ASTRO A10 Gaming Headset - Blue

In terms of sound quality it’s great and clear; if you need to really try hard the footsteps of the opposing team or just want to listen to music then these are pretty worth it and the mic quality allows for clear and CHRISP audio. It’s so crisp that I gotta add the H for the extra but accurate exaggeration. But moving on I do enjoy the replaceable plug system as most of my headphones have met an early end due to garbage wiring turning my sessions into an autistic ear stimming simulator and that was by no means disrespectful but an accurate description. The only thing I really dislike about the headphones is the size as it cannot cover my braids at all and kinda bites the dust trying to Fit over a ponytail.

Daughter loves them

So I got these headphones originally for my daughter for movies for her tablet, video calls, and zoom classes. Gaming is kind of an after thought in her situation but man these things rock… I have a different, also very good brand but I might have to straight up trade her. These Astro A10s are indeed A 10 in my book they are over the head you do need to make sure the cord is pushed in all the way on the headphones or the sound goes in and out. The headphones are large and easily fit over the whole ear comfortably. The headphone itself has a tilt in it to perfectly fit your ear. The mic is bendable rubber and easily moves out of the way it also auto mutes your mic when you flip it up.. The cushioning is ample but there is a strong "speaker store" order as my husband called it. I would let them air out for a few days for young kids and smell sensitive people as they gave me a bit of a headache. Aside from the smell the only negative is the excessive amount of plastic used in packaging the headphones. Though they are very well protected and look all high end in their fancy packaging I found it a bit excessive and would have rather seen some of the compostable cardboard type packaging. There are like 3 plastic bags plus a full tray they sit in the middle of with a plastic cover over the plastic try into the cardboard box into the shipping box it was just so much for something so small and none of it reusable

Do not buy this

Just bought it came to my house. I bought it to replace the old one. The old one works better. I don’t even know how that’s Possible literally I think he found it in the dumpster sound quality disappointing I bought it to replace my other microphone. My other headset broke this microphone doesn’t even work. It’s been Warehouse for three years Looks like they put effort into making it look nice Just threw into a box and called it a day I want my real headset, but I paid $51 that I sell for $20. Give me the right headset. I am very disappointed one star never recommending this place ever even the right color Not even the right model can go that low. How do you miss on all 4 go get your car and actually drive to the place to get yourself

Great quality headset!

I recently got this A10 gaming headset for the playstation 4 and other devices from Walmart. It has really good sound and noise canceling capabilities. The cord has a standard earphone jack that can plug into your ps4 controller, or phone if you still have 3.5mm headphone jack. The quality is so good I thought the audio I was listening to was something making noise in my room. The headphone rest on top is adjustable but these headphones are a bit heavier than others so if you set it loose it make shift off of your head some depending on how you adjust it. When plugging the cord into the headphones I was having trouble getting the mic to work, a lot of reviews online say they could never get the microphone to work at all. The extended cord length is really handy so you have room to move around while playing your game. Also I really like the simple volume adjust design attached to the cord. It isn't clunky or too big and in the way, it's actually perfect and I would definitely recommend these headphones to others I know. The sound quality is great, design is sleek and clean looking and theres really no fuss when using them at all.

Great sound for a great $$$

The sound is what stands out with the A10's. The earcups are comfortable and get better with play time. These headsets are tough. You can twist them into a pretzel lol..no worries on construction. The headband on the other hand is where these headsets lose some points. It's not horrible but it does get a bit uncomfortable after a while..It's only a little piece of memory foam. I just slide the band forward or backward slightly to relieve any discomfort. Over all for the price..you can currently pick up the a10's for 25$ NEW. Go for it...Grab a set..you won't be disappointed.

After an injury years ago I am sensitive to heavy or things that press hard on my head but the Astro A10 PS4 Gaming Headset didn't bother me at all. My brother is the one with the PS4 so I had him try them on and he was just as impressed. After that I plugged the headset into the controller of his PS4 and got to gaming. Some adjustments were needed to the PS4's settings when switching the headset between single player and online multi-player. The headset performed well with several different games, including online multi-player.The product box said that the headset can also be used on Windows, Mac, and Android devices so if it had a headphone jack, I tried it. I tried listening to a variety of music styles on my laptop. I watched Youtube videos on my older iPhone and also checked out the voice calling capabilities, and yes, the flip the mic up to mute worked perfectly, and the sound quality was good on both ends. I even borrowed my mom's 4 year old Samsung phone, and, again it did great.So far, I'm impressed with the Astro A10 PS4 Gaming Headset and it's performance. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a decent headset at a decent price. And now, I have a world to save so I'd better get back to it...

Nice Wired Headphones

These white, wired, astro headphones are better than I expected honestly. The box says they work with PS5, PS4, XBOX, PC, MAC, and mobile but they also work when plugged into the docking station of a Switch. They shipped and work perfect plus I love the white and blue color.The padding around the ears are a nice soft cloth material so there is no worry of them chipping or peeling like some of my other headphones. The ear pieces also have a slight rocking axis to them to help them sit flush to the shape of your head. The headband and the microphone are more flexible than I've ever seen on a headset and yet hold their shape nicely, so you don't have to worry about either of them snapping or splitting. But to use with console controllers or a close Switch docking station it's the perfect length. There is a volume wheel on the wire so you can easily control the volume. There is also no mute button, to mute the mic you just flip the microphone up. It took my a minute to figure out who to adjust the band but they are adjustable, the design is just so sleek they look like they can't be adjusted when really they can.As for sound, they have a nice clear sound, not muddy at all and a nice amount of bass to them but it's not overwhelming. They don't get super loud at max volume but loud enough and do a good job at noise cancelling. Which is exactly what I was hoping for so my daughter can use them and I don't have to worry about her having the volume up too high and hurting her ears.

The consensus in our home is that the Astro headset is the best one we've ever tried, sound is awesome and it really enhances game play, as well as performance on games that are more audio dependent.The only drawback is that if you're a very physical player that tends to move around a lot, you'll have issue with the headset plug coming loose and distorting your audio on a regular basis. This could be resolved with a longer cord in combination with a coiled cord design in the future, but it's easy to fix while playing as the headset stands now - simply adjust the plug and continue your game.Definitely two thumbs way up, five stars, and cheers for the Astro A10 XB1 Headset!

Very Uncomfortable

I've had this headset for a couple of years and one of the biggest cons is that they're so uncomfortable, and I really mean it. The padding on the overhead is very minimal and with the force of your head against the "cushion" you'll easily start getting a headache in at least an hour. The ear paddings also aren't that great. They get warm pretty fast and applies pressure on your ears. The audio is great, for me at least. However, I wouldn't recommend these based on comfort alone.
