The steamer is very lightweight with easily removable legs and opens to a large saucepan.
The 'feet' and bottom rim - all the non-perforated sections - have extremely sharp edges, creating a serious risk of cutting fingers when handling and scratching the surface of any saucepan. The item's function is a very useful one but made almost irrelevant by this poor manufacturing as we are nervous to use it.
At last - large enough for lots of vegetables !! Love it. Great quality too.
this is a really versatile piece of equipment, I keep it in the oven between cooks. Works for small or large amounts. Great value for money.
Product does as described. The aluminium finish of the legs are a little jagged and sharp though. Only worried it might ruin the teflon finish of my pot.
Product does exactly as intended, it steams vegetables perfectly. I like to cut vegetables into smaller bits when steaming in order to evenly steam it, so this product is perfect in that it holds all veggies without risk of falling out like my other steamer basket. It also fits perfectly in my slow cooker/steamer.
love the flexibility with this and it sits nicely inside the strainer when not in use.
