Autoglym Polar Blast Snow Foam 2.5lt for Foam Gun or Pressure Washer

Good rich foam. Lifts dirt fairly well. Clings for a long time. Follow the instructions !.I can only base this on having used this product once.When used in conjunction with the other products in the range I, a complete amateur, achieved a very nice finish.

BRILLIANT PH NEUTRAL CAR FOAM

A great ph neutral car foam that delivers incredible pre-cleaning value and powerful sticky foam. I followed the instructions to the letter and pre-mixed 200ml to 1 litre and left it soak for 10 minutes after foaming it on prior to pressure washing off. The results were amazing. It removed nearly 100% of built up road grime and dirt from the skirts and lower parts of my car easily. The entire car was left squeaky clean to the touch and doesn't appear to have reduced the beading of the previous detail. However, I will reduce the mix to 150ml or even 100ml per litre depending on the dirt build up next time.

Doesn't do anything

I bought this to look after a new car I purchased and it's a complete waste of money. I followed directions, hosed it off and no difference. This was on a car that had accumulated 1 months of road grime (no mud) and was nightly garaged.I tried again and carefully used a white nozzle on a petrol Karcher pressure washer and still no difference. This is grime that simply wipes off with a wet finger. Sure, rinsing your car before washing is normal as it removes particles that will scratch but I thought this would at least do as videos and people claimed but nothing.I even tried 2 doors with the polar blast and 2 doors with straight water and there was no difference in removal of grime not was of washing.It just adds another step to washing your car (spray on then ... MoreI bought this to look after a new car I purchased and it's a complete waste of money. Excellent product

I did research on this product before buying. I brought this as I have used Autoglym products in the past. The car was filthy from a trip away and travelling on dust roads. Product was amazing, I did require 2 coats due to condition of car. The product goes a long way , I had some left over so did my wives car as well. Very easy to use with great results. I like the idea that you don’t have to rub the paint work (reduce small scratches).

Foam and Cleaning Power

Avid weekend detailer with 6-8 other decent car soaps in my cleaning arsenal but none have come close to Polar Blast in terms of non-contact, pre-wash, cleaning effectiveness. Tried it on my compact suv a few days after driving on a wet construction road. Followed mixing instructions and applied with an average foam cannon to a dry car. Foam was amazing and stuck where I put it. Nice fall day out of the sun meant there was little chance of the soap drying out during the 10 minutes of dwell time. Pressure washer rinse and air dry resulted in an incredible level of clean on both the paint and all the black plastic moldings. The subsequent contact wash was made so easy. Impressed.

Good product in the right situation

The foam is very thick and tacky, and the bottle goes a very long way, but I would only use this product after a full hand wash (or if you have a ceramic coating and the car isn’t very dirty) the detergents aren’t as aggressive at removing road film as some other products.The upside is that this product seems to leave very little residue. I would suggest that if you have a vehicle that you do a two buck clean each week, this would be a good product to use “in between” washes to keep it looking fresh.

Great foam, smell gets overwhelming

This is really good quality foam. I only have the cheapo foam cannon that came with my pressure washer, so I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised when it delivered a nice, thick foam that clung to the car (even though it was wet from being pre-rinsed). Turns out the cheapo foam cannon only has a reservoir capacity of 500mL, so I ended up having a foam/water ratio more towards 1:4 than 1:5, so that could explain the still-thick foam. At any rate, I used this for my first post-winter wash of the year, and was slightly disappointed that it really didn't seem to remove very much on its own - my pre-rinse removed more dirt than this did. However, I also wasn't able to leave it on the full recommended 10 minutes, either, because the sun came ... MoreThis is really good quality foam. I then reloaded the foam cannon and used it as the soap for my follow-on hand wash. That was helpful because I could continuously wash the car (except for rinsing the mitt) without always having to go back to a bucket to pick up soap. The end results were very good, though not quite as good as the Chemical Guys Extreme Body Wash & Wax that I've been using. By moving quickly, I was able to foam the whole car with just one foam cannon bottle mixture, so it looks like this foam should last for 25 washes or so - you can decide if the economics make sense for you. My only gripe has to do with the scent. Somewhat pleasant at first, it quickly becomes overwhelming because it's ALL you can smell after awhile - with the whole car (and driveway...) covered in foam, there's just no escaping it. I was actually quite thankful when it was finally time to rinse. I think for this reason alone I will not be buying it again. So I'm glad I didn't spring for a fancier foam cannon first.

Minimal Effort great performance

Great results with minimal effort, I will certainly be buying this again. Snow cannon produces high quality foam lifting the majority of grime. There may be some requirement to still use a sponge on some of the more difficult areas but overall I am impressed with the Auto Glym performance.

Superior Contactless Wash Performance

I am very impressed with the job the polar blast does. As a first step, contactless spray to loosen the majority of the dirt, so that you are not grinding that dirt into the paint finish and creating swirl marks, it does a great job, It removes the road grime, salt and dirt in winter and the majority of the brake dust. This makes it much safer to use the Polar Wash for the contact wipe down of the vehicle. Also gets inside the wheel wells and other hard to get at places.
