I wanted to move back to iPhone as I use Apple computers and was impressed by my friends iPhone 12 portrait photos. So I sold my base model S22 for the iPhone 15. Screen quality is great. I disabled 120hz on the S22 so am ok with only having 60hz.Battery is better than Samsung. USB-C is great but charging is slower than S22. The Main Camera is brilliant, just as good as the S22, renders images differently, more true to life. However the Ultra Wide camera is rubbish on the iPhone 15. Another disappointment is that iPhone can't be forced to use Nightmode like the S22 can. S22 nightmode was significantly better. Almost pitch-black room become bright, iPhone couldn't do the same. I don't use nightmode in day to day life so am not too annoyed but am very disappointed about the weak ultra wide camera. Videos are superior on iPhone.iOS is fine however it will take me a while to get use to navigating around. I find the button layout to be annoying on iPhone, I keep pressing the volume up when I want volume down. I also find the mute button only mutes text/ calls and not media volume. Also trying to move files / photos / videos between Mac Mini and iPhone was not as easy as I hoped for. Sure I can use "Photos" App to import photos but to move images and videos back to the iPhone I had to use "AirDrop" - why can't I simply drag and drop from the Finder window??? For $200 more I wonder if I would have done better getting iPhone 14 Pro with its better Ultra wide camera and Real Zoom lens. Oh well, guess I will just have to use my mirrorless camera more often for photos now.

CAMERA IS TERRIBLE

I am so incredibly unhappy with the camera quality. The pictures are grainy, blurry, and have weird contrast even after I’ve tinkered around with the camera settings. I specifically upgraded from an iPhone 12 to the iPhone 15 because I was excited to have the 3 camera lenses. I wish I could get my 12 back but the 30 day return period has passed. If you are debating getting this phone, don’t get it. Or the iPhone 15 pro max. I’ve looked on the Apple support community forum, this is a known issue but Apple isn’t doing anything about it. Their support team wasn’t able to do anything for me.

My phone bill has increased, I have a subpar new phone that cost time and money. My only recourse will be to stop talking about moving on, but actually take my business to another carrier. I have quite a few friends that have already moved to other carriers and Verizon was aware, but did nothing. I don’t expect to receive any feedback as I believe my review will be dismissed and only positive reviews are published in order to draw new naive customers.

Not sure which product/service I’m reviewing because I went to Verizon to switch internet providers but ended up switching multiple things. I had internet service with Xfinity and if I remember correctly or up to a year at least, my WiFi would intermittently disconnect…sometimes 6 times a day. So I would have to go and unplug, wait, and then it would work. So after dealing with this for a long time and trying EVERYTHING Xfinity suggested, I looked into other providers. My options were limited and I was very weary about internet through Verizon because I didn’t know much about the quality of internet service through 5G or LTE. Needless to say, I went to the store and after discussing with another customer, I realized I was paying way too much for my wireless service. ...Ā MoreNot sure which product/service I’m reviewing because I went to Verizon to switch internet providers but ended up switching multiple things. No issues with WiFi anymore. No issues with speed or anything at all. It works great! So I’m very happy with all the changes I made.

So I was excited to get the 15. I upgraded from the 13 to the 15. Biggest mistake! First during the transfer part of phones it stopped transferring, so it took two tries to get that done. Then my apps won’t work, I’m unable to log into some. It gets warm while it’s charging, the battery life sucks. My iPhone 13 was way better. The iPhone 15 glitches, lags, and is slow, once again 13 was better. Another I don’t like is the new usb cable. I can’t connect to CarPlay either since my vehicle does not have this cord co. So basically after less than a week with this supposed great new phone, I am returning it and going back to either the 13 or maybe the 14. Don’t waste your money if you don’t need to upgrade.

Replaced a used iPhone 7 Plus with a new iPhone 15 two weeks ago, as Apple is no longer updating the iPhone 7 Plus. The biggest difference that I have noticed is that the newer iPhones are designed to have a longer battery life. I never use social media on a cell, but I do frequently use SXM, iMessage, and various news throughout a day. The charge on my old cell would last 2-3 days. My new cell charge lasts 4-5 days. It was setup with iOS 17.0.2, and it recently updated to 17.0.3. One of the updates in 17.0.3 was to address overheating that was observed by some with the iPhone 15 Pro. Overheating was not observed on my cell. The sound from SXM is noticeably improved on the iPhone 15. The cell exterior felt slick, so I bought a case. Enjoy!

I recently purchased the iPhone 15 to replace my iPhone SE which was basically losing its charge very quickly. The feel of the phone is solid and the camera is an improvement and the screen is bigger than my old SE, the new phone has face recognition rather than fingerprint. But that is where the difference really ends, the icons on the screen are the same the functions of the buttons and the settings are all identical.I can understand that these features would be basically the same, but for the extra money and the fact this phone is probably six generations further on than my old SE I cannot see much of a difference,.I know all you techies will say that the operating system and chips in the phone are far more advanced, but for a normal everyday user, I really can ...Ā MoreI recently purchased the iPhone 15 to replace my iPhone SE which was basically losing its charge very quickly. The feel of the phone is solid and the camera is an improvement and the screen is bigger than my old SE, the new phone has face recognition rather than fingerprint. But that is where the difference really ends, the icons on the screen are the same the functions of the buttons and the settings are all identical.I can understand that these features would be basically the same, but for the extra money and the fact this phone is probably six generations further on than my old SE I cannot see much of a difference,.I know all you techies will say that the operating system and chips in the phone are far more advanced, but for a normal everyday user, I really can not see that much difference.

This iPhone 15 is awful. I’d give it a zero if I could. It’s so sensitive, anything touching it causes it to continuously opens tabs on its own. Doesn’t matter if it’s in your purse, pocket, or hand. If I put it in my pocket while I’m walking, my podcast cuts in and out on literally every step. battery drains in a matter of hours. It changes the ringer volume, makes calls, even managed to cut off my CGM sensor which is a medical device synced to the phone. I hate it! As long as it’s laying isolated on a table, counter, or desk, it won’t do anything unless you touch it. I’m returning it and will stick with my old iPhone 12.

The iPhone 15 is a great phone. There is a few flaws from the factory because of the software if you get the new iPhone 15 and you can’t sync your old phone to your new phone and if you attempt to do a software update while setting up the phone and it fails that means the phone is running on iOS 17 so you need to do is basically Set up the phone with no Apple ID d get it connected to hotspot or Wi-Fi update the phone to the iOS 17.1 after update is completed do a factory reset on the phone Now you will not have to update your phone. It will skip the step in the process. And when it comes time to sync your device, it will work perfectly. The people were great thought I would save time by ordering on time and picking up my new phone in store. I was promised a very simple way to transfer my phone once I got there. However none of the I15s came in w software loaded which now took about two hours and Ed were charged 30.00 for store to do it. Then found that new IPhones have ubc-c connectors on both ends which meant we did not have a charger at all. Waited two days for Amazon to get this to get to ne. Also because of the he’s Canera features, my wallet case that was promised to fit the new phone did Not fit. I am still waiting for the new case. Very disappointed.
