Iâm used to not getting notifications at work with my old watch as my phone is put away in a locker and across a large resort. The Ultra 2 is able to still deliver notifications and answer phone calls effortlessly, making me have to remember to put it on silent mode or airplane mode daily. lol.The only issues I could state would be the removal of the Oxygen Sensor (was âremovedâ after a few months of sales due to a lawsuit and probably wonât be re-enabled) though the app is still present, and the slight sharpness of the display bezel. I have scrapped a few walls paint off with it when accidentally hitting them.Also though I understand the whole âreduce, recycleâ and âlow carbonâ aspect, the box you receive the Ultra 2 in does not make it feel like a $800 item. More akin to a cheap knock off watch. I really enjoyed the box and plastic case my Gen 1 Steel watch came in. It was more luxurious and presentable, and I personally kept it as a collectible item (which the Gen 1 watch was placed back in when I bought this one). For collectors or people thinking they could sell it years down the road like original iPods, cheap thin cardboard will NOT bring desirability or even keep a ânewâ look.

I purchased this after having the apple watch series 5 for some time (4+ years). This is quite the jump from that series (obviously). The overall reason I purchased this one over the series 9 was the durability and rugged style. I am not an extreme athlete or anything, but I do weight train regularly and go mountain biking, indoor rock climbing, hiking, and outdoor running, plus a few other recreational activities. I wanted something that could withstand all of those things, like my series 5 could, and then some. I wanted this to last longer than my previous series 5. I am also an itinerant employee meaning I travel to multiple schools / locations per day and need to be hands free for the safety of the students I work with. Emails and notifications are much easier to glance at while working. I have fairly small wrists and this watch is not too large or bulky in my opinion. I think any larger would turn me off to the size, but that's just because me wrists and hands are on the thinner side. I thought the size would bother me while weightlifting but it does not. I love it, such a great upgrade.

This thing is so well constructed.Secondly it features a Safire Crystal that is virtually indestructible, with a watch face that will never scratch, pretty much no matter what the watch face encounters. BTW; this one feature (Safire-Crystal), is the main reason I pursued this watch in the first place, as all of my previous Apple watches were awesome for what they were, but did sustain some scuffs and face scratches over time.Thirdly: Everything and I mean EVERYTHING just operates better on the Ultra-2 when compared to even the series 9 offering from Apple (a serious piece as well for the money). The Ultra-2's Bluetooth system pairs to anything faster and without issue, the phone works significantly better to and features improved volume. Even while on my wrist, with my arm at my side I can always hear my callers voice clearly without straining to make out what is being said, even if your utilizing the internal speaker, in a fairly noisy environment (think supermarket). Moreover, my caller can hear me extremely well when I am talking, again with my arm at my side. Plus, if you're using the phone with earbuds the overall quality of the sound is better than ever from a fidelity standpoint. Just great!4th-Accessing your music is faster and easier and sounds better as well when using your favorite pair of earbuds. The overall audio fidelity is greatly enhanced!5th- this may be the most impressive feature of this amazing electronic gizmo for your wrist; the quality of the screen in brightness, clarity and color saturation is, stunning! Even in broad daylight.6th- Bigger watch means bigger battery and much longer battery life on a single charge as a result. So far, I've only plugged the watch in with some power to spare, every other day. Nice feature as wellI know all of this seems to good to be true but remember, this is my third Apple watch and I pay attention to details. The operational differences are more than noteworthy. This thing is a dream!Finally keeping all of this in mind, this watch is drop-dead gorgeous as well. It silly I know, but I cannot stop looking at it! I've only had the watch for 10 days now and cannot tell you how many individuals stop me to inquire about it. I have the orange sport band, with the "California-Analog"-Face. Very disappointed that apple donât give you the blood oxygen app and canât seem to bother letting anyone know about this. Watch face selections through All the apps available are just a plain ripoff. Why these developer canât bother with being honest about charging you is beyond me. And for the love of God apple, let people control their own watch how they see fit.
