I bought the GTX 1650 to replace my 10-year-old GTX 460. Yes, I know, I'm WAY behind but I do mostly console gaming these days and didn't need a new card until now. Between bitcoin mining and Covid I refused to pay the obscenely high prices on graphics cards. As of March 2022 they are still expensive but are affordable enough and I really need to replace my GTX 460 that overheats and crashes when the kids play play Roblox. This card is fast and cool running and is exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't be happier unless it was lower in price, which isn't an option right now due to supply shortages.

Look, Cuda cores are hard to come by these days. Yes, this card is older, and yes it costs more than it should, but it's 2021 - and that is the cost of doing business. Asus makes good stuff, it's probably worth it, or so I thought. I don't know what genius designed this card, but it won't fit in your case. Note the last picture that shows the offset fanbox. This means you need a good 3/8-1/2" clearance beyond the slot. Now also note the power plug is on the same side - aka outside. So you can really only mount this PCI card with an inward-facing case. Maybe that's great for all you ATX gamer boyz, but not so much for me. We'll find it a new home for it, once a suitable replacement can be purchased.

This GPU will surprise you! It was a fun build because I was helping my little brother upgrade from his much needed Alienware Pre-built that was running like it was going to catch fire. Really, the thing would run like it's on full load while on idle with its fans running on full power lmao. Any who, he was grateful that I paired this 1650 super with a Ryzen 5 3600. Let me tell you, I not only saved him big bucks on unnecessary hardware, but this particular combo performs like a charm. It was enough to make him say "This is why I game on PC over consoles." This brought myself a whole new light why you don't need the best GPU or processor to enjoy gaming. This card provides what you need and then some. Unless you're playing 1440p or trying to render 4k images you ... MoreThis GPU will surprise you! I transitioned to an all ASUS/ ROG build because of my brothers preference to buying ASUS parts!

This is an excellent GPU for my sons steam games. There were a few games that ran so choppy with no card that I dusted off a 10 year old card and it barely improved anything. So I went for a modest upgrade since real new 2020 GPU's are running so scarce. This fit the bill, Micro Center had 3 of them and two other types. For under $200 this does what it needs to and then some. It can run steam and pretty high quality settings at 1080P @60hz. Thats all his monitors can handle and we have it set up dual display so he can discord or whatever else he wants. I popped it in my work computer and played warzone on a 4k monitor and while it was nothing special it was playable with the proper settings. If you need something to hold you over until cards become more available ... MoreThis is an excellent GPU for my sons steam games. This was my first purchase from B&H. The experience was smooth with no issues. My card arrived on Tuesday after ordering it on Sunday all with free shipping. The card itself works great, just as I expected, no problems with installation or operation.I would highly recommend B&H and the ASUS GeForce GTX 1650. I am not a gamer so I just needed a card upgrade that would allow me to have plenty of power for my media, my research for my work and live streaming. This card is enough for all of that and more while running multiple monitors. Thanks B&H you came highly recommended by a audio visual tech and you sure came thru for me. I will absolutely be returning for other needed products that you provide.Jeff D.
So far this card has been great! I got it not really for gaming but for running a very graphics-intensive cartography program for map making (Wonderdraft). My old "daily driver" couldn't run it at more than 1200 x 900 size (out of 4000 x 3200) and even my newer machine lacking a dedicated graphics card bogged down. [Note: that PC is an i5 11th Gen with 8gb memory). But adding this card enables me to run it at blazing speeds even at 4k. Awesome! I expect it would do a credible job with gaming but I'm more of a console guy.
The 1650 is a good card for mid 1080p setting for most games (90%). This card was panned in 2919 as being unnecessary for the price. However in 2021/2022 it is a very useful card for those that just want to play a game or two. I want to thank Microcenter for selling these 1650’s for $210-$220 while Newegg and Amazon are selling the same card for $400-$500. Thank you Microcenter for helping a poor gamer/content creator out. You also had the best price out there on the 3060 ti @ $590 too bad you did not have more of them :) . Putting a 30 day window to buy each graphics card is a great thing, thank you.
Saw this puppy. Got it shipped to my front door for $300. I mean yeah, it's got 4GB of memory but you know what.. I'm not looking for anything too fancy right meow. Plays all the games I play without missing a beat. NFS heat on Ultra, RE:Village on Medium/high AC:Odyssey on High. No complaints whatsoever here. I'm a graphic designer as well. Handles complex vector-based illustrations & animations (within Adobe Illustrator & Animate respectively) seamlessly.. might upgrade when I've got a bigger budget and higher demands.. But for now, this is smooth as silk!
So far so good. Fairly quiet but I suppose that is expected given its low power use that is easier to cool than the heavyweight cards. Only been using it a few days so we will so how it ages. Performance is pretty good for esports titles. 1080p on fortnite and apex on high runs smooth with a 12100f, another budget component ($110). Card is pretty short lengthwise as well so it fits in pretty much any computer case. I installed this in a mid-tower case and there was a lot of room leftover. The PCB is fairly small and the heatsink/cooler is about the same length as well. Only needs a 6-pin power connector.
FOR CLARITY I PLAY STAR CITIZEN, ESCAPE FROM TARKOV, ARMA AND VALHEIM!!!i got this card when my last 1650 died due to brown out an then a power surge :(in star citizen with the highest settings @1080p and get around 35-45 FPS!!! that doesn't sound that impressive until you realize people are playing on 2080 ti and up and getting 50-60FPS at 1440p+ !!!with that being said, there are a whole host of cards that can and will do better than this, however the price difference for those cards is almost $100-$200 more than this!!!!For the price, considering what the world is like to day with miners and Covid and the silicon shortage, you cant really do a better BUDGET card for $219.the card is good enough to play just about anything on medium to high settings ... MoreFOR CLARITY I PLAY STAR CITIZEN, ESCAPE FROM TARKOV, ARMA AND VALHEIM!!!i got this card when my last 1650 died due to brown out an then a power surge :(in star citizen with the highest settings @1080p and get around 35-45 FPS!!! that doesn't sound that impressive until you realize people are playing on 2080 ti and up and getting 50-60FPS at 1440p+ !!!with that being said, there are a whole host of cards that can and will do better than this, however the price difference for those cards is almost $100-$200 more than this!!!!For the price, considering what the world is like to day with miners and Covid and the silicon shortage, you cant really do a better BUDGET card for $219.the card is good enough to play just about anything on medium to high settings @1080P (your millage may vary dep. on what you're trying to play)the card has 2 fans that keep it cool enough to not worry that you're going to melt it down and so far i have not had to do much of anything to it other than run the VF and O.C. scanner in the software to get the best performance i can.
