Audio-Technica AT-LP60 Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable

Excellent beginner turntable. Have been using this since the past almost one month now and I am really enjoying this.I have a pretty dated AV receiver (the Yamaha HTR-3067) and the built-in phono preamp that comes with this turntable works really well.Loving it!Received it the very next day of placing the order. As ever, excellent support by HiFiMART!

I am a old timer and have collected Vinyl from the 70s. I was looking for a replacement of my aging Denon Turn table. Found the Audio technical Lp-60 at a reasonable price at HifiMart. What I needed was a low cost, simple, automatic turntable with built in preamp, and with low profile , small footprint to play LPs and EPs singles at 33, 45 rpm, with simple switching between the two sizes/speeds.I was nervous of buying online. Just called HifiMart and had a chat. Got the confidence to go ahead. Called them up again to find the availability and delivery schedules. True to every word of their commitment the product arrived on time with great packing.Played a few of my old records. Amazing audio reproduction. I was gifted this turntable for my 40th birthday and shockingly, 7 years later, it is still going strong. My collection of vinyl records has grown to a number that I am a bit ashamed of when I think of the money I’ve spent. Yikes. The sound is fantastic. It plays back at 33 or 45 rpm and connects easily to a receiver and sub. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to start playing vinyl records.

Using Audio-Technica headphones has been a great experience. The sound quality stands out with its clear and balanced audio, featuring rich bass and sharp highs that make listening to music, podcasts, or movies really enjoyable. They are also very comfortable, with well-cushioned and lightweight design that’s easy on the ears for extended use. The build feels sturdy and well-made, suggesting durability. The noise isolation is effective, helping me concentrate on my audio without interruptions from external sounds. Overall, Audio-Technica provides a high-quality product that offers excellent sound, comfort, and durability.

Want to listen to your favorite music retro-style without breaking the bank? This turntable is perfect! Playback speeds are just right with no choppy or background noise disrupting your music experience. Apart from this, the needle/stylus automatically stops once an album is finished. Cool right? Instructions are clear and concise making set up quick and easy. Most importantly sound quality is sublime.

Audio Technica LP60/LP60X

Good entry level turntable, with option to use an amplifier for sound or a hifi system if you have an auxilary input on the hifi. Simple to use and with minimal assembly required. Don't be put off by those audiophile snobs who claim that the LP60 will ruin records- It won't. The tracking force (the amount of force the stylus puts on the record) is preset at 3.5 grammes. The big record companies released a spec sheet for records back in the 1960's and the ideal maximum tracking force qouted was 5-6 grammes. The old large portable automatic record players from the 50's, 60's and 70's usually used to track at around 5-6 grammes and millions of records from those days survive in good condition. Some people will say that there is no "Anti skate" system for the tone arm- Yes there is but it's pre set. You are more likely to damage records by playing them with a damaged/worn stylus. Audio Technica suggest changing the stylus after 400-500 hours use Some people will say that the speed fluctuates on LP60's, yes, sometimes it does but that is usually down to a stretched drive belt that starts to slip, which is a servicable part anyway- Both simple to change and cheap to buy. It can simply be changed in a minute. The LP60 can trace it's roots back to the early 1990's, the mechanical workings have been in production at least 30 years, so the design must work otherwise people wouldn't buy them. All in all, an excellent starter turntable but the lp60's with the X suffix are the ones to go for as there are one or two little tweeks.

Awesome sauce...buy it!

Easy setup, took longer to unpack than it did to set up and get to playing albums. For $129 I had low expectations but I thought I'd try it before taking a chance on another vintage. Well, I love it! Very pleasantly surprised at the great sound! I have an extensive album collection, originals going back to the 60's and I've played about 10 random ones and they haven't sounded so good in years.I HIGHLY recommend this unit.

Edifier R1280T & Audio-Technica LP60X Turntable & Speaker Bundle Black / Standard (LP60X)

Hello All!I bought this to review and check all my old vinyl LPs, 12" singles and 45s.It's amazingly simple to set-up. Everything was up and running in about 10-15 minutes (including unboxing the stuff). I went for the Bluetooth record deck which connects to the speakers by just holding down the Bluetooth button and the light changes from red to blue when connected to the speakers - then you are all set! The basic controls are start, stop, lift and lower tone arm (useful), speed (33 / 45) and then a 12" and 7" setting. The start button moves the tone arm automatically to whatever the 12"/7" setting is and starts playing so it's a piece of cake to use. You can also raise the tone arm and move it manually where you want, press start and then lower it if you need ... MoreHello All!I bought this to review and check all my old vinyl LPs, 12" singles and 45s.It's amazingly simple to set-up. Perfect turntable. Basic. Nothing fancy. Love it.

I have a 40 year old stereo system. I recently had my amp serviced to get it in good working condition and the tape deck is currently being worked on. I didn’t originally have a turntable with my setup, so I was looking for one. I got this turntable because it was brand new, I wanted one quickly and also because it looked simple, no Bluetooth or anything fancy or over the top. Just basic. My records sound fantastic. This is a decent turntable and pairs perfectly with my 40 year old system. Easy setup with the aid of YouTube. Perfect for my musical needs. Very pleased.

Review of AT-LP60X Belt Drive Turntable - Black

Good Points: I had read quite a few reviews before settling on this. I had a record player in the 80s before going to study. But then didn't have one for years but still had all my collection. Finally, I got round to buying a player to plug into our stereo system. Some of the portable systems had reviews saying the sound wasn't too good. And there's plenty of things that are very expensive. This seemed to be between, a proper player, but not a ridiculous price. And I'm very pleasantly surprised. Most importantly, the sound is perfectly good. Okay, I feed it into an amp with a phono setting and that works well. I believe you can also do without that phone setting. Or just use headphones into the back. Okay, I feed it into an amp with a phono setting and that works well. I believe you can also do without that phone setting. Or just use headphones into the back. Only thing was that the headphone jack to stereo inputs (for the amp) cable was too short, but I had one of those spare anyway. The auto start and stop works just fine on 7 and 12 inch records just fine. You can also do it manually if you just want a single track, not the whole album. And never had a single problem yet with jumping or anything. So, if you want a turntable with decent sound, don't need it to be outrageously portable (i.e. the suitcase models) and don't want to break the bank, then this might just be for you.
