I received these with my iPhone 5 and at first I was very happy with them (even though they had a tendency to come loose when I was moving around a lot), but then they just stopped working one day. Like my charger, I think a wire became disconnected and, after nine months of use, the only way I could get them to work was by bending or twisting the wire into specific positions. A bit of a pain when you're trying to go hands free. I'll break it down according to the categories listed: Ergonomics: very comfortable, but slip out of ears when moving a lot; even for people with little ears like me. Performance: no complaints here at all. Comfort: isn't that kind of the same as ergonomics? Value: mine were free so I'd say that's a good deal, but as far as earbuds with a ... MoreI received these with my iPhone 5 and at first I was very happy with them (even though they had a tendency to come loose when I was moving around a lot), but then they just stopped working one day. Overall, I'm happy with this product and will probably buy a second pair to replace my broken ones. Although, based on my experience and the experience of friends, I would say the ones offered with previous iPhone models work just as well and last a lot longer. Happy listening!

From every review I have read, most state that they fall out and are not comfortable. I just bought these yesterday and compared them to another pair I was going to purchase. These headphones out beat the other pair hands down. I must have smaller ears, but these fit perfectly. They don't fall out or bug my ears like the older versions did after wearing them for a long period of time. I did favour the older headphones but these are defiantly a positive upgrade. I love the fact that they do cancel out noise. I go to the college so drowning out everyones voices was a big thing for me when buying a new pair. The bass is awesome, and they sound very clear. The price did suck but when I looked at the prices for other such as skull candy they were the same price. A sales rep echoed Apple’s boastful claim: these EarPods “rival high-end headphones.†After trying them out, I must disagree. While the sound quality is good, it’s only marginally better than the older type that used to come with every Apple device and not by any stretch impressive. As for its new ergonomic design, (despite Apple’s three years of development) they’re only ideal for people with smaller ears. At the gym I found just lying down on a bench was enough to cause these suckers to fall out. Though more costly, if you have to stick with Apple, the In-ear Headphones are probably a better choice.
Obviously you get what you pay for & they're a cheap version of apple but just not worth it. Get the proper straight away & save time & money.
They sound great and personally fit me well but they break easily. I've had a pair for a bit over a year and they slowly started to break starting with the left bud going very quiet, then the mic and volume up/down not working, then the right also becoming very quiet. Not only that, the wire on these earphones are not sturdy and easy rip near the input plug resulting in exposed wires. Not going to buy these again (i've gone through many) and i suggest getting better earphones that will last longer.
These earpods are so great. Normally I don't like Apple products because they aren't that great, and overpriced. These however, are super good. They fit into my ears so nicely, and I usually have problems finding earphones that don't hurt my ears. The sound quality of the earpods are amazing too. I've tried many different headphones and earphones, including Monster, Bose, Sony, JVC, and Apple, and these are by far one of the best. The bass sounds awesome, terrible, mid-range, vocals, everything! Especially considering they're Apple products. I definitely recommend these to everyone.
They are model a, which the diaphragm is made by paper-wool like hybrid material. That allows us to hear 20Hz much better. Model b is special plastic and have better response time. Bass is similar to model a but not as low. The item arrived without any damage. However, it is looking a bit old. Which I'm not sure why. (Might be manufactured earlier?) The 4th image is this item. Without any glare that means it's paper diaphragm. The 5th image is model b. There are some glares which represents the diaphragm is plastic.
Becareful! it may not work with android or microsoft product. That's why I don't like Apple, they don't like to go along with others. Why things cannot be made universal, it's all business greed. And Bestbuy does not allow return if you open the package or item used, it's ridiculous but that's what it is.
I, er, found those tucked in my aeroplane seat. I did not expect anything special, I have other earphones for my flights, but I really liked them when I tried them on. They are clear, with a good range, and I can adjust the volume remotely on my ipad. I love classical music, and it is a pleasure to use them for some youtubes clips. They looked "Apple-ish" so I looked for them on my return to see how much they cost.I would say they are very good value for money.
