I could not go without my apple watch 3 series. I use it for everything. It has amazing features like activity where I can basically track my activity while I am running or exercising. It’s basically a fitness tracker that does an amazing job with my running walking or exercising. It also has an alarm so that I can set an alarm if my phone is not right near me. One of my favorite features is that if I’m on my telephone, I can actually receive a second call through my watch. That is handy a couple times. The watch is so adorable. I have dropped it. I have taken it into the shower so it’s definitely water resistant. It’s very comfortable to wear sometimes I forget that I even have it on. I love that I can listen to my music through the Watch as well via Amazon Music ... MoreI could not go without my apple watch 3 series. I use it for everything. I love that I can listen to my music through the Watch as well via Amazon Music Spotify or even Apple Music there’s even an App Store so you can download different apps for your watch and it basically also has all the apps that your iPhone would have and it has a camera remote as well so I could actually take a picture just using the remote from my watch. The watch is always accurate and it does update with daylight savings time it stores all of your contacts and it is up-to-date with Find My items and find people stores all of your maps so you can also use your map on your watch rather than on your cell phone per se when you’re in the car and you have your phone connected to your radio and you don’t wanna interrupt your radio, remind you to take your medication which is awesome. It keeps a great log of your medication’s. I also get my news and email on here as well so there’s nothing that this watch cannot do. It has Siri and it also has notifications so everything works just like your watch. It is absolutely perfect. I would die without this watch.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this watch. I hate to say that about anything but I have to be truthful. My husband bought me what I asked for, a Fitbit for MD. It worked fine, user friendly and all but the flimsy ratchet band is its weak link; I broke it easily the first day. That and the pins to fiddle with and be lost when replacing the band, smh—stupid design. So he returned it and I order a Huawei watch3 which, if I’m honest, I liked better than the Fitbit in looks and and strength in the band—but again that awful ratchet thing. It’s biggest problem was the screen wouldn’t swipe easily which I dont know if it was a defect or what, and the app is no bueno. Returned it and guess what? The Apple Watch 3 was on sale, only a few dollars more than the original Fitbit I had ... MoreI LOVE LOVE LOVE this watch. I hate to say that about anything but I have to be truthful. The Apple Watch 3 was on sale, only a few dollars more than the original Fitbit I had received. Now I am a long time Apple user—iMacs, iPads, iPhones, MacAir, etc, kind of sickening really—so I shouldn’t have been surprised they are up on their game. (Though I still use iPhone 7+ and don’t see I’m missing anything in my dtrs Xr.) I haven’t swam with it which was my prime motivation for a fitness watch but will update when I do. You have to download a sleep app and that worked great I’m sad to say—sleepless night last night. I hiked with it this morning and it seemed accurate, easy to use. I return texted my dtr on it all last night just to do so—you can speak your text or write it with your finger, both work great. I actually haven’t used the music or radio functions which require a Bluetooth headset but mine downloaded 11 minutes of my favorite music. It has a camera function which I find it misleading to say it has a camera—it is essentially a remote for the camera which is on your phone. Of course I couldn’t imagine a real camera being this tiny but I couldn’t figure out how it worked either until I heard my phone snapping pictures of the counter from across the room. I quite like the Breathe app which sounds ridiculous but we are a nation of shallow breathers because we don’t exercise enough (well I swim three hours a week and hike two but most people don’t.) Yet I like being reminded to focus on breathing and I set it at the longest intervals so I will deep breathe—good to lower blood pressure. I love the many faces of this watch and after playing around with them, even using a recent picture looking down into my Betta fish tank and the mandala made of its colors decided on the traditional look ( all above) with my monogram. I will eventually get more bands and a cover but for now the white matches my iPhone so I’m happy. Someone said you’ll never need another watch and I’d say that’s correct—until series 6 or 7 maybe. Oh one thing more, I don’t know about the battery life yet and some people complained you can’t wear it to sleep because you’re charging it every night; my question is why? Do you not sit and watch tv before bed when it could be charging, or are you going to rate that too somehow? Or charge it in your car on the way to or from work. Time management people is all I can say—no pun intended but it’s a good one huh? Update June 12, 2019: I have swam with this watch multiple times and love it. It not only tracks your laps but tells you which ones you did—even an ‘unknown’ lap when I was dolphin kicking but making nonsense arm motions just to get it to track bc it won’t track when you’re arms aren’t in motion. It gives calories burned as well as split and auto sets. I keep my heart rate on that screen too because that’s most important to me as I do intermittent cardio while swimming. (I do see now that the step counter is quite off for me. I do not believe I often walk 15,000 steps a day just around the house or even shopping. ) Sadly I did find the battery has a very short life if you use it as it is factory set. I was having to charge it twice daily but then I found how to adjust settings for battery conservation on the Apple site. Now it lasts a good 27 hours or so without charging. I have to tap to get the time but the constant glowing face in the dark when flicking the wrist was annoying anyway so that works well for me. I really like the flashlight on the watch as I often go to bed after my husband so I can see and still use my hands unlike a phone or handheld flashlight. One more thing, the alarm on the wrist is particularly handy so you don’t have to wake the whole household when it’s only yourself getting up. (Well I only need a wrist shaking to wake up; if you need four alarms this won’t work for you, lol.)

I am a big fan of Apple technology, and if I had even more money, I would update everything once a year when a new one comes out, but, unfortunately, I can’t afford it yet and am content with what I have. This watch is very old, it came out in 2017, I got it in September 2021. My boyfriend gave it to me, at that time, he could only afford the “troika”, although there were already newer models. I was extremely happy, it didn’t matter to me what generation of watch. I just wanted them. For me, the main function of the watch is tracking activity. I actively play sports, it is very convenient to track activity. Convenient, but I think there are cheaper analogs for these purposes. I actively play sports, it is very convenient to track activity. Convenient, but I think there are cheaper analogs for these purposes. The watch is synchronized with the phone (I have an iPhone, although in my opinion they can also interact with Android). You can answer calls and talk on the phone through the watch, for example, if the phone is in another room. You can control the dial and software through the phone, which is very convenient. Another function that is vitally important is finding my iPhone. I often lose it and the watch helps me find it. The watch measures my pulse, but many bracelets that are much cheaper can do this. Another plus is that you can change the straps. I don't have many, but sometimes I change them depending on my mood. I mostly wear the original - white, naturally it is better in quality.
I love my watch! Features I use often/appreciate: - workout feature: tracks active calories, steps, distance, stair flights, heart rate. There are also tons of types of workouts including HIIT, hiking, strength training, yoga, and more! - sleep tracking: I wear my watch at night as well, so I like that it tracks my sleep. It’s also now compatible with the natural cycles app to track your body temp! - battery life/charging time: I will usually wear my watch 2 full days (including sleeping at night) before I have to charge it. When the battery is low, I’ll typically charge it while I’m in the shower or getting ready for the day— it doesn’t take long to get a full charge! - texting phone calls: it’s so easy to answer talk on the phone or reply to texts either by typing ... STYLE. I really like their design - laconic, I would even call it austere - nothing superfluous. I especially like them in white color. SECURE AND COMFORTABLE STRAP FASTENING. At first glance it seems that such a fastening is not reliable at all, but it is worth putting it on, as you realize - just so it will not leave your hand. THE ABILITY TO CHANGE THE DIAL. And it is not only about beauty, but also about convenience. You can customize the widgets that will pop up on the screen. I need: date and time, weather, scheduled events on the calendar, activity, battery indicator. THE ABILITY TO CALL/ANSWER CALLS AND TALK DIRECTLY FROM THE WATCH. If suddenly skillful people pick up a password to them, they can pay for purchases with the watch, since you do not need to enter a password or fingerprint when paying. Charging: For the first 3 months the watch held a charge for 2-3 days, now it's on its third, but a stable 2 days for sure. Conclusion: I believe that this watch can be useful for those who spend most of their time out of the house, on their feet, at a non-sitting job, traveling, in the car.
The watch for me overall is good! It came in an actual Apple box with all original apple parts. So as many people have mentioned in their reviews, the charging cord IS included but the little box that you plug the cord into and then plug into the outlet, is NOT included. For me this wasn't an issue considering I have plenty of spares and the 2 lamps in my room both have usb ports for the charging cord. I had no problem with setup. Both band sizes (S/M and M/L) were included. Some have said they have an issue with battery life. I have not yet experienced that. I worse mine for 2 days straight (excluding when I showered) and the battery was still at 40% when i finally charged it. I tend to sleep through alarms on my phone in the morning so I make it a point to wear ... MoreThe watch for me overall is good! It came in an actual Apple box with all original apple parts. I worse mine for 2 days straight (excluding when I showered) and the battery was still at 40% when i finally charged it. I tend to sleep through alarms on my phone in the morning so I make it a point to wear the watch to bed. I charge the watch while I shower or while I'm sitting at my desk doing homework for school so my watch rarely drops below 60% battery. I've had to update it twice in the short 3 weeks that I have had it, but that an apple issue not an amazon issue. I had no problems with updating as some others have. I haven't tested the water resistance yet as I just don't quite trust it. Everything has always said that electronics and water just don't mix so until I get a waterproof case on it I'll just stick to what I know. I've seen a lot of reviews that say they essentially only use it to get texts when their phone is in another room, but I will say that I actually using the replying and calling features on the watch. Naturally the call volume and quality isn't the best but considering it's a WATCH that's not an issue so it's not worth all the other complaints on it. Working in a childcare facility, I can't have my phone on me at work. But living in Oklahoma during storm season, I like to be able to get updates from my weather app letting me know what's going on in case of inclement weather. Overall I have no issues. Especially considering the steal on the price!

It’s working well easy set up, I used the imei on Verizon to see if I could get it activated with a phone %23 and dataThey said yes but I didn’t do it since it’s for my SIL (son in law) I wanted him to set it up himself. I just logged in with an Apple ID that is one I use to test things not a personal one, I will reset it for him once I give it to him at Christmas. The screen is in good condition some very fait marks if you can call them that! This came with a lot of stuff charging cable power block 5 extra watch bands 6 including the one on the watch. And a stand for the watch charger.Personal this is a small screen to me because I had one I owned originally with the series 3 with cellular came out (paid over $300 brand new in like 2016 I think)Now I will say I ... But honestly the quality is so good that’s not needed and if they did include better boxing the price would go up! Just trying to buy an empty apple box on EBay is expensive!I believe this company did a great job rating this watch!
