This iPad folio cover definitely has a nice look as it magnetically adheres to the iPad. The magnets are very strong so it wont come off unless you try to remove it. Every other off-brand folio cover is a simple plastic case that covers the sides of the iPad with the same tri-fold cover design. **Dont buy this if youre hoping for solid protection or tend to drop your devices frequently as this case is more of an aesthetic cover that protects the glass and aluminum backing from scratches. You would have thought that Apple could have come up with something better for the price. It just folds round the iPad but has no way of holding it in the cover or of securing an Apple pencil.There are better options out there that are not that much more expensive and do a vastly superior job of properly protecting and transporting the iPad and pencil.

I liked the first one I bought in white so much I decided to buy a second in Navy. More practical for travels on trains etc. Slight velvet/soft inner to protect front and back. Protects back and camera and the front fold and becomes a triangular stand. When the lid is closed the ipad turns off, unless you are listing to audio book etc.

I think that the product does exactly what it should. It is clearly high quality because it has a perfect fit and the seams are made with what feels like a durable material. I am concerned about the cost - it is expensive compared to the non-Apple alternatives. However, I am hopeful that the higher price means better quality.
I was a bit reluctant to pay so much for a case for my new 13" iPad, in black but, I am so glad I did, because you get what you pay for with Apple products: This case fits perfectly and it looks fantastic and very well made to a very high standard and it really compliments my new iPad. I am glad I purchased this genuine Apple case from j Lewis instead of chancing it online and wondering what will turn up. Definitely money well spend.
It’s a beautiful cover but I will be returning. It has. I place to securely hold the pencil as others covers do & I feel like that feature is a must. Other, not branded Apple covers have that. I also worry about keeping a white cover clean. I chose white because there were not enough color options for this product but after seeing it I think it was not a good choice.
The headline says it all. I was looking for a very lightweight case that I could remove/attach super fast, which means I was going for a magnetic back type. However, just like the Apple folio products before, the edges are sharp and uncomfortable when holding in your hand. Additionally, there's virtually no protection to the corners, so if you drop this with the case on, you'll dent/damage your iPad corners.I'm not sure how they get away with making this product for this price. The color, however, is really nice, but that's not enough reason.
Looks good. Keeps your device slim. In case anyone does not know, this product is not a drop protection case. Basically just protects the device from scratching the back while picking it up or placing it down lol. 80/100 dollars is an insane price. However, for what it is, 5 stars just because it looks and feels good.
I’ve used this style of case with every iPad I’ve had. IMO, best combination of light and functional. Mixed feelings about this revision, as the case rocks a bit when it’s sat back at 45ish degrees. Conversely, you can now adjust the angle as it slides on the magnetic attachment point, so it’s a decent tradeoff.
This new Apple cover for the iPad Pro is very expensive in comparison of other manufactures for same item. It has a front and a back and attaches to the iPad by magnets. It has no sides and nothing covers the iPad corners. It costs $100 for what is essentially a book dust cover. Although a book dust cover wraps around the front and back. This Apple cover doesn’t even do that. So maybe you are better off just using a paper book cover. I returned it.
