair itself is pretty light weight and is nowhere near as bulky as some other bouncers/rockers. I can’t rate it highly enough - it’s been worth every penny for us.
I bought this a week ago on recommendation from my sister. I have a fisher price bouncer and use it to set my 3 month old down when I need to get something done but he didn't really like it that much. I was hesitant to spend so much more money for another bouncer but man this thing is like night and day. He loves it and the bouncing mechanism is so sensitive that even his small movements generate a bounce and keep him happier in it for longer. I highly recommend it and if you are on the fence go for it. You won't regret it. I also recommend the googly eye toy attachment. Another item that seems outrageously overpriced yet somehow he is enchanted by it. He holds onto it like a ride it is so cute!
We love the BabyBjorn bouncer but there is definitely a quality difference in the fabrics. We’ve been using it for around 5 months and have had to wash it 4/5 times from diaper leaks. The balance soft fabric is already getting holes from washing around the seams. We bought an addition cover in the Bliss fabric and it seems to be a lot more durable. Removing a star for the fabric durability difference but otherwise I do recommend in the Bliss fabric.
With my first baby I got a cheap bouncer seat with the vibrator in it available just about anywhere. It quickly became one of the more despised baby items and was donated. My experience with traditional baby bouncer seats is that babies do not like or notice the vibrator setting-it's just a waste of money (they eat expensive batteries), they are bulky and feel cheaply made, they are very quickly outgrown, and are usually an eye sore (the baby stuff is cute at first but as a first time parent you'll more than likely start to feel like you are drowning in a home full of "cutesy" baby things). No pulling or untangling the belt buckles to remove it and it washes very nicely (i.e. No pilling!). Possibly what really makes this worth the price is the longevity of use. Being able to use this through toddler hood is what seals the deal-nor do I have to worry about my current toddler trying to use it when baby is not. I really wish I would've looked past the price tag of this seat with my first baby to see the true value in such a functional well designed baby product. Definitely a must have item for new (or new again!) parents! P.s. if price really is an issue consider buying an "open box" condition one from amazon for a great discount.
I really wish I would have bought it sooner! I we literally tried everything to make my reflux baby girl happy. From swings, to play mats, to car rides and nothing worked! I am so happy with this purchase! It’s the best baby item on the market in my opinion. It has 3 different levels of incline and it’s super easy to transport from room to room. It also folds super easy and it very very light! My baby absolutely loves it! I would definitely recommend this to any parent! I got my happy baby back and it literally takes little to no effort to bounce it. I can do it with one toe or finger. Thank you BabyBjörn!
