The remote setup on this unit is odd, you need to turn the light on using the on/off button, however you use the cct(colour change) button off. If you don't leave it off for 1 minute this will change the tri colour setting. None of this is in the user manual and takes at least 5 email to arlec, who don't read email they just follow the standard response chain, to find out this is a "feature" of this unit. Sorry this is a design/programming flaw not a feature.

Bought this last month to replace old AC fan. Good fan motor very quiet- on low speed you just can’t hear it. Assembly of blades etc straight forward BUT the electrical connectors really are cheap and nasty. What you can do is to take a nail and use it to spread the female sockets in each plug, otherwise you may find it is impossible to connect the plugs. Spending a little more on decent plugs would make this a much better product.The remote works well but good luck trying to work out which button to press when it is dark. The shape is symmetrical so you don’t know which way is up and the controls are embossed but not easy to distinguish.

Good modern looking fan..quiet operation.Doesn't seem to push as much air as I expected but seems to be just enough.The light people complain about is easy to use and documented in the manual.Turn it off and immediately back on (within 3 seconds) and it will change colour. Turn it off and on like normal operation (more than 3 seconds apart) and it stays the same colour as set. So unless your kids love flicking the light on and off like a disco you should have no problem.
Installed 3 of these all fine. The light operation is weird though. Following the instructions it doesn’t work. Only way to turn light off is to switch the light colour change button on remote.
Great fan , comes with remote and built in led light which is what I needed to replace an old fan.The design of this fan is very modern and looks very nice in any room.Only issue I have found is that I can’t figure out how to set which of the three shades of light as the off function cycles between the three colours. Not much info on the website about this but I will keep trying to figure it out
This would be in the top 3 fans I’ve ever installed (am a qualified electrician)More than half of the fan blade screws were cross threaded and then the ‘quick connect’ plugs were impossible to connect. I’ve stopped the instal of this fan midway to write this review. DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. it is dirt.Unsure of how well it works as I’m probably going to pull the dog down and take it back before I finish installing it
Great choice for bedrooms as the fan is very quiet and the lowest speed is good to circulate the air on those still nights. It's also nice to have colour options in the light
The ordering on line and purchase at the shop was very good. The service by the staff was great. I understand the 2 week holding period but coming from the bush to town isn't always easy to arrange. However, I got there and all was OK.
Good airflow and look-wise its nice. Works for a medium size room.But it takes a few seconds to get moving and when you switch on via remote, there is no indication that button has worked or the fan is switched on. You press the button and wait for 4-5 seconds for it to move. It takes about 10-20seconds to come to speed. And if you want to change the fan speed, another 5-10 seconds to transition Not recommended.Also the light has started to flicker. Just a month old fan. Not happy at all.
