The new Pure Strike 16x19 is for advanced striker players who speed up the ball & need responsiveness to increase their precision. An optimized string pattern with wider spacing of the crosses provides more power, while Hybrid Frame Technology gives you the unique combination of power and control. Wider beam sections in the throat and at 3/9/12 o’clock enhances precision and increases stability at ball impact. More powerful than the previous Pure Strike (2017), this racquet has a rather rigid frame that will not move much at impact. That will provide very lively but controlled strokes. The headsize of 98 sq. in. adds precision and maneuverability, particularly at the net and at the service line. The well balanced 305g allow the player to feel real stability when hitting the ball, which will promote control without making any compromises on power and ball speed. Finally, the string pattern 16 x 19 is the perfect balance between power, control and spin potential. This racquet is used on the professional tours by Dominic Thiem (Austria) and Alizé Cornet (France).

I'm a 3.5 player who was away from the game for a number of years before returning to it. I used to play with a Pro Staff, so I started back with the black (non-CounterVail) Pro Staff. But the Pro Staff started to feel a little bit too flexible -- not much room for error on shots not struck quite right. I was looking for a happy medium. I tried the Pure Aero but didn't like it. I'm 6'4" 200 and a former football player, and powerful rackets just give me no control. This was just about what I hoped for: It's definitely not as much power as the Aero, but has a bigger sweet spot than the Pro Staff and is a great defensive racket if you like to wear down opponents. I have it strung with RPM Blast 17, and I may experiment with other strings if I decide I want more power in the future.

Have been using the new Pure Strike Project One7 for a couple weeks now. Was looking for a control orientated racquet that still packed a decent punch to it when needed. Off the ground this bat has all the control & accuracy a player with a good swing would need. At net it is very manouverable, not a 'point & shoot' racquet at net but has enough control and power to put the ball where you want it to go. Great Racquet to serve with. For a racquet with swing weight of 320grams it feels really whippy when serving to get good amounts of spin on the ball. Feels like a great racquet for an attacking style of player. I'd recommend this racquet to anyone looking for a high end quality racquet that will satisfy all your hitting needs. Babolat got it right with this Pure ... The racquet is a good product with custom string. The delivery was fast. However, when the string was sprayed with Babolat logo, the spray was on to the frame. It was not serious but disappointed as a present.
Very arm friendly and super control, very maneuverable, it's like a cheat code !i have played with yonex vcore duel g 330 and babolat pure aero tour but i find this to suit me the most esp. if you have arm issues else you may go for previous version of this as well.
I would recall my experience with this racquet a bit different compared to others. When I first demoed it, I was impressed on how stable it was even on off centre hits and I also did not need to use a vibration dampener at all. The racquet also has good plow through and a healthy stock swing weight that won't cause too much fatigue. Once I purchased this frame and strung it with a hybrid, it was totally different from when I demoed it. I noticed a drop in control and found the string bed to be erratic when hitting my usual shots, especially my one handed backhand. Over the next few weeks I found it hard to control my shots and made a lot of unforced errors during my matches even if I reduced my pace dramatically. Overall In my experience, the main highlight is the serve and I would recommend to try a full bed of poly and if you are willing to demo, try both the 16x19 and 18x20 version and I would guarantee that either one of them would not dissapoint.
I've only been able to use the racquet a couple of times before tennis has been banned (Covid-19) but pleased with it off a small sample.I did pay an extra $10 for a case and it's the worst case I've ever seen. Absolutely no padding and I'd have thought it was worth about $1 if bought on its own let alone as an add on to an expensive purchase. Don't buy the case.
I bought this racquet strung with hybrid Excel 16 and RPM power 17 strings. It came with a static weight of 330 grams, measured on a postal scale. This is 7 or 8 grams heavier than specifications from Babolat. Most of this extra, off spec weight was tilted towards the head, giving it a more a head heavy balance than factory specs. The higher weight and off spec head heavy balance make the swing weight quite high (I estimate over 340). You need to be an advanced player who normally uses heavy swing weights to enjoy this. If you are an intermediate or advanced player who likes whippy racquets with swing weights below 330, you will struggle and be late in the timing of your strokes.I have also have the same racquet, but the previous version (project one 7), and off ... It is solid, has power, spin, control, and it is feels less stiff than the previous version. However, the feel is more dampened.I have heard from other players similar complaints about unacceptable variances in weight and balance from Babolat. I am not sure how you can minimize this unless you ask the racquet to be weighed and have its balance checked before you buy it.
Excellent products (tennis rocket and a tennis bag). It is not my first time. The products are great. It would be much convenient though to get a message if one of the products is not available or missed in the store in order to be able to change a product, as the variety if products us really large.I will gladly continue to buy from this site.
My first hit with this racquet was a rush. It was a practice session and I did not want to stop hitting. What a weapon! The weight and balance of the racquet endows your shots with major grunt. The frame composition confers superb control and positioning. I had it strung at 52lbs with a poly in the mains and a synth gut in the crosses.
