2 of my cats have sensitive digestion. One is frequently sick and the other always has diarroah. My vet recommended switching from Felix to a premium / organic brand. Since trying this, both their conditions are much improved and both cats adore it. My 3rd fussy tabby cat who previously hated wet food and would only eat dried, also loves it.I'm disappointed to read the two reviews which say it isn't a complete food, but they fail to detail what vitamins it misses so perhaps an update would be more informative to anyone concerned by those reviews.I tend to try a range or organic foods for my cats to give them a broader range diet anyway as us humans don't like to eat the same thing day in day out so why do we assume they do? I must have Ireland fussiest little girl!!!! She doesnt eat much at all. She wont eat canned, jellied, pate food. She will eat kibble for indoor cats but only when she feels like it and in small quantities. Applaws Tuna Fillet is a godsend! Every morning she wolfs 1/2 can, snacks on some kibble and is finally drinking water. This is definately a big hit and great value. A bit more expensive than Sheba and 10g less. Will have to compare quality for next order.

Applaws is the only wet food our cats will consistently eat. We have tried other brands just for variety and the cats will only eat them for a week or two so we always end up back on Applaws. In the 4 years since we got our cats I have never had a single tin of Applaws that didn't seem top quality, it is always 100%. We always buy the 24-tin saver packs because they are the best value. The only slight downside to Applaws wet food is that it isn't a 'complete' food so we have to make sure the cats also eat complete dry food too, which can occasionally be difficult. Overall I would recommend Applaws wet food to everyone simply because the cats do love it. A+++

Pumpkin is a great food to help regulate digestion and can be used to assist with constipation or diarrhea. I like to keep this food on hand for those occasions but my kitty loves dig it on the regular, too. And hey, if it keeps them "regular" it keeps us all happy!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My cat loved eating this cat food, he finished it right away! I love that there are no additives in the food because it makes me feel good about what im feeding my cat. I know exactly what the ingredients are, unlike other cat foods with a huge list of ingredients that I dont know. It is really expensive though so it is a high end product but the ingredients are amazing.
I got this because my cat hadn’t pooped in a few days, and he had been very regular and pooped daily. I read pumpkin helps by providing fiber and liquid to help keep them hydrated. My cat LOVES this, we give him a little of his old food and a little of this pumpkin and chicken on the same plate, and he’s eats the pumpkin first. And he is pooping daily again. He is a very happy cat again!!!
About a year about we switched to Smalls cat food and it was fantastic for a while. After they changed their recipe formulations a few months ago (to make the food even healthier), our cat refuses to eat any variety of the food...forcing us to cancel. I gave Applaws a shot (Chicken Breast with Pumpkin) and our Siamese cat is back to begging for breakfast and dinner. She also loves the Tuna with Shrimp in Broth and Tuna with Seaweed. I particularly love the inclusion of pumpkin and seaweed in the Applaws recipes. I've already recommended Applaws to three people!
My cat is a very picky eater. I feed him this once or twice a week along with his regular dry Applaws chicken dry food. He was about to run out of dry food, and I bought the chicken variety pack wet food to tide him over. My cat loves fish, but my veterinarian said most cats are actually allergic to fish, and my cat had ear allergy issues in the past. He also liked the Applaws duck food, but it made his feces smell so bad in the litter box, being an indoor cat only, and I transitioned him over to chicken. With the chicken and duck in broth he ate a little of it and all the juice. With the chicken and cheese he grudgingly licks the liquid as he hates cheese leaving all the rest. My kitty hated wet food, he used to like it when he was a kitten but after becoming an adult he stopped eating it. I tried so many different brands that never worked. Giving him dry food constantly was becoming a problem bc he kept having constipation, even though I added water to the dry food. Then I discovered this, and saw that it had pumpkin included, which was great. Bought it and fed my cat, I also had to add a bit of those freeze dried chicken treats, and he ate it in one go. I am so glad he is starting to eat wet food again. Sure it’s pricy but for the health of my fur baby, it’s worth it. He doesn’t have to suffer from constipation anymore. Also, for parents out there having trouble feeding wet food to their fur babies, try freeze dried chicken, it’s a ... MoreMy kitty hated wet food, he used to like it when he was a kitten but after becoming an adult he stopped eating it. U just sprinkle some in top and mix it with the food, and cats go crazy over it.
My cat like the can, but the can is just not very healthily for the cat. According to the label on the can, it shows it contains rice which is very unnecessary. The second part that draw my attention, the label shows "The product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only." which means this can can't substance as primary food.
