The monitors are thee best budget monitors I've ever come across. I gamed on 60hz BenQ monitors for years, but the change to 144hz is massive. The only thing I can fault is on the 2nd monitor, there's a 'smudge' of some sort that will not come of so I have a feeling it's within the screen itself, it's no biggie as it's the monitor I use just to put my discord/google on etc, but a little annoying considering I paid so much. Aside from that I recommend these monitors to ANYONE looking for a cheap budget upgrade for top tier monitors.

Bought as the cheapest 144hz 1080p monitor around, and certainly, don't regret doing so.Limited reviews online made me worried it might not be that good, but so far I've found it comparable to other monitors I own that cost a few hundred more. The curve is *just* right, refresh rate is great of course - but even just the build quality itself is amazing. Really nice height adjustment system and the tilt function works fine too.My only issue is there seems to be a slight shadow-like blur around black text, but isn't noticeable from 1/2 m away.

Had it for a quite a while now. The colour saturation and colour balance is great. FreeSync and 144hz refresh rate feel amazing! The pixel responsiveness can be troublesome at times but Medium setting works best for me. The monitor can be adjusted in various positions which may come in handy for some. There are few extras in the box which I really appreciate. The main build is plastic and doesn't feel super strong but at the end it's just a monitor.

As the cheapest 144hz monitor on the market I was a bit hesitant but after listening to my friends (who also have this monitor) I decided to give it a go and boy was it a good choice. The bump from 60hz to 144hz was immediately noticeable, colors look nice after some OSD adjustments, and physical build is seriously great. For those hesitant about the curve I'd say to give it a go anyway. The curve is actually surprisingly very nice to the eye and I now prefer the curve to a flat screen... Seriously recommend this monitor if you're looking for a good quality cheap 144hz monitor!
1st monitor I bought shipped well and came as expected. No dead pixels and build quality was great.2nd monitor however not so great, shipped with a dead red pixel and the stand quality is terrible, the stand lengths are both different sizes. It's ok as it isn't my main one but very disappointed.
For the price, it's REALLY good. Transitioning from 60 to 144hz was insane! But I had to mess around with the settings, because for one, the contrast was too high. And second, there was this horrible ghosting/motion blur like effect that took me like 2 minutes to find and disable. But once you configure the settings, it's great! I just wish the default settings were better.
Pretty OK monitor, panel is a bit dim and colors are not amazing, but you get what you pay for. What's not OK though, is the black line that appeared after 4 months of use. Research suggests it's a common problem with this model. No word back from AOC about it a few weeks after sending a warranty request. Please keep this in mind if you buy this. I think AOC seriously cheaped out on the panel considering the low price for the amount of features you get. I would personally suggest buying the ASUS TUF VG279Q1A instead as it has a much better panel and all the same features as this one and a higher refresh rate.
I only upgraded to a desktop pc January last year and have been using an old TV screen for a monitor.Decided was time for an upgrade and went for this monitor. Cheap pricing for great quality. The colors are beautiful. Every pixel is so clear. The 144hz really helps with the fps in games.I was hesitant of getting a curved monitor at first but its actually really nice, this monitor has a small curve but still supplies you with gameplay that draws you in.
Finally upgraded from a 2009 TFT @60hz to this and could not be happier. Butter smooth gaming @ 144hz in vibrant colour I didn't even know existed. Has Rocked My World, Baby. So glad I followed the recommendations. Also, SCAN's service was a delight. I actually tried to purchase this monitor @ LaptopsDirect first but several factors stopped me.Came to SCAN - no issue whatsoeever, transaction was smooth as silk. First Class.
This monitor is a champ! Awesome for everything I've been using it for. It's been so good for the FPSs I play. It handles motion so well that I can't see any reason to get a TN panel for the response times, it's right there with them. I've seen reviews recommend changing the overdrive to "strong" in the monitors settings to get the best performance, which I've done.Loving it!
