I bought this as a step up from my previous daily SPF 25 since it's getting sunny! I bought this recently and was really excited because I fell in love with the Avene Tolerance Extreme Emulsion which has quickly become one of my holy grails. I purchased the UV Emulsion as it contains SPF and I thought this would be a great day-cream/ base layer for my makeup. Boy was I wrong. This cream applies nothing like the other Avene creams I have used -- it applies greasy and after an hour or so, it starts pilling like crazy even if it's the only product I've got on my face. FYI, pilling is when the cream starts flaking off/ forming clumps of product when you apply other products on top of it or touch your face.I am extremely disappointed by this formulation and will not be purchasing again. Would not reccomend. :(

I am a big fan of Avene products particularly their SPF creams. I had not used this particular one before but it sounded perfect for me so I gave it a go. I will admit I haven't decided if I will buy it again. It is a decent SPF but I expected a tinted moisturiser and this isn't, it is just an SPF that is not white so doesn't give even a light coverage (my preferred). It is also a lower SPF than my usual so I think I will be returning to my previous Avene product.

I used this moisturiser each morning. It’s hydrating with a lovely rich but non-greasy formula; perfect for my dehydrated, sensitive skin. It absorbs nicely and works well as a base for my makeup. I love that it includes SPF30, as it saves me a step in my skin care routine and having to buy two separate products. As with the other products in the Avene range, it’s a reasonable price for excellent quality French skin care.An essential everyday moisturiser.

My go to moisturiser. I’ve been using this for almost a year now. Perfect all year round moisturiser for my sensitive skin. Smells nice, good light texture not oily or heavy. Leaves my skin feeling silky soft.

The product is of a fairly light consistency and I find that it sinks in very well with absolutely no white cast at all. My skin is extremely sensitive to the sun at the moment due to medication I take, and this has stopped me from burning better than other products. I’m so sorry to say this is not ‘Light’ at all, it leaves an awful sticky shiny film over my face from application that will not sink in. It’s not suitable for my oily skin and makes me look and feel dreadful. I’m so so sad because this has replaced the ONLY Spf face cream I EVER found that was light and comfortable enough on my oily slightly sensitive blemish prone skin. The Spf 20 old version was a dream and this replacement couldn’t be more opposite. It’s unusable for me. I’m lost without the old version and will be now searching for a replacement but seeing as I’ve been searching for 20 years to find the ‘perfect’ day cream I doubt I’ll find another. Such a shame.
